Tyresö Scene 1: Team Temperance [Four Factions ]

Red Shadow Claws

Six Thousand Club
As they reach the city, and see the refugees streaming out, Selira tries to find someone to talk to who might be able to explain the situation to her. She will turn to civilians at first, but if they wouldn't talk, she will try to find a militia person, or a soldier.

To a civilian she will claim to be a traveler from Whitewall, and to a soldier a diplomat. Tattered though it may be, she still has her letter of appointment.

Re: Tyreso - Actions Tempered by Thought

The city fell into panic for the fight between the Dragon Blooded and an Anathema (that you have witnessed in the appropriate thread).

When the fuss starts to settle down, you approach a young female soldier.

From her body language, she appears decently trained, but she's definitely too thin to be a soldier, and definitely not someone who has ever seen battle.

Her eyes betray hopelessness while she explains you that the "Beastly Anathemas of the Wyld" are set to destroy the City.

With an hesitant smile she speaks about the Dynasts that, against all odds, are defending the city.

Strangely, she calls them by first name.

"Juu and Pyrun vanquished that monster! Praise the Five Dragon, we would be dead without them!"

Re: Tyreso - Actions Tempered by Thought

Triceria

Triceria raised an eyebrow at the words but kept quiet, a silent member here. She didn't want to cause problems for Selira before she had her chance at working with the people here. Clutching tightly the cold weather cloak around her she glances at Kemal before looking back to Selira. Triceria had sworn to protect them and she would, she just hoped that these Dragonblooded, that had already found but loss one 'Anathema', would not be quick to find more. Harried as they were before Triceria kinda wished that the Dragon-Blooded had not been here. A rest was good every so often. Briefly spending a concerned thought for the distant escapee, she sighs softly and waits for Selira.

Re: Tyreso - Actions Tempered by Thought

The soldier hurries to rejoin the ranks as her officer stands before the Dynast in the big armor, probably the general of the Town's army.

Re: Tyreso - Actions Tempered by Thought

Selira turns to her companions when the soldier leaves their presence "I would like to learn more about what's going on here, but to do that I need to talk to the Dragon-Blooded officer there in the big armor. You do not have to approach him with me, and it might be best if you don't, in case our descriptions have arrived here through Sorcery. Wait for me here, and I'll be back soon."

With those words, unless one of her companions stops her, she walks towards the Dragon-Blooded officer.

A woman in her mid thirties approaches, her clothes slightly dirty, but it doesn't detract from her good looks and poise. She is wearing a purple shirt, and sea-blue skirt, with a golden belt holding it all at her waists, emphasizing her curves.

"Good day to you, good sir. I am Selira, a diplomat of Whitewall, and I have just arrived here to see chaos. Can you please inform me on what the situation is and whether it might have some bearing on Whitewall that I should notify the Syndics? Also, any info you might have on the road to my fair city would be greatly appreciated."

I must give you the opportunity to adjust your entry. =)

Anyway, I adjusted the description to my style, but I fear Selira will be recognised as a PC nonetheless.
According to Juu's reaction, you may start posting directly with your account.

Re: Tyreso - Actions Tempered by Thought

Triceria worriedly stands there having accepted Selira's desires. Rubbing at her arms she frowns deeply as Selira approaches the Dragon-Blooded and the large crowd gathered there. "Kemal, tell me that I am overreacting and that over there is not a threat waiting for her eagerly." Triceria asks calmly and softly tightening the cloak around her. "I'm overreacting are I not?"

Re: Tyreso - Actions Tempered by Thought

Standing in the shadow of a tall building, Kemal says to Triceria,I wish i could tell you that. Damn her, the plan was to stay in the background and find out the situation. Triceria, just be ready for anything. Moving closer to the shadows, Kemal says to no one in particular, You too, be ready.

Re: Tyreso - Actions Tempered by Thought

Triceria nods at Kemal's words as she takes her sword hand and begins takes a strand of black hair to brush its soft edges against her lips. She wished she could be ready for anything but this situation was not in her favor. The city was unfamiliar, Dragon-Blooded abound, what other hidden dangers threatened them? And so she stood more, in the cold, and the wind, only now more worried for Selira. Get it together Triceria, if things do go bad as they have of late, then you must be quick to respond.

Re: Tyreso - Actions Tempered by Thought

Dismissed out of hand, Selira turns back, in as dignified a manner as possible, and walks back towards Triceria and Kemal, but doesn't pause next to them, so as not to draw too much attention. She turns to them once they are turning the corner though.

"It seems like all of this commotion stems from a single Anathema, but there is now easy way to find his identity. I don't wanna rouse too much suspicion asking around right now."

Re: Tyreso - Actions Tempered by Thought

Walking along with Selira and Triceria, Kemal says softly "Thats fine, but judging by the anima banner, definitely a lunar. For now we should find shelter, an inn or something. Then we will think about our next move. "

Re: Tyreso - Actions Tempered by Thought

Triceria casts a final wary glance towards the crowd and the Dragon-blooded there, before catching up with Selira and Kemal. Silently she wonders about the Lunar that had hopefully escaped, a Lone Lunar. Still it was the nature of Lunar's at times to be solitary in the actions, and becoming involved with him might compromise her bond's goals. She nods and smirks. He's a Lunar he'll survive, she thinks to herself.

"A warm place would be good for such discussions," she says still brushing a strand of hair against her lips.

Re: Tyreso - Actions Tempered by Thought

The Circle reaches a clean Inn, just by the Town's harbor.

You find the keeper and his wife packing their few possessions to leave the city.

He can't believe you. "YU UANT TU SLIP THEAR!?"

"Crezy bat hell, fain bai me!! De Inn is yors!"

To the inkeeper, Kemal says "Thank you good sir, we will take good care of it."When the inn keeper and his wife left the building, Kemal says to the shadows "Daboia, Echis, watch the outside and make sure we are not overheard." The shadows move slightly in response and Kemal turns towards his compatriots and says "Triceria, what can you tell us about your people in this part of creation?"

Triceria looks around the now abandoned Inn with a frown. What were these people afraid of. The Lunar maybe, though perhaps they had a healthy fear of the Dragonblooded destructive recklessness. Shaking loose her hair she turned to Selira and Kemal addressing Kemal's words.

"I can't tell you much. They are quite reclusive and generally brutal, if I didn't know any better the Swords of Luna make the most of the North." She shrugs with a smile. "But I know that they are doing things up here. Things that they might not want disturbed. My pack had many secrets that even I didn't know. Otherwise they are hardy bunch, who are a bit less likely to show themselves outside their territories. With the Realm here, they wouldn't be this close. I do not think there are any packs nearby. Why?"

"Just have a feeling that" and points out the window, "that is not an isolated incident. He flew out of here like a bat out of Malfeas. I don't know, it just feels planned, and I was wondering if there was an operation of some sort going to happen, so we can either chose a side or get out of the way."

"You might be right, but if its a combat pack or even more so one of the secret ones, then maybe we shouldn't involve ourselves. They have their plans and an elder would not risk a pack with little thought to his own power. A lone pack... maybe, I have heard rumors of the younger packs doing reckless things like this. But you are more sure than I that this was planned." She nods to Selira, "Though I will honor the decision to chose a side if there is one and you desire to be a part of it." Triceria goes to the windows and looks outside with a passive look. "I hope that we do not get stuck in the middle of two forces very angry forces."

To Triceria, "Just a few inconsistencies that make me feel that it was planned. Whether an act of war or thievery, it just doesn't feel right. He was in too much of a hurry and it didn't sound like he was exposed until after he revealed himself as what he is. I guess what I'm trying to say is that we don't know enough, and I'm making guesses on little to no intel."

Thinking to himself, I wish I had a spy of some sort, but its too dangerous to summon a demon here and much too dangerous to try to subvert one of the populace.

Turning to face Selira, Kemal says "Selira, what do you think we should do? Situations like this fall up your alley more than mine."

Selira listened intently to the conversation between Kemal and Triceria, while considering what little they knew. At long last, she sweeps her gaze on her surroundings until she locates a nice comfy-looking chair, and sits down, her eyes looking straight at her companions, and a slight smile on her face, her green eyes twinkling with mirth.

"Luckily for us, the Dragon-Blooded things I was inconsequenstial to deal with. If it is more info we seek, we need to work our way through whatever bureaucracy is left here till we find the mortal with the most power that remans here. Along the way we might also find more info, after all Tyresu can't completely block Whitewall's diplomat, when a Dragon-Blooded says this trouble might affect Whitewall. We are, nominally, an ally of the Realm." She then strokes her hair absentmindedly "What we need right now is a good meal, and then we'll begin our information gathering. Triceria, do you have any form that will be inconspicous in a city?"

Triceria shrugs, "Perhaps my falcon form could be considered a good one to use. If not that, assuredly a common city cat?" She blushes slightly. "Though I have a slight tendency to go and curl up along warm window sills."

Code:
Your interpretation so far is just great, each of you gets 1 XP.
However I'd suggest you guys not to waste time and to move quickly, at least to find some intel.
The other teams are moving already.

Selira smiles "Yes, the form of a common cat would be perfect. Few people would suspect a cat of spying, and while you do so, Kemal and I will go out and try to talk to what's left of the governance of this city." She's about to turn when she stops, as if she remembered something "Kemal, can any of your demons spy for us as well? we can send that Agate to scout out from above."

Turning to face Selira, "The agatae is outside the city and would be too noisy, but my two spider demons, Daboia, Echis, can spy from the shadows. But, we are wasting time here. We should really get moving." To the shadows, "Daboia, Echis, stick to the shadows and try to find out what you can. Make sure you are not seen. If you are detected, head towards the outskirts of the city, lose your pursuers and circle your way back."
