Arabelle watched the two interact with a heavy heart. She felt as though she was responsible for the anguish that these people had suffered through and the pain they had endured. She watched them talk to each other and looked down at the ground. She began to cry softly.

My father died and my mother did in childbirth. Then my brother left and Leon saved me from my miserable life. I wish he had saved one of you. You deserved it much more than I."

(I don't know, ask Birdsie. Last time I checked, the stasis shield Xer pplaced on the civilians was still in place because Amos focused his attention on Xer not the barrier. It has its own power source, so as long as he doesnt attack it anymore, It'll hold for at least 12 more hours. Xer put A LOT of power into it.)
