Fantasy Two Worlds Collide

She took a slight step back from him, clenching her jaw. She couldn't hide her worry though and was relieved when Kyle arrived. "Y-yes." She stammers, nodding. "Is there anything I can do to help?" She asks Kyle. 

 

[Matreania]

Kyle sighed, turning to Caleb then looking at Rowan, Caleb was with Brandon beside the unconscious body of Eric, Emery's brother. Kyle smiled at her, "Caleb and I will deal with this and you should see what Shannon found."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She looked between all of them uncertainly, her eyes landing on Emery last before she nodded. "Alright." She says quietly before going to find Shannon. 

 

[Matreania]

Shannon smirked, "I'm finally going home." she toldRowan excited, "But first Caleb didn't leave as I thought, he was collecting samples of teh land, to best decided a goodplace."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan looked to Shannon and smiled a little, glad to see her so excited. "I told you he wouldn't leave." She says with a small, teasing smile. "So who will be going back with you when you leave to take the samples?" She asks, wondering if she would have to choose or if Shannon had someone in mind.

 

[Matreania]

Shannon smirked, "Oh I already completed my analysis of the samples and am ready to give you the information so you can pick which way you want to go. I was going to be taking Eric." she motioned to the unconscious Eric, "Back home to get medical treatment and find out what is going on with Brandon. Adam, Kyle, Emery and Caleb were staying with you, but I guess Emery will be coming with me, huh?" she gave an unsure expression before she sighed and shrugged, "Anyway, he collected samples from the pathways and a few that aren't, I have decded to ignore unsafe paths, like ones that are safe for a group our size and focus on the ones that are safe."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan nodded in understanding and moved closer to see what she had found. This information would be important for their next plan of action. Trying to push back her worry for Emery. 

 

[Matreania]

Shannon smirked as she started to explain, "Okay." she said ,as she opened up the map that she had been given by Caleb with places he marked. "These places are dangerous, even for a small group." she pointed out spots that were marked red than to the ones in blue she sighed, "These aren't dangerous, but they aren't safe. Not hard to get to just hard to get back from. You can't use magic in these areas because they are so old, it's ancient spell work to keep something in, I'm sure. So they would be the best to take whatever it is you want to there, but it might not be easy getting out."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan nodded her understanding as she looked over the areas marked. The paths she had chosen went through areas of mostly red. But one went through  a blue one. "Thank you Shannon. So these areas, when you say hard to get back from, what are some of the obstacles you think we'll run into?"

 

[Matreania]

Shannon shrugged, "Quicksand puddles, traps or even magic. Like I said the soil sample I got showed ancient magic traces, it's possible that the magic is fading in some parts but it's hard t tell from just the one spot that was given to me."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She nodded in understanding...mostly. She didn't get why it would be harder coming back than going. But she would figure it out. "Very well, thank you, again." She says. 

 

[Matreania]

Shannon smiled, nodding, "Yeah, I'm just really happy to be going back, even if it is with a man that should be a curse and a Justice that has a forbidden weapon."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan smirked. "You'll be fine with them. But if it makes you feel better, do you want any of the others to go with you?" She didn't want her to be afraid or uncomfortable. 

 

[Matreania]

Shannon shook her head, "No, you might need them, besides, I think it will be best to just get home, no matter who is coming with." she looked a little concerned towards Kyle*, "But you should be careful, he loves his wife, no matter the brave face. He had a chance to hurt her and he was as powerless as Emery was with Eric."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan frowned as she also looked to Kyle*. She didn't know anything about that, didn't even really realize he had a wife. She looked back to Shannon and nodded. "I understand." She says gently. 

 

[Matreania]

Shannon smiled, placing her hand on her shoulder, "Whatever you are doing, I hope you succeed, I knowHector and Kyle wouldn't trust you with it if they didn't think you could do it."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan smiled even more. "Thank you, that means a lot to hear." She says. SHe couldn't help herself as she hugged Shannon. "Good luck getting back, I'm sure it'll be fine though." She says.

 

[Matreania]

Shannon smirked, "One thing about a Justice with a forbidden weapon, I actually feel safe."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan let out a soft laugh and nodded. "A very good point. I'll see you when we get back." She says as she started to move to go to the others and figure out if Emery was going with Shannon.

 

[Matreania]

Kyle* sighed as he stood up, Emey was breathing alot better, but Caleb left him to explain it to Rowan, as Brandon started to get the two brothers ready to go. Kyle* sighed looking ta Rowan and gave her a half smile, "We got him stable, but he needs to go with the others. His ribs are more than cracked, he has at least three fractures and two are broken. Another is the best person to help, not us."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She frowned deeply. "I agree, he needs to get back." She ran a hand through her hair. "That was my fault, he shouldn't have had to get hurt so badly." She muttered, not realizing it had been out loud. She glanced over to Emery and then back to Kyle*. "He knows he's going back?" She asks.

 

[Matreania]

Kyle* sighed, shaking his head, "He is unconscious, from the pain." he placed his hand on her shoulder, "But this isn't your fault, Rowan, we all agreed to come with you and we all knew that we had to protect you, he was just doing what he had to."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She clenched her jaw, she didn't care, she didn't want any of them hurt to protect her. Instead though she nodded. "I know." She whispers. "How will they get him and Eric back if they're both unconscious?"

 

[Matreania]

Kyle* sighed, "It's a simple joining spell, each one will take a brother and together they will teleport back to base, it's part of why the towers are so tall, they stand as a becken for things like this."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan nodded in understaning, hoping they would all be safe to get them back. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Alright, well we'll make sure they get going alright and then we'll go on our way." She says, a partial question in her tone, hoping that it sounded like a good plan.
