Renesme was still standing there, a look of horror. She breathed in and yelled "Jacob!" as loud as she could. She ran towards him "I-I woke up and came out to get some air, and they were here." she said quietly.
 
Alice was next to their side in a second, having just heard Renesme's high pitched scream from so far away. It seemed like Nessie would be a skilled escape artist, since Alice was just reading all of the books in the shelf, along with all of the magazines they kept in the cottage, when Nessie snuck out--and Alice didn't even hear her, "What's going on?" she demanded of Jacob, seeing him in wolf form with Renesme wrapped around his leg. Jacob couldn't say anything but pointed his head at Thomas in a ball on the ground. Alice jumped back into a crouch and a snarl built in the back of her throat, "Who is that, Jacob?" she growled, she didn't recognize him, and she was a bit territorial that they were so close to the house.
 
Thomas could barely keep his eyes open. So much happening. He recognised Jacob in wolf-form. Blocking him off from the girl. Thomas' sight flickered to the new-comer. Whats...with the hair? Slowly, his form was shifting back into human, still showing his wolfish eyes, until what was laying there was Thomas' body, exhausted from change and trauma. He flickered his sight to the girl one last time. Your safe...good... Within seconds, Thomas fell asleep. But not without letting a tear fall from his eye. A lot of pain came from his delusion, but he took comfort in what relief he could gain.
 
Robert.::. he grunted, he felt sick, worried, lonely. he didnt know what to do, he was scared. he did admit it but, didnt want to. the thing is, is that Robert was always scared of the dark. his father abused him, he scared him when he was 4 and threaded to kill him. as he got older and did silly little mistakes, his father would beat him. when he was a teenager, his father did something to him, and he hated him for it. he turned him into a were-wolf, by force. Robert wanted to forget his father, but he scared him for life. five years ago his father died. his mother after died, she had suicidal hatred of herself, and that Robert let him down, but really Robert's dad let Robert down. his heart crumbled and he fell asleep. he shivered and a tear came from his eye, and it truckled down his nose. as it fell to the ground, Robert felt scared and lonely, more tears came. he whimpered, horribly scared.
 
"I couldn't see anything so when I heard the snarling, I rushed over," Alice mumbled. She whipped out her iPhone and pressed in the numbers as fast as the phone's sensors would allow it, it picked up on the other line in half a ring, "Edward, get down here now, we have a situation." she said exceedingly quick, starring at the werewolf laying on the ground, shifted back into a human. There was a whimper somewhere in the woods, Alice picked it up with her sensitive ears, "Did you hear that?" she asked, turning to Jacob, "What was it?" Jacob shrugged his wolf shoulders and decided to find out, he pushed Nessie into Alice's arms with his nose, then lumbered off into the woods to find the source of the sound.
 
Bella.::. she saw edward on the phone "whats wrong?" she asked, nervous.


Robert.::. he woke with a start. he heard rustling everywhere. the smell of vampires where everywhere too. he ran, to the top of a hill. he was black, according to the shadows, and his eyes were red. the moon was behind him, giving special effect. he starred down below him. he howled, calling his brothers from the pack, he was scared, but could fight. he had done that pretty much all his life.
 
Jacob was running through the forest when he heard the howling and started in that direction. 'Robert? He ran up the hill and met up with Rob, 'What's going on, dude?'


Alice pulled Renesme into her arms, comforting the child and singing softly to calm her down, "It's alright, Nessie--Momma and Daddy will be here soon," Alice smoothed down her hair gently and cradled her into the crook of her neck. She silently cursed the fact she could not see the odd half-breeds, it would solve a lot of her problems.
 
Bella.::. "edward? what happened?! who called you?! is someone in trouble!? is it my baby girl!!?" she said worried.


Robert.::. he was shaking, his eyes turned silver. t-this wolf, he was about to to kill me. i got scared a-and ran he said, you could see scratches on his from the woods, sticks in his fur too. he whimpered and his tail went between his legs
 
Edward shoved his phone in his pocket "Nessie was kind of almost attacked by a wolf. Jake was there to help, though." he said and grabbed her hand leading her out the door.


Renesme nodded and held onto her. It had to be hard to hold a twelve year old girl in your arms but, when your a vampire it couldn't have been that hard.
 
Bella.::. "what!?" she was mad with herself, letting Nessie and Alice go off without her "i need to get there NOW!" she said letting go of edward, running to the door. she flung the door open "Nessie!!" she yelled trying to figure out where she went
 
'Calm down, buddy,' Jacob soothed, 'We all go through this, we all acted like Paul when we first started shifting, remember. 'Sept we grew out of it, and Paul is still a jackass. The guy was overwhelmed, I don't even think he knows if he's from the rez or not, the guy said he's from Detroit, probably fights a lot--you saw him in the bar, the guy's a beast,"

Alice clung to Renesme and stroked her hair, "Bella," Alice sighed, speaking normally, "Just follow the sound of my voice,"
 
Bella.::. she ran in the direction of Alice's voice and was crying. how could i have let this happen!? she thought.


Robert.::. he nodded yh, he can be a pain in the ass, but he thought i was going to hurt the girl! i mean, would i ever do that!? he thought, looking at Jacob. sadness in his face
 
Jacob rolled his large eyes, "Man up kid," he said, "You can't let the little stuff get to you. Thomas didn't know who you were and he couldn't trust you not to hurt the Nessie. You didn't know Thomas and you couldn't trust him not to hurt Nessie. Get a handle on yourself, how old are you again?"
 
Robert.::. he calmed down a bit 16 he said, he shivered as the wind came by. but he had the feeling someone was watching them...


Bella.::. she finally reached Nessie and Alice, she saw Nessie crying a bit, and Alice hugging her. she almost cried herself. "Nessie!" she came running to her baby girl
 
Renesme was wrapped in her mothers tight grip and for a moment couldn't breathe. She took deep breaths once her mother let her go.


Edward followed behind and stood behind Bella as she held Nessie. Once Bella let go he picked up his daughter.
 
Bella.::. she was in tears, she sniffed and smiled "are you hurt?" he said looking into Nessie's eyes, worried for her sake
 
'Then man up, wolf, and show it. You are too old for this, the pack is here for you man, but you gotta straighten up your act,' Jacob said and nudged him with his snout.
 
Robert.::. he looked into Jacob eyes, seeing help and protectiveness. he nodded in reply i will try. it just all new to me, i did just change a few months ago he said slightly smiling
 
Nessie shook her head, "I'm fine, Mom," she said. She patted her mom's shoulder and smiled.

Jacob was a bit taken aback, 'Really? I could have sworn it was longer,' Jacob's ear twitched as he heard Bella, 'Well, come on, I guess you have to meet them so neither of you flip out. Bells might feel better if I'm there,' The last thought was to himself, but since the pack was linked, everyone heard everyone's thoughts. Jacob pushed Robert with his paw, 'Com'on,' then padded out of the clearing, waiting for Rob to follow him before breaking into an easy running stride.
 
Robert.::. he nodded at him in silence, he licked his scratched paw then limped behind Jacob. he didn't know the girl very well, and barley even knew any vampires. he was nervous about it all.
 
Carly watched her brother from the trees and padded out in wolf form. She quickly followed him and sat beside Renesme once they reached the group
 
Robert.::. he was scared that the girl would pounce on him and kill him. so when they got there, he kept a good distance.


Bella.::. "i am so sorry sweetheart" she said practically crying. he ran his fingers threw her daughter hair, trying to keep Nessie and herself calm
 
Renesme sighed "Mom, I'm fine," she said with a roll of her eyes.


Edward grabbed Bella's hand "Shhh, she's okay," he said.


Carly nuzzled Jessie with her nose and smiled as the little girl stroked her.
