Tutorial on Sizing/Aligning Images

Lady Warlock

Anime RN
A few days ago I was informed (and delighted to learn!) that image heights/widths can be changed and that images can be aligned to the left or right in a manner that text wraps around them!!!

I've seen quite a few people complaining that they can't restrict image heights and that they can't imagefloat.

I think it would be great if there was a tutorial on how to do so. It seems to me like it would be an official site tutorial, though, and only staff can make those. If there is a better place it would fit and someone would let me know where, I'd be happy to make one. If it does belong there, I think it would be highly beneficial for a page to be made that explains it.

We welcome user-made tutorials for useful things! It really lends to the sense of community RPN has. For a new user, to see so many people who feel they can give information and be listened to is very encouraging.Good user-made tutorials are even likely to be featured in the site newsletter.

Thank you for bringing it to our attention though! I'll definitely broach the topic and see about adding it to the list.

While I would love to make a user made tutorial, this seems like something that's a way the site works. As such, I feel it would best belong in the "Official Site Tutorials" section which last I looked, wasn't open to members to put things in. If it was open for me to put something there, I would have just made one rather than creating this thread about it.

Make your user tutorial and if we think its useful it will be moved to official tutorials on the subject.

Where would I post such a tutorial? It isn't really design based. It is more a basic how-to function. I would not know where it would be appropriate to post it and I even asked for suggestions in the first post of this thread.n
