Other Is there a way to "mark" threads you've already read?

hi!

been enjoying the site lately and reading interest checks along with it. i notice that they tend to "refresh" every time that a new post is made (as if i haven't read it before). i tend to get confused with some of the similar titles too. that said, im mostly wondering if there is a way to mark these interest checks as "read"/hide them for myself?

hopefully im explaining this right, lol.

Unfortunately not; the system shows things as "read" or "unread" based on the most recent post, not the thread, so once someone makes a new post on a thread you've read, it'll show as "unread" again.

Something that may help is to click on the Filter button (at the top of the list, on the far right), scroll down to the bottom of the popup, and have it sort by "First Message" rather than "Last Message." That will sort the threads by the date they were created, so if you know when you last checked that section, you'll know how far down to read before you've gotten to that time, if that makes sense?
