Sonnet hurried down the alley, thankful that her trick had worked after all. After a while she would sit down in between a pile of garbage and a dumpster. She was silent as she hugged her knees to her chest, laying her cheek above one of her knees. Next she shut her eyes, but didn't sleep or let her guard completely down.
