I was thinking star trek TNG sized rooms, since the proportions of the ships are near the same.

I believe the Lounge is a combination of both the Lounge and Recreation room from USS Saratoga.

I also don't think it possible to hear others on the other side of the doors. When it comes to Quarters, I had hoped privacy was something that was enforced regarding the mechanics and design of the ship itself. Thus, whatever happens behind those doors stay there. Just so everybody can feel comfortable and safer that way.

Also, thicker doors would be best in the case of a quarantine, which we did mention.
