The one-way transatlantic Mediterranean cruise of everyone's wildest dreams, all expenses paid for by Heron University, a tiny private college in the heart of Manhattan, as part of their study abroad program. This one cruise supports a wide variety of majors, anything from art to English to pre-med. A luxury cruise among the top 10 in the country, an endless supply of drinks, and completely free of charge? An offer nobody can refuse.
The cruise started out just fine, and everything was running smoothly. It was just a big group of college kids partying every night and curing their hangovers with more drinks. The ship was on a direct path to its sister campus in southern Italy, right near a beautiful Mediterranean beach village, a direct contrast to the hustle and bustle of New York City.
At least ... until shit hit the fan.
One of the drunk idiots on the cruise somehow found themself in a minor altercation with the captain, which later escalated into a massive fight that was never resolved. However, instead of going to their room and cooling off like any normal person, they decided to disguise themself and throw *all four* captains overboard in a drunken rage. The ship was being controlled by a drunk college student who had no idea how to drive a boat. The ship was going completely off course, and nobody on the cruise even knew.

The students of Heron University are part of the general population of people on the cruise. The vast majority are constantly getting drunk, causing some sort of disturbance, and generally acting like idiots, but that's entirely up to you!

The people who work on the ship. Their pay is relatively high, and they work long hours. This does not include the captains (because they drowned to death). The cabin crew will eventually realize the captains are not on the boat anymore, and panic will arise.
