David felt the boards break underneath him. He let out a small curse as he swam to dry land.

He breathed heavily before grabbing his rucksack and skirting off to a hiding spot. He took his jacket off before grabbing a blue collared shirt and blue jeans. In a few minutes he made his way to the clearing. Since most everyone else was getting dried off he decided to lay down on the grass and look up at the sky.

Corey
As the pillar began to tremble, Corey jerked up and instantly jumped away from the weak part of the dock. However, she wasnt fast enough. The moment the dock collapsed, she crashed into the now broken part of the dock, winding herself and falling into the water with the others. When she came out, she was gasping REAL hard for air and couldnt swim right until she grabbed a stable pole. She turned to Chris and finally spoke after sometime. And she sounded rather ticked.
"Y-y-you trying to kill your fucking revenue source here?!"​

Alice and Roxie​

Alright alright, don't get your panties in a wad,"

Roxie rolled her eyes at the comment.

"Besides, this is all stupid anyways. Why do we need pictures? It's not like he is really gonna post them anywhere."

"Hell if I know," Roxie said as she stared at Chris.

"I can assure that absolutely nothing is going to happen to you guys! You're fine!" "Oh, hold on. I need to replace the battery!"

Roxie watched as the others finally came over for the picture and then finally Chris was ready.

"Alright! We're ready riiighttt,"

"Alright come take the damn pic-ahh!" Splash! Suddenly the dock crashed causing everyone to fall into the water. Roxie quickly and angerly looked around and went over to Alice. "Hey, you ok?" Alice looked around and nodded. "Yeah, good thing we can swim huh haha." Roxie turned to look at Chris and glared at him. She then gave him a threating smile. "I'm coming for your ass, Chris!" She then starts swimming as fast she could to the boat and she was coming up fast. Alice watched Roxie and started to panic. "Roxie wait!" But Roxie had tuned everything out and wasn't listening. Alice quickly swam to shore then yelled out to Roxie again. "Roxie come back!" Alice then sighed and looked around....there was no way she could ask someone to get her she probably drown them in the process.

A little bit of water only made things better, better to sneak some glances when everyone was wet than hold her breath for later.
"Oh cmon. Why don't we just go swimming? Hell this is an island right chris? Or you too wimpy for some fun?
Nevertheless she went along dropping her luggage off.
"Fine fine. Let's do this. So what's it gonna be? Wrestling a alligator? Jumping off a cliffside? Running a mile?"
Charlotte asked, getting noticeably louder, more eager and excited with each suggestion.
Charlotte was...not a normal person. She derived enjoyment from the things other people would consider dangerous or difficult.
Not that she'd actually be able to wrestle an alligator successfully or have a better chance surviving a huge drop than any other person. But atleast she'd go down in style.
"Ooh the clearing, why is it called that. Maybe we can call it the shining or the devouring. More spooky."

Willow
Of course. She didn't expect it, so when she fell knee first into the water she was screaming. It didn't really matter if the water was harmless or if it had animals in it. It was still a huge shock to her nevertheless. She felt around in the water, kicking her legs wildly to keep herself at a safe depth. She saw something in the distance, grabbing it and realizing that it was a suitcase. Most likely belonged to either Devin or someone else who brought a suitcase. She started to calm her breathing, steadying her balance as she started to swim towards shore, dragging the suitcase along with her.

Devin
She could hear the wood below her creaking before they ultimately fell, but she honestly thought nothing of it. Because she trusted Chris! Now she's in the lake, clinging to one of the standing poles holding the dock up. 'Noted, never trust Chris.' She sighed and glanced back up towards the part of the dock that was still standing. Some of the luggage had fallen into the lake but the rest had stayed on the dock itself. She swiftly turned around to check if her luggage had been unlucky enough to fall into the lake, but it didn't seem like it as it wasn't floating on the top like the rest of the bags and suitcases. Unless.....She ducked under the water to check if her case had actually just sunk down in it. But she couldn't see anything so she assumed that it was still on the dock.

She eventually made her way to the shore, but after she got a good swimming rhythm.

Duncan
He cursed at himself as he landed into the water, immediately flipping around and watching as the rest of the contestants basically scattered around in the water, finding their luggage or the shore. Or both. His attention was almost immediately turned to Roxie who had started a scene a few feet away from him. She seemed pretty angry, a smirk painted across his face. "Kick his ass Rox!" he hollered, swimming towards the girls who were closer to the boat Chris was on. "Make him pay for this bullshit."

Chris
He watched the teenagers fall into the water with a wide smile plastered on his face, so far his plan was working just fine. He turned to
Chef who had begun to laugh at the contestants struggling to either catch their breath or just simply swim towards the shore. He glanced down at Roxie who had started to aggressively swim towards him, turning to Chef and pointing down at her. "Um, well you'll see when we get to the clearing, Charlotte!" he then turned back to Chef, "now let's get the hell out of here," he hissed as Chef slammed the gas and the boat zoomed away. "Remember! The CLEARING IN THE WOODS!"

Kris

Kris listened quietly as he waited. THough with every passing second, he heard the creaking sound of the dock. After a few more seconds, he thought about telling everyone that they should step away from the edge until Chris was ready, but fortunately, it seemed that the picture was coming, as Chris said, "Alright! We're ready riiighttt,"

Kris put aside his worries, but they hit him full force once the dock finally gave way, him and everyone else plummetting into the water. After landing in the water, he sighed once he swam back up to the surface. Looking around, he watched as people started swimming towards the shore, towards their luggage, if they were one of the unlucky individuals with luggage close to the dock, or, interestingly enough, towards Chris' boat. Unfortunately, Chris zoomed away after once again reminding them of where to go.

Mentally shrugging, Kris swam to the shore, taking off his orange cap and shaking the water out of his hair, kind of like a dog would. After he finished, he sat the cap back on his head. As he did so, he spotted one of the female contestants dragging a suitcase along as she swam towards the shore. Seeing that she might have been struggling, Kris threw his hat on the sand and ran back into the water, swimming towards the girl, "Hey, would you like some help? Swimming with a suitcase doesn't look like an easy task."

Corey managed to swim back to the shore, but the moment she walked up onto the sand, her foot got caught on a hidden rock arch and she fell flat on her face into the sand. She got off as she shook whatever she could out of her short red hair and her pale freckle stained face. However, sand had gotten into her eyes. She began to moisten them by, of course, crying in fear​

Alice watched as Roxie was quickly trying to make her way to the boat when suddenly she heard someone cheering her on. She turned to it was Duncan that someone how didn't really surprise her. She looked back to Roxie and sighed. Roxie glanced back when she heard her name and noticed it was Duncan. "Hell yeah, I will!" She started swimming faster to the boat and was getting close and just when she thought she was going to make it the boat speeded off. She was so close to. Roxie then shouted out a bunch of swear words at them. "Ugh! Chris this isn't over! You hear me?!" Alice had grabbed her and Roxie's things and had been watching the whole thing. She figured that was going to happen. Roxie clearly pissed turned back around and started to swim. When she got closer she swam over to Duncan. "You see that? I was like that close until he speeded off." While waiting for Roxie, Alice noticed Corey had fallen and she looked to be crying? Alice quickly got up and walked over to her. "Hey, you alright?"

Corey looked around for the voice. It was evident that she could not see for the life of her because of the sand. She signed and looked down.

She seemed a bit surprised at first, almost like she had just noticed Kris come up to her, which was only partly true. She saw him run back into the water but she didn't expect him to ask her if she needed help! Nevertheless, she smiled and gently pushed the suitcase toward him. "Yeah! I would appreciate it, hah!" she giggled, despite the situation she was in. Quickly raking the hair out of her face so she could see clearer. She quicked her legs a bit quicker to move them both towards the shore, "thank you so much."

Devin
At first,she contemplated whether or not she should just make her way over to the clearing or if she should stay back and help the others with their luggage and everything else. She ultimately decided to stay behind with the others who also decided to help, pulling bags and other things out of the water when they came floating up on the shoreline while watching out for people who might need her help. She noticed Willow struggling and stepped back into the water until Kris ran back in to help her. She smiled at them, 'well at least he is a good guy. Maybe we could actually be friends. If we end up on the same team'. Grabbing another bag out of the water and setting it down with the others.

Duncan
Watching Chris speed off, he felt a little bit disappointed. Even though he could have predicted Chris running away anyways, he actually really wanted to see Roxie beat the absolute shit out of Chris. "Man what a pussy," he hissed as he watched Roxie retreat from her spot and swim towards him. "I mean, there is always next time." He stated, flipping his head back so his hair would get out of his face. "He'll be at the gathering so I mean, there is that possibility."​

Geoff was soaked as he emerged from the water. He spat out some water as he pulled himself onto the dock. He looked around for McGill. "That boy is fast." Geoff thought. " Like does anyone need help." He shouted towards the soaked people. He didn't mind being all wet. On most days he was soaked from some gnarly wave.

Mike emerged from the water. "Who.. What… Where." He said as he looked around. He gritted his teeth as he facepalmed. " Damnit it happened again." he thought. 'Why can't you guys leave me alone.' He let out a breath as he made it to the dock and moved towards relative safety.

David let out a breath as he stared up at the sky. It truly was a beautiful day. ' Maybe I should've stayed and helped.' He said out loud to himself only to scoff. " Like how you helped that one girl. You only made matters worse McGill like you always do." He let out a somewhat loud war cry. " Why are you even here. It isn't like you stand a chance in a rigged game like this." He shook his head. "What did you get me into Phil." He said calmly. He plucked off one of the blades of grass and put it in his mouth. He closed his eyes as he tried to find inner peace.

Alice smiled, "Come on don't give up so quick. Come on get the sand out your eyes and let me help you up." She said as she held out her hand.

Roxie smiled, "That's true" Alice glanced over her way and noticed she was talking to Duncan. She could already see where this was going. "Roxie!" She yelled out. "Don't even think about it." Roxie turned her head to look at Alice and her smile turned into an annoyed look. "How did you even know what we're talking about!?" Roxie yelled out. Alice sighed, "I'm not stupid Roxie I know you better than anyone! Just let it go!" "Fine! Whatever I won't do anything!...." She then looked at Duncan and smirked. "At least for now....Anyway let's get out of this water." Roxie turned and started to head for shore.

She sighed and felt around a moment before finally grabbing onto Alice's hand. She tried rubbing her eyes out once more as she stood up with shaky limbs. The poor woman didnt seem to believe in herself enough to continue on even after getting little tiny grains of pebbles and such in her eyes. What did this girl experience in her home life?

"Im just gone.. Just by looking people know Im not fit to play this game.."

She let go of Alice's hand once she pulled herself up and then walked over to a remote ares to get back to the dock ramp and get her things. However, she crashed into a nearby tree - in fact three trees as she finally made her way to the dock. She walked over to her luggage after feeling for her guitar case. She sat with it for a little bit, trying to wipe out the sand.​

Devin
A smile came to her face when she watched the rest of the cast finally start coming towards the shore, she didn't like the fact that she was absolutely soaking wet from falling in the water. But she would dry off eventually. She wrung out her hair, pulling on tangles as she threaded her fingers through the locks and eventually swinging her hair over her shoulder. Her eyes darted across the different girls around her and she couldn't stop herself from smiling. She could feel her cheeks become red, 'dammit. Why do they all have to be cute?' Devin shook her head and immediately turned back to the water, offering her hand to Roxie. "Here, let me help you."

Duncan
Duncan glared at Devin when she offered to help Roxie, he knew that the girl wasn't really a threat. But for some reason, he didn't like that one bit. Instead of speaking out, he just decided to push his feelings back. He didn't want to offend someone on the first day of the show, although that wouldn't really be a problem later considering the fact that the show relies on competitors. He pulled himself out of the water, feeling ten times heavier than he did while in it. That wasn't very nice but whatever. "Hey, Alice!" He called, jogging over to the girl. "So, where is the clearing?"​

Charlotte called out to both Duncan and Alice.
Charlotte had made her way to the clearing and awaited everyone else to make it there. Oh she couldn’t wait to find out what they would be doing.

Alice watched as the girl walked off to get her things. Alice began to speak out when she realized Corey was headed straight for a tree. "Hey watch out for that-.....to late" The girl walked right into the tree. "I hope she's going to be alright." When Roxie swam back to shore Devin offered her a hand. "Hmm? Oh thanks." Roxie took her hand and got out of the water. She then took her jacket off. No point in wearing it when it was soaked. "Good thing I'm wearing a tank top and not one of my good shirts."

Alice looked over when she heard someone call her name. Turned out to be Duncan. "Huh?"

"So, where is the clearing?"

"Oh-" Before Alice could answer him Charlette Called out over to the two of them.

“You two better hurry to the clearing. I bet I’ll beat you!”

"Well, there's your answer," Alice said. She then went to pick up the bags and started heading to the clearing. Before leaving though she called out to Roxie. "Come let's get going!" She then turned and headed for the clearing.

He glanced at his phone, checking the time. He knew it wouldn't be long before the campers showed up around the clearing. He made sure beforehand that everything was all good to go, so hopefully things would run smoothly for their first competition. Chris immediately heard the shouting of Charlotte, quickly pocketing his phone and standing straight up. "Charlotte! Please, have a seat on one of the logs behind me." He eyed her, how was she the first one here? He eventually had to shrug that thought off when other campers were showing up right behind her. "Man, I thought that would be kind of a challenge, finding this place...Guess not," he mumbled to himself, scratching his neck.

Willow
She slowly pulled herself out of the water, heaving the suitcase with her before tossing it with the other luggage. Her eyes meeting Devin's who offered a helping hand..Which she gladly took. "Thank you so much," she sighed and was met with a wide smile. "No problem!" Willow couldn't help but return Devin's sweet grin. There was something about that girl that Willow really liked, but she didn't know what it was. "Um...We should, uh, head on over to the clearing. Right?" Willow offered her hand and she noticed Devin's face become covered in a bright blush. "O-Oh, um. Yeah, sure!" Devin giggled before taking Willow's hand.

Duncan
Duncan groaned, rolling his eyes. "Fiiine. It's not like there is anything better to do anyway," he eyed Roxie and puffed his cheeks out, sighing through his nose. "Come on girlie, let's go!" He smirked in her direction, expecting Roxie to look his way...Hopefully, anyways. But he did also notice a few other contestants finally crawling out of the water and walking towards the clearing.​

David woke up from his nap.it felt like he's been asleep for weeks. He rolled his neck as he walked into the correct clearing. He saw some other contestants there.
He took a minute to get a look at the contestants. The boy who thinks he's all tough. 'He'll probably drop the fecade soon enough." David thought. He looked at the two girls. He couldn't remember their names. One seemed like a bit of a ditz and the other one was clearly interested in her. He then looked at the last girl. She seemed alright.
He stood behind them leaning against a tree. He had his natural scowl on his face.

Geoff made it to the clearing he was only wearing his shirts. "Sup." He said to the group of people before taking a seat. He looked and saw McGill he motioned the boy over but McGill shook his head. 'Guess he is a loner.' Geoff thought.
......
Mike cautiously made it to the group and sat down.

Charlotte nodded and took one of the seats. Just had to wait for everyone to arrive and surely they’d be doing something fun soon.
What could Chris be planning to do? She was still down for the alligator idea. But honestly anything at this point would do.
Looking around she noticed other people were starting to arrive.
“Hey guys cmon hurry up!”
Geoff, David and Mike were all just arriving.
“Ah. Boys always so slow!”

David shot the girl a 'piss off' look as he leaned against the tree. He whistled a tune as he waited somewhat patiently for Chris to say something. He looked over the group and frowned. Those two boys seemed to have gotten lost same with three of the girls as well as that Uber scared girl. He shook his head. 'Your here to win not make friends."

Corey
Poor Corey took forever to finally make it to the clearing. When she finally did, her eyes were puffy from crying. Guess that tree pain finally caught up to her. She carried her guitar case over to a separated log from the others. She set the case beside her and simply began wiping her eyes again. She could see better from crying that was for sure, but she was still having issues.
All that was on Corey's mind was that she would be the one to go first. The first off the show, the first to be eliminated. It appeared she had no self confidence and just looked like a nervous wreck. Once she realized it was impossible to get the rest of the sand out of her eyes, she just pulled her legs close and hid her face from everyone under her arms. She was embarrassed, upset at herself, and at this point alone​

Alice finally made it to the clearing and sat down and set the suitcases next to her and waited for the others. She saw Corey finally arrived and waved at her but either Corey didn't see or was ignoring her. Alice then shrugged and waited for Roxie to arrive.

Roxie looked over to Duncan when she heard him call out to her. Before heading over his was Roxie looked back at Devin. "Well see you at the clearing." And made her way over to Duncan with her jacket in hand and walked with him to the clearing.

Corey looked over to Alice and realized she didnt notice her. Now she really felt bad. She just sat down alone in the back, looking at her case, then deciding to get up and go get her bag of stuff. Once she came back, she this time acknowledged Alice and waved to her before walking back to her spot

He was checking the time on his wrist watch when he noticed that the camera was back on him, and he quickly forced a smile on his face. The camera panned around the clearing as everybody one by one showed up and Chris began to explain the challenge. "Alright campers! So," he sat down on the log that was in front of the rest, "I decided that because everyone here is new and doesn't know each other." He pulled out a remote as Chef walked towards him with a box. "We could play a game and get to know each other! How about that?" Chef began to walk around and lock shock-collars onto everyone's throats. "This challenge is simple, basically, your face pops up on this television screen and I draw a card out of this basket. The cards have questions on them that I will then ask you, but if you lie...Well," he pressed the button on one of the remotes and the shock collars activated, shocking everyone in the process. "Oh, and the light on the front of the collar will shine bright red when you lie, that's how we know. And ya might want to hold back on lying because if you lie, then your entire team pays for it."

Just then Chris realized something, he never actually announced the teams. "Oh! And uh, before I forget. I need to announce the teams! Don't I?" He felt sweat run down the back of his neck, quickly he pointed at the people he mentions. "Corey, Sophie Margaret, Willow, Julian, Kristopher, Duncan, Ashlynn, all of you will be the Killer Bass if you can please move to the left." He turned to the remaining, "Charlotte, David, Geoff, Mike, Devin, Roxie, and Alice. All of you are now known as the Angry Boars. Move to the right side."

"Now let's let this challenge begin!"

Devin
She pressed the tips of her fingers of the collar as she was moved to the right with the rest of the Angry Boars. It was tight, it felt like it was choking her and she didn't like it. Her eyes move around her new team as she hunched down into her own body. No no, she didn't like this at all, she wanted to rip the damn device off of her body. Rip her skin off if she needed too! She just wanted it off. The problem was, it didn't scare her, it wasn't technically uncomfortable. She just felt caged in, and she hated that feeling. She hated the feeling of being caged in, "okay you'll be okay, Devin just calm down and breath" she whispered to herself, pushing a lock of coily hair behind her ear.

Duncan
When he and Roxie finally got to the clearing, he was immediately told to remove his current collar, which he did so reluctantly. His spiked collar was replaced with a shock collar. He tapped the bulb in the front of it with his fingernail, grumbling quietly to himself. Seriously? This is a competition? And we all get punished if just one lies? Man, this sounded like preschool all over again. He slumped back a bit and glanced over to Roxie and Alice, giving them a short wave.

Willow
Pulling her hair to one side, she started to thread her fingers through it anxiously. She didn't know what kind of questions would be asked, would they be super personal? Probably, this is a reality television show so she wouldn't be that surprised it they were. However, it still made her nervous. She was vulnerable and she had the possibility of being exposed on live television. It didn't make her feel good at all. She eyed the rest of her teammates, she couldn't read their emotions very well just yet, but maybe they would be just as nervous as her.

David frowned as the collar was placed on his neck. "Is this legal." He asked Chris. He took a few steps back from his team as he got a decent look at them. S'o these are the jackasses I'm going to have to work with.' he thought as he leaned against the tree. 'Could be worse.'
