Fantasy Tomorrow

"That would probably be nothing" she said sarcastically. It must just be some trick, no one can jump from one place to another, teleportation just don't exist, simple as. Ella looked around her; she really should get out of here and away from this crazy, get on the street and lose the girl in the crowd. Yeah... that sounded good.

Gus sighed and started walking away, but then she heard it loud and clear. Nolonger in her mind, the station filled with a group of indistinguishable people.. armed, but not blood lusting or too skilled. Still a dangerous brush up for a lowly girl like herself. Guns were pointed at both of them and Gus felt sick.

"Well.. can you trust me long enough to get you out of here? Then, if you still think im a crazy as you put it, you can leave safely?"

Anastasia teleported next to Zach and quickly grabbed his sword. "No....." She began to speak as she glared at them. "They are fighting with me.....and me alone." Her voice was venom and sharp. "This is a fight long over due." The blue in her eyes turned from a light soft blue to a sharp icy blue.

Ella looked back and forth, spinning round as she did. Where did all these people come from?! And why were they pointing weapons at her?! She was clean, no cops had been near her in years! Ella was panicking slightly now but she didn't show it. Instead she turned back to the girl with a slight scowl "Trust?! No thank you"

They shot at Ella as she freaked out, though the bullets didnt even make it half way to her. Gus traced the adrenaline and stopped the bullets with some difficulty as they ricocheted in the enemies direction. Flinching at her own use of telekinesis, she kept deflecting and found it increasingly difficult. They would need to leave. Fast. Gus's patience wouldnt last much longer either.

Reading the thoughts to stay aware, she replied to Ella.

"Sorry, but they arent cops. They know more about your incident than you do, whatever it may be. And this is my forst time so pardon me for my shaky intro but i will need to get you out of here safely." Her voice now held an uncharacteristic growl.

Seven hells.... Why were they shooting?! Ella backed up fast, almost knocking into the other girl. Wait... why were the bullets not hitting them? This must be a dream, it must. Any minute she was going to wake up on some other tracks with normal people milling around and no weird crazies...

"They have to be cops! That or military, it's the only option" Ella protested, irritated. "And 1, What incident?!. Oh and 2, First time for what exactly missy crazypants?!"

"Stop calling me crazy!" Gus snapped with irritation and the bullets passed through the skull of an armed man and straight through the wall. A couple guns bent and broke. Taking a deep breathe to calm herself a.d settle her thoughts.

"You wont wake up from this. You get shot and you are.." she was out of time. Her strengths were frustratingly limited.

As she let down her sheild, a bullet passed through her sleeve.. only her sleeve luckily.

Within that time, she strode forward and grabbed the material on Ellas shirt lightly and ported them a mile out of the station and on the roof of a low building with a fire escape.

Taking a shaky breath, she let go and examined the rip in her shirt, waiting for a response.

Damon felt that it was about time for him to come back home. He had spent enough time searching for other superiors, which proved to be a fruitless effort, and he was beginning to miss the company of his little band of wayward teens. Reaching into his coat pocket, the dirty blonde pulled a picture from its depths. It was torn and wrinkled, clearly worn from Damon moving around with it on him. The image was still clear as day, a photo taken of the train tracks, not too far from their base of operation. One deep breathe, and a some amount of effort into concentration, Damon disappeared into thin air, jumping to the location depicted in the photo...

Looking around, he slipped the photo back into its home in his pocket, breathing in a steady breathe of the familiar air. Finally, he was back home, his family only one more jump away. He was curious how they fared in his absence, how his second in command handled running things in his stead. Damon hoped it was better than how things went for him, looking down at the cast that wrapped around his left forearm. It was an injury he received as a parting gift from an elite member of the group that was after their kind.

The sound of gunfire echoed out into the air, and Damon recognized immediately the location it came from. The station. He quickly teleported to its front entrance, rushing to the open door to look inside. There he saw Gus, one of his younger members, with another girl. And between him and Gus were a group of men, guns blazing. Damon's eyes narrowed, brows furrowed in response to the rage welling up inside him. Gus was in trouble, a member of his family. Reaching to his side, Damon pulled a combat knife from its sheath holstered at his waist, his vision focused on an armed man positioned at the rear of the attacking group. In an instant, he was behind the man, knife slashing deep into the front of his neck, before teleporting behind the next.

The sound of gunfire masked the sound of men's bodies dropping to the floor, and since most of the attacking groups attention was focused of the two girls in front of them, they didn't notice Damon decimating their ranks from the rear, to the front until the majority of them were already dead....

TIMESKIP

It didn't take to long to find Gus. A few minutes of intense concentration, and his mind pinpointed the girl. She'd teleported herself and the girl she was with to some buildings roof. In an instant, he was on that same roof, sheathing his bloodied knife and walking briskly to the young freckle faced girl. "Gus!" He said, his tone clearly concerned. "Are you alright? Did they hit you?" Lightly, he put his hand on her shoulder, eyes inspecting her body for any wounds.

((Let's get this party started!))

Gus looked up to see her first in command looking at her with concern. She could feel all the blood drain from her face and she bit her lip. First time trying to recruit and she still had to bring some sort of attention to herself and screw up, though she was glad to see Damon. When he immediately made a concerned comment and contact, she nearly jumped, guiltily.

Shaking her head, she replied. "I.. im fine. They barely skimmed me by my sleeve.. but im sorry! I failed, this should have gone quick and easy." Green eyes lifted to her dirty blonde companion.

He could tell just by looking at her that she was nervous. The color had drained from her face, and she felt tense in his hand. Of course, in an organization like theirs, it was only natural for a bottomline member like Gus. Always trying to prove themselves capable, and constantly fretting over mistakes in fear of punishment. Sighing lightly, he gave the girl a reassuring, warm eyes locked on hers. "Hey, don't beat yourself up over it. Your safety is the only thing I'm worried about right now." Stepping closer, he pulled Gus in for a one armed hug, since his left was in a cast. "I'm glad your alright."

Gus was slightly taken aback by the affection, but it brought a grin onto her face. she hugged back lightly and took on a more natural tone.

"Right.. thank you by the way. I know i didnt kill all of them since a lot of the bullets missed.. but i felt them drop fast anyways.." she implied knowing now that he helped them at the station. Then she nudged her head to tthe side, towards Ella.

"Shes another of us.. but she thinks im crazy and that this is a dream. Should we take her or just make sure she gets somewhere warm safe?"

Looking over to the girl that Gus gestured towards, a single brow raised in a curious manner. "Is she now..." He said. So this girl was one of them, and by Gus' word thought that this whole situation was completely insane. Throwing on a smile, he stepped away from Gus, approaching the girl in a non-threatening and rather casual manner. She appeared frantic, so Damon kept the mood as level as he possibly could. "Hi, I'm Damon," he said, extending his uncasted arm out, hand open for her to shake should she choose to.

Ella was still in shock over the sudden... change of venue as she liked to think of it and was wandering around the rooftop in slight awe and slight fear. And great... now there was another person in this madness. Jeez, her life was supposed to be simple these days, No cops, no family, no ties. Just get from one day to the next and don't get killed.

At the voice she spun round, looking the person who'd come over up and down. Crazypants' friend then. Oh no.. he was called Damon. Ella eyed the hand warily. "Ella" she replied cautiously shaking the hand just barely.

Never learning how to shut it off, Gus felt the crazypants phrase pop up again. She would have to get help blocking out at times. Her eyes went to ella with mild frustration but she kept the smile.

"Hey.. are you ready to figure this stuff out, or do you want to get somewhere safe first?"

"Gus." He said lightly, glancing over his shoulder to her, with a look and a thought that told her to quiet down for a minute, and let him handle it from there. Not that he didn't trust her to do or say the right thing, it was just that it was a delicate situation. One that he had experience with on numerous occasions. Looking back to Ella, he let his hand fall back to his side. "Ella, sorry about all... this." He said, refering to the whole situation. "This probably wasn't how you imagined your day going, am I right?" Of course it wasn't, the statement went without saying, but this was the best way to handle these situations. Make small talk, let them come to their own conclusion, and just be there to help guide them to it

Ella did her best to ignore the girl, she was irritating and just.... just! Once they're hands dropped, she shoved bother of hers into her hoodie pockets comfortably. "That is the understatement of the century mister" she exclaimed but in almost a normal voice level and tinged with sarcasm. "I mean, I sleep in subway stations and Crazypants over here is now trying to tell me that she can freaking teleport right before some not-cops try shooting at us. How's that for expected?"

Gus heard her thoughts, then her words. Irritating.. that was hurtful. Then crazypants. Again. She promptly walked to the fire escape and started off and away. She didnt needthat treatment.. something just switched in her head that made her scream inside her own head she had a name and a life too. And well, Gus wanted out.

"Well, bye sir." she said in a goofy tone with slight bite in her calling him sir as she left into a more open area of the city.

"Yeah, it's all pretty unbelievable." He said, completely sincere. After all, from her stand point, none of this even existed when she woke up. The idea that people could teleport, move things with their mind, it was all probably just some fantasy comic book crap. What normal person, in their right mind would just accept because some stranger told them it was true? No, the only real way to get a superior to truly believe it, was to have them do it themselves.

A rather short and irritated sir came from the freckle faced Gus, Damon peering over his shoulder just in time to see her head duck down the later. It was clear that she was upset, and a few passing thoughts told him that being called 'crazypants' was not okay in her book. He wouldn't stop her, only projected a few thoughts her way that told her to be careful. To lay low, because there were likely more of those armed men running around, and to think and image of where she was if she found herself some trouble. He'd be able to port directly in front of her that way.

Damon brought his attention back to Ella. "But she isn't the only one." He said, with a tone that read between the lines as 'I can do it too.' "Actually, I believe that you can too."

She was a bit taken a back at Damon's response, expecting him to be all Mr Right like the other girl but he wasn't. Fantasy comic book crap, yeah right it was. Wait... she didn't think that... she didn't read comics so what the hell?! Ella'd right hand fell out of her pocket and she ran it through her hair confused and worried. What was going on here? Was she finally going crazy after all these years, delayed reaction to what was clearly a family trait?

"Do what exactly?" Ella asked with a tiny bit of curiosity.

He smiled when she inquired on just what she could do. That was good, she was starting to bite. It wouldn't be long now before she realized truly what her capabilities were. "Tough to say, it tends to be different from person to person." Looking towards the sky, Damon watched, the warm light of the sun washing over him. "But it usually starts with random thoughts passing through your head, every now and then. They seem normal at first, but eventually you get the sense that they just are not... yours." Looking back to Ella, he reached into his pocket, and pulled out a coin. A well kept coin at that, looking as though it were brand new. "And then," the blonde held his palm upright, the coin at the center. "Objects start to move when your around," he said, watching the coin, as it started to levitate up off of his palm, "Like doors opening before you reach out for the handle. Windows shutting by themselves when you think its getting too breezy." Damon's hand retreated back down to his side, coin still floating in the air between them, a warm smile as he looked to Ella. "But that's just the start."

((Sorry I haven't posted anything today, I was at work))

The fight was over, and I was glad to see that Damon was back. I hated to be leader in tough situations like that. I looked at the time it was about noon. I could really go for some food at this moment in time. People would believe that a fight like this could drive a person insane, seeing people die, and such. "Everyone, since our fearless leader has return today, I'm glad to announce that no-one has died in my presence, other than the agents in front of me," I looked over Anastasia, who had just killed her own parents. To be honest if I had ever had to go through that I would go insane. I'm wondering what is going through her mind at the moment. I would just read her mind, but I think that would be a invasion of privacy. I wonder what Damon is doing with Gus and that new girl.

Gus started through the city, only aware of the thoughts in everyone elses heads. It was unsettling, why she was suddenly uncomfortable. Probably because this was the first time in too long she was out in the daytime. The first time she was seen as strange since the incident as well. The redhead laughed to herself, uncomfortable as to her inability to stop hearing... Everything!

As she kept forward though, she felt eyes on her. Thoughts.. maybe referancing targets? In fear and anxiety, it turned to fast walking which became running.. but no. She could handle things. No need to port back.

((just out of curiousity, he knows Damon is back because he can hear/fell damons thoughts? Because Damon is not at the base))
((or anywhere close to it, as far as i know))

((Yes sorry, forgot to put that in the post. Woops))
((Remember when you came to the base in the first post, then we time jumped))

((Time for a weird post to try and jump in. I need help on what I'm doing right now))

Isabelle and Tatum walm the streets kicking up trash they passed. They were both unaware of anything going on and practically lost. Chicago was different than New York and the two of them together didn't make anything better. Neither knew where they were going.
