"Vale," she said, her voice barely above a scared whisper. She didn't know what to do.
"Vale," She repeated, with little meaning behind the word. She said it without thinking, and she didn't even know what she was saying in that moment. Finally, she crouched down, lifting his shirt but seeing no wounds. She stopped breathing entirely for a moment, before she said the same meaningless word, in the same voice.

Tsuki looked up, canceling the call. The door the noise came from was reserved for employees. And if they wanted to leave, they usually used the front door.
(She heard a noise from the employee door. Employees left through the front door, so it probably wasn't a staff member.)
She was a ghoul, but if it was human, it wouldn't be the best idea to use her kagune. She tried to avoid that. The bartender grabbed a knife.
(If it was a human, she didn't want them seeing her kagune, so she took a knife.)
