Sadly Shawn could only make out some of the words the girl was speaking something about they and finding her he was beyond confused at this point but kept up the facade as the stupid human getting annoyed he wasn't getting the answers he wanted and he has to play the part of the dumbass human that always get killed he got his mask out of his pocket and slipped it on walking towards the girl's voice "Who are you talking about?" Tremki didn't seem fazed one bit by the boy's suspicious questions, and even when he accused them for hiding ghoul bodies Tremki couldn't help but laugh for a moment. All of the sudden he decided to walk off towards Michi. In which a few moment's after Tremki appeared behind the boy, Tremki's hand resting on the boy's shoulder he whispered to him "You know, only a ghoul would be able to smell another ghoul like that..Your act was good but you made that one..Slight mistake. Don't make another." he said with a calm grin on his face.

She nearly lashed out, "Kiddo, nothing pisses me off more then a see through lie....and even if it wasn't one, what's the point of threatning them?" She uttered out to the small kid, clearly irritated. The hell was he trying to achieve? Why would someone act like they didn't know when it's clear they do? And even worse, why would the owner pretend to be human when he clearly was one of them? Stupid. She furrowed her brow in distaste. But she only let that comment pass. She then continiued looking through the store, rather well kept it was, she noticed, for ghouls anyways. She looked through the alphabetically sorted shelves and one in particular stood out. 'G' was the labeling on the shelf, and she read the several titles.


'Ghouls and How To Stand Up To One' she must have snorted, she picked the book off the shelve and handed it over to a ghoul known as Michi. She wanted to give the book to a human she planned to eat as a Christmas dinner.

Michi knocked his hand away from her. "None of your buisness..." she said "It is my personal life and that is it..." she looked around. The girl was handing her a book. "Um... may I ask a question...." she said "Why are you buying this as a gift..." she asked "You don't have to answer... I am just curious" she was acting like her old self for once, which was a relief to her. She still couldn't help but think that this girl was one of the gang members.

He asked turning around removing the guys hand from his shoulder "If it makes you feel better I wasn't actually going to hurt her I just do that cause it helps me get answers...I guess I can see why it doesn't work when I wanted to know the people after her." The boy stated taking off his mask looking back at the girl over his shoulders "I was just trying to help I just may not be good at actually doing so." He said sticking his tongue out at the lady before returning his focus to the man "Welp I guess to late to ask but I don't have to wear my mask around you guys do I?" After things figured themselves out Tremki smiled and rubbed 'Voodoo's' head and petting it a little after "Good boy." he giggled almost childishly licking his lips "And what use would it be to wear a mask once you've already shown us what you look like? Right now I'm more or less considering if I should just call you dinner." he said with an eerie expression painted on his face, he was being sarcastic about this but he often said these things to get reactions and besides...Tremki only has a taste for female ghouls.

Maniac and Joker


Loud haunting screams followed by an echoing laugh filled the empty field lit only by the light of the moon. A single red on black eye flickered over the shivering whimpering form and a light pink tongue flicked out to lick red lips followed by a purring voice. "I bet you will taste wonderful. "


Frightened wide eyes stared up at him and his prey tried to scream one last time but could only let out a wet gurgle as Jester pushed her tals further into his body. He jerked before stilling and slowly she pulled them back out. Looking at her brother who sat beside the mans other side, watching his expressive eyes, she tilted her head slightly in wonder seeing his fingers brushing the dead mans face. Closing his eyes. "Why did you do that? We are just going to have to open them again to get to the eyeballs. "


"True, however..." Maniac paused glancing and the mans face twisted in agony and fear. A dark smile curled his lips and he layed down beside the dead man laying his head next to his. Uncaring of the mud the soaker his cloathes, skin, and hair. His breath hit the corpses ear. "by closing his eyes I hope it will keep his soul within his body. Allowing him to feel everything until its free. "


"Oh," Jester's mouth formed an o as she finally understood her brothers gesture. It quickly twisted into a smile as hauntingly dark as her brothers as she giggled in delight. "You really are sadistic. Is that why you favor the eye balls?"


"You know it. " Maniac purred looking up at his sister from under his eye lashes as pale fingers brushed the dead mans face. He was lost within the lingering excitement of a hunt no matter how dismal it was, the man had jumped off a cliff above and was halfway dead, and now was almost hoping a CCG member stumbled upon them. Alas, that didn't seem likely. Sighing as the man's skin finally turned cold under his fingers he sat up and waved toward the large bags they brought with them. "I guess its time to get down to business. Skinning knife please. "

He stated while pulling out random books before placing them on top of the stacks eventually bored and nothing else too do he laid down in on the isle

Stepping off the edge of the cliff Kitsune let out a laugh of delight as he fell, the fierce wind pulling his clothes and hair and the rain stinging his skin. The fall ended to soon for his liking and he landed in a crouch in the meadow below. Pouting he looked up at the cliff as he walked toward the two ghouls harvesting the body already there. It was a mess of cuts, holes, and broken bones. However it was still edible. "You going to share?"

Himiwari turned into the direction of the ghoul with a mask on. "If you are gonna offer every single ghoul you see a snack you are gonna get killed, for all you know, they are a group of kakujas, or members of the reapers." She said in an amused fashion.


"Makes me wonder, really, how are you still alive?" She taunted. Not knowing what she herself was saying, she wasn't normally like this....she probably wanted a good battle, that would make sense. Himi was someone that liked to let off adrenaline every once in a while. Despite that, looking for a fight probably wasn't the best idea. She putted her plastic bag down on top of a table.

Kazuichi snored loudly mumbling in his sleep dreaming about playing a game of chess with Sora. "Hey idiot you can't move twice that's cheating...." He rolled over falling out of his bed his blanket and pillow failing with him. He sat up scratching his head and rubbed his eyes looking at the digital clock on his shelf. "Hmmm I need my glasses." He reached onto the shelf and grabbed his glasses now able to see he needed to get ready. "Oh I should get moving." He opened the curtains and saw the downpour. "Although I could sleep in till the rain stops yeah that's sounds nice." He flopped back down onto the floor with his pillow and blanket going back to sleep he figured Kaishi would wake him up later. "An idiot like you will never beat me at chess."

Tremki burst out into laughter at the guy's response "You do realize, the only reason you're still alive is because I don't want blood getting all over my books." he said with a light smile as he glared intently at the man. It was pretty obvious Tremki was by now, getting agitated. "If you don't want a book, leave my store." with that he returned to packing the shelves with the books that had fell on the ground from earlier, he was getting hungry and he could feel his blood rushing. He was beginning to consider whether or not he really should eat this ghoul for dinner..

Maniac and Jester


Lazily glancing up from his rather boring task, the prey is so much more fun to eat alive, as he heard and smelled the arrival of the new ghoul Maniac smirked. Figured the low life would arrive sooner or later. Maniac and Fox shared a friendly hatred for eachother. They did eachother favors and looked out for one another when it benefited them but was constantly trading insults and fighting. Grabbing one of the air tight packs of newly carved flesh he tossed it toward the fox who instinctively caught it. "Is that suitable for you Scum? A pound of flesh for my usual charge?"


Giggling echoed from where Jester sat on the limb of a nearby tree she shifted. Crossing her legs she waved at the Fox when he noticed her. The two had many run in's with the local ghouls and was familiar with them all. Maniac had even made Fox's mask and now he as one of the ghouls that sometimes came to them instead of doing their own hunting. Less chance of getting caught that way." It's nice to see you Foxy. It's been a while since our last run in. I trust you learned you lesson from it."

Was it bad that she had practically been counting down the minutes until she needed to start being serious about life? Because that had become a habit that the girl had acquired since being hired. It had become a bit of a routine for her at this point. Even though babysitting Kazuichi wasn't officially a part of her job, it just kind of happened.


Stopping by a small cafe on her way to his place, Kaishi grabbed a cup of coffee; whether she would pour it on Kazuichi's head or not would be entirely up to him. She was tempted to get some for herself, but carrying two cups of coffee and an umbrella at the same time didn't seem like the greatest idea in the world; especially not when you add in the occasional pedestrian who was in a hurry to get somewhere dry.


Soon enough, she was at the investigator's front door; knocking on the wooden surface in an attempt to gain his attention. Or, at the very least, wake him up.

She said, it was actually close enough to her own name, Himiwari translates into sunflower, and daisies and sunflowers are rather similar. "No, reapers aren't my thing, I dislike Kakujas and more then half of their members are exactly that."


She looked at the shelves some more. "Nonetheless, it is a pleasure meeting you too. I feel, where the circumstances different, we would've been good friends long ago...."

A playful smirk curling his lips and crinkling his eyes Fox stepped up beside the corpse and ghoul. Kneeling beside the corpse he slipped the pack of flesh into the inner pocket of his vest and reaching out with his free hand ripped a small bit of flesh from the body. Nibbling on it he turned to Maniac as he answered the two. "Its alright. Though I thought a ghoul as powerful as you would have a better choice of food. Then again your taste was always lacking. " He teased before turning his attention toward Jester. He winced as their last meeting came to mind. The girl was powerful and in time would qualify as an SS rank. If she ever learned to be more sneaky. Absently rubbing his ribs in remembrance of the bruises that had covered them he nodded. "Of course little lady. Your trust has not been misplaced I assure you. "

Tremki let out a sigh as he saw the man finally leave. Ghouls like him had often annoyed Tremki, people who contradicted themselves were always the worst. "If only he knew.." he mumbled under his breath. Finally placing away the last book he made no comment about the strange guy after than. Turning his head over towards the two girls "I doubt any of us would have been friends a long time ago." he stated bluntly, and honestly in reference to 'Daisy's' last comment.

Wrapping him in a small hug before stepping away from his she picked up the already full bag as her brother worked on the other. "That is good to know. And to witness. I sincerely hope that the lesson hasn't just extended to me but to other's. Really just because you prefer the company of men doesn't mean you should be so vulgar around ladies. Agree?"


Lips curling into a sneer Maniac quickly cut out the last of the corpses organs before finishing with the remaining flesh and meat. Packing it away as his sister conversed with the animal he finished by the time they finished. Standing he grabbed the remaining now full bag before turning to his sister. "Are you done conversing with the animal yet dear sister? I would like to get out of the rain soon. And his stench."

Kio walked down the street. She had her mask on as normal, her case by her side. She sensed some people nearby, the presences did not feel human. She took a detour from her destination and decided to walk towards the direction she thought they were in. She stopped before a corner and over heard two ghouls talking and eating their prey. "Those sick bastards...." she said to herself under her breath. She did not get her case out, but instead her pistol. She was ready to attack them.

She nodded, understanding what the male ghoul meant. "I didn't say 'if circumstances were different' for no reason.......in a world such as this one, I don't think we can befriend each other even now," She said, on the prowl for a good book. Honestly? Right now she was just craving for a time wasting book like Harry Potter. Not very productive, but satisfying and entertaining.


But the male's comment made her think, would they be friends even if ghouls didn't exist? Or is fate always the same? And so the same people in two different worlds still find each other's company? Curious.


She answered Michi's question. "A retard that had it coming." She payed the necessary amount and said farewell.
