Fantasy To Reset the World (Accepting Again)

"Do I need to knock you out?" Everyle said as he squeezed her wrists together. He then said, "Slaves are tools we're trained, not taught. I never learned history, etiquette, or to do anything you can do. I was trained to kill and poison. We're beaten of we stop working or talk back. You had slaves that were supposed to act like they did, beaten until they did. So, how about I show you just how bad being a slave is. First off, no speaking unless spoken to."

Cat thought about what he had said for a moment. "That sounds nothing like my nannies. They liked playing with me," she said, stretching a little. She was growing terribly bored of the whole situation, and kind of wanted to go for a walk or something. That might clear her head of everything that cluttered it. Perhaps a nice stroll though the woods would help. Though it didn't look like that was going to happen anytime soon.

Everyle kicked her in the gut and said, "You shall not speak unless spoken to! Your nannies were beaten to be nice, maybe they liked you a little, maybe they were treated nicer than most of us, but we'really treated worse than cattle. To you I'meant expendable, aren't I? To everyone else outside your reality, that child over there is expendable."

"Umph," she said before collecting herself. "You definitely spoke to me. "I don't understand. Like, disposable? Like, to use once then get rid of? That doesn't make much sense, does it. Maybe if you were to get fired...?" she asked, though she didn't expect an answer. By now, most of the rope had been dissolved, though she didn't notice or exploit the opportunity. She was too far into her own world to notice

Everyle restrained her once more. Then he said, "That's how I was viewed once! When I was younger than the child. I was just a test. Slaves can be hired, we'recommend bought. You pay to own our lives and use them as you see fit. I watched my own kind get violated for the greed and lust of nobles like you."

Everyle hated people like her, too ignorant and careless to think for themselves, accept reality, or even look for themselves.

Everyle pulled out some steel wire and began wrapping it around Cat. Not even her bacteria could chew this if they wanted, and trying to escape would result in bleeding.

"Greed? Lust? You have got to be joking. I don't even have the opportunity to have my own opinion, never mind room for such thoughts," she protested before he got out the wire. "Oh no, you are not about to touch me with whatever that is!" She did the best she could to not have to deal with that, but he had already started, so there was nothing she could do about it. "And what would you have me do? I apparently know next to nothing about what you people do for a living, so enlighten me," she said, a bit sarcastically. She was not thrilled about the situation.

"We live in fear of the guards, the slavers beating us, we are whipped until we obey every last command, but for those who have freedom. We live in fear of falling into slavery, worried for our families that we can't feed, scared because disease runs rampant, we live in hell no matter what. I never enjoy killing mind you, I don't enjoy the thought of killing you, but I will and can do it without a second thought," Everyle said as he tightened the wire. "You can learn for yourself about this, because you belong to me now."

Now that Cat was tied up, Everyle dragged her to the camp fire and set her down while he began tending the fire.

"Belong? Excuse me I am not a possession!" she said as he dragged her. She glared at the fire as she considered what he had to say, not thrilled by the thought. "Isn't there something fun to do aeound here?" she asked. Anything would be better than just sitting there to be honest.

"I was of possession for most of my life, so those words are empty to me. And if you're so bored, just think about something."

Everyle then began pushing the branch deeper into the fire to flip things around. He kept a close eye on Cat as well. She was very bored, not like he should care.

"The annoying poison lady is right," said Keline. "Let's stop sitting around. Leave her here and we can finally go to Ironwrath." She got up and put some remaining scraps of deer meat in her bag. "Come on Everyle,"

Cat stared blankly into the fire. She didn't know if she was hoping that they left her or if they took her. If they left, she would be free to go back home. But if they took her, she wouldn't have to deal with the consequences for failure back in Viven. Either way, it was a lose-lose situation. At least she might be free from her questionable job. She wasn't fond of it anyway. Maybe she could practice medicine instead. That would be cool.

Mark struggles to pull down his bow as his hand shook. Well he did fire, but the shot missed her and landed near the fire, eventually burning up the wooden part of the arrow. "Ha... W-well, yeah, we should p-probably go", he said as he quickly unequipped his bow again. There's no reason to harm anyone for now, he followed the others whilst hiding on their backs.

(Funny character development here, I like it.)

"Well, once again, it might take a while. Lana has to recover from some deadly diseases and poison, she might as well have the luck of the gods," Everyle said with an unusual smile. Now that his hood was down, he was almost like a completely different person. "Besides, I have some decisions to make about how to make this noble look less suspicious."

Everyle stuck his stick farther into the fire to make it burn a little bit brighter.

Cat was irritably uncomfortable. "Would you mind taking these off or at least loosening them? It's rather uncomfortable," she commented. She was hoping that the sudden change in demeanor would facilitate her quandary. She was still debating whether or not to leave as soon as she could. There were cons to all decisions she could make at the moment. On the other hand, if she successfully killed her target, her grief might be spared. But if she failed once more...

"Nice try," Everyle commented as he took the stick out with the fire burning madly. He had seen this trick before, quite a lot actually. It was nothing new to him. Besides, he had his allies to think about too. He had been sent to assassinate several nobles before under the orders of his masters. Anything but the diseases that this girl tried on him would be nothing new to him, or so he would think. However, transporting her would be the issue here. "Look, your life is in my hands. So if you want to die here and now, I'll grant that request, it will just be extraordinarily painful. At any rate, you might want to not struggle, steel wire can cut through flesh quite easily and it's very hard to break with force alone."

Poking the fire one last time, Everyle then set the stick down and took a spare piece of deer meat. He then set it on the ground right next to Cat's mouth so she could eat it if she wanted to. "Don't even complain about the dirt, you have things thousands of times worse crawling inside you."

She looked at him cooly. "I know what's inside of me. I organize my contents all the time. As for the meat, how am I supposed to eat it without the use of my hands?" she inquired. Shw debated whether or not to just cut the wires with stomach bile. It wouldn't be hard to obtain, and the acid would easily corrode through the wire. But now didn't seem like the best time to try that.

(Not like stomach bile can break steel wire, at least not a human's. If her's can, she must be part shark!)

"Just bend your neck, use your mouth to pick it up and eat it," Everyle sighed. "Whatever happens, I'm not feeding you." He then began to check his inventory as he looked at his array of poisons and cures. "You know, if Lana survives, you won't be able to use the same diseases on her." He grinned as he took a look at one of his favorite paralysis poisons. Then he began checking his blades and looking for damage, except for the now ruined and quite weak throwing knife which he tossed aside. Then he smiled when he discovered a potent sleep medicine. He could get some sleep if he drugged his little noble prisoner with this. However, now wasn't the time where she needed to sleep.

"Ew," was all she responded. She wasn't about to eat like a literal dog. The more she thought about it, the more the man reminded her of her dad. Except instead of harsh metaphorical oppression with physicality to reinforce, it was the other way around. Oh well. This would be fine for a day or two. Instead of that, she decided to close her eyes and reflect on the day. Soon, she was pretty much knocked out. It had been a long and stressful day for Cat.

(Time skipping as per request sorry about not being around lately >_< )

Three days later - Outside the mountain entrance to Ironwrath

The Iron Wrath capital was built deep inside of a mine. There seemingly was no front gate however, the destroyed remains of a old dwarven one still laid at the downward entrance. There were many mine cart tracks that led to smaller buildings outside near where the group was. Carts pushed by various slave races contained many different types of minerals and gems which were quickly unloaded and pushed back downward by the same two slaves.

Lana looked at the sight with some disgust as she leapt off the drivers part of the carriage and opened the door banging upon it. "Raise and Shine, we've arrive at the city of Shitheads." Lana's personality had been slowly changing and had been talking to herself quite often seemingly talking to the sarcastic spirit inside of her.

Lana looked at the others after they stepped out, "Be careful my friends, this place is one of harshest on those of us with non human features but, they won't actively take you off the street as far as I know. Be careful I am going to locate and scout the city for our.... Friend..." She said before walking towards the entrance and down the cart with her newly stitched up hood from a deer's skin.

The city inside the mountain was large and built mostly towards industry and manufacturing. The mining operations however were the most obvious, as the tracks led from outside the city to the off loading sections all the way deep inside the mountain fueled by slave labor. Many guards watched the tracks and their most obvious weapon was a whip cracking through the air to snap upon a slave when they weakened or tired.

The City of Shitheads, I like it. "Thought you would Grim..." Lana said to herself as she disappeared into the depths of this mountain city.

"Did one of my insanity poisons touch you?" Everyle asked to Lana who was talking to herself. "Or did someone shove a bar of lead up your arse when you were young?" Everyle had finished poisoning his weapons and even made a few makeshift smokebombs in cse things were to get too heated. He had considered a few options of them, a bunch of lower races with a noble to get into the city. One was to have the noble dress like a lower ranked merchant and have them blend in, or label them as her slaves. "Anyhow, how do you propose we enter the city of targets, because I know I'm doing a lot of killing here."

"Careful Everyle," said Keline. "Hide your weapons for now, you don't want to make people suspicious." Though unfortunately, Keline feared they were already suspicious. She had noticed some humans staring weirdly at them out of the corner of their eyes. "Anyway, I'm not sure I like the idea of Cat dressing as a noble." She still didn't trust the poison woman. She might not be so evil, ok, but she was silly and not to be trusted with such a responsibility. "I think we should all dress up as some lower class merchants. We might have to knock some people out, and we should be fine."

Cat was still vaguely ticked that she was there, especially since she was at the mercy of Everyle. With a sigh, she looked around; it was one of the few pleasures she still had while forcibly traveling with these people. She had, of course, been here before. There were too many slaves for her to not have been called at least once during her career. Not that she was going to mention that. All notions of her assigned job had proved to have serious backlash for her, so she didn't want to talk about it. Not that she wanted to in the first place. Oh well. She wasn't going to wear such horrid clothing without a fight, so she silently willed them to not make her do such an atrocity. She would probably die if anyone she knew saw her like that.

Mark looked at the others, dressing up somebody as a noble could be good, dressing up as lower class merchants is also a good idea. "B-But if we do knock some people out, maybe people will b-become more aggravated to us?" he said, fiddling with his fingers as he stared at the other people staring at them.

Sierra arrived in the mountain entrance of Iron Wrath, she personally volunteered in checking out the "Magic" of the city. She imagined the place to be filled with barbarians and warriors who like to drink, but seeing as it is now, it's just a bit more different from what she had seen. A guard accompanied her and a carriage will pick her up in a few hours, Iron Wrath isn't really a great place to stay, and it's slavery system was quite different to Andor. "Hm... No where is it..." she said, looking around as she spot a peculiar group. People were staring at them strangely, but it wasn't that much of a big deal to her, an elf and a few others. Maybe they're slaves? She didn't really know.

She approached the group to give them a head's up. "Um... Excuse me, the people around seems to be interested. Are you perhaps looking for someone?" she asked, as her guard slowly comes to her side, eyeing the group.

Cat looked up, her eyes suddenly full of life again. "Oh finally!" she exclaimed, unable to hide her relief. She was unsure whether to ask the woman to help her leave the group or to claim that they were her slaves. It made her uncomfortable to think she had slaves, but she supposed that if her nannies were, then she could deal with the concept. Besides, she didn't want to seem totally helpless to them. But if the woman couldn't help her, or they ended up alone again, Everyle would be very angry with her. "I am here to speak with the king of this city. I have business to attend to," she said decisively and with her noble grandeur she grew up to possess. Regardless, there was no going back now. "And don't mind them, they're slaves," she added quickly. "We just arrived from Viven," she explained, hoping her vague explanation was good enough.

The girl crossed her arms as she listened to the woman's explanation. It seemed to be a bit off to her, but taking risks isn't an option around this place. "Ah I see." she nodded, as she placed a smile on her face. "Well, I'll be going for now, I shouldn't waste time with someone of higher authorities." she said, bowing before looking back to her guard. "Let's go". Gesturing for him to move, they both wound up walking away. Sierra wasn't quite educated with the other countries, getting lost would definitely be something to her. But fortunately, she was given one of the latest maps for navigation. "Over there, that seems like a good place for magic." said Sierra as she pointed towards a purple tent, her guard nodded as both of them approached the inside of the tent...
