[div class=fyuriwrapper][div class=imageheader][div class=header]Thunder Bay Pack[/div][/div][div class=box1] Thunder Bay, Ontario a land deeply tied to it's people and it's legends that have been past down through it's ancestors. Home of the Ojibwa native people, while the years may have not been kind, one thing has kept them together. The Pack. The blood of wolves have ran through the Ojibwa peoples veins since the beginning of time, and they have used their powers to protect their people. When the English men in their ships arrived they hunted the pack to near extinction for their furs, till the chief took a stand. While the men slept they killed all the fur traders, and ended the threat on his tribe. When the English men returned for their furs they were greeted by the tribe surrounding them and their hunters dead, that day a treaty was made outlawing the hunting of wolves and to this day that treaty stands protecting the tribe ever since.
The majority of the pack lives on the Fort William First Nation Reserve which can be found north of Loch Lomond, where the pack is free run and hunt as they please. While some pack members live in the town and return for pack meetings and to uphold their duties. Most of the kids develop into their wolf year by their 12th or 13th birthday. Some sooner some later, but usually around that time. Ojibwa people have had this ability since they earliest stories have been told, and only those of the tribe have been able to inherit the wolf inside them. But through out the years, members have left the tribe and mated with humans, leaving their pack life behind them. Never have these children inherited the wolf. Until now.
Two moons ago the forests have been flooded with new wolves , the first was a young blonde woman. She was scared and running through the forest, the pack picked up on her scent immediately and tracked her down. Once she summited to the Alpha they were able to communicate and calm her down and get her to shift back into her human form. From there she told us her story and how her great grandmother was a Ojibwa native, never has the wolf awoken inside of someone like this before. Ever since then they have been finding new wolves nearly everyday, all with the same but different story. All different ages, different backgrounds, with only one thing in common their Ojibwa decent.
