Futuristic Those That are Hunted

Tucker shrugged at Kytha and said with a grin, "Anything, for m'lady." Seeing Kytha beginning to hyperventilate, Tucker's eyes widened and he quickly picked her up bridal style before he began jogging down the hallway and shouting out, "Hey, I need some help here! Guards!" While Tucker wouldn't be surprised if the guards thought he'd caused this, he still needed to get help for Kytha. He wasn't about to let his new cell mate pass out on him.

Tucker skidded to a halt when the guard from earlier appeared. Great, this guy again. Sighing, and knowing he had no choice at the moment, Tucker said, "I'm not sure. She started hyperventilating, her pupils dilated, and she wouldn't stop muttering 'help'. I have no idea what's wrong with her." Tucker looked down at Kytha with growing concern, completely unsure of what was going on with her, but wanting to help her.

(we should probably wait for Shewolf since I'm not sure if Kytha is still conscious or not)

(HOME AT LAST!!!)

"Oh, I'd gladly take your place in the kitchen. However, there might not be much food left." he smirked and pushed him playfully aside. Then Amelie mentioned Toron. "If that pipsqueak wasn't Kytha's brother I would have long snapped his neck." he growled a bit. He didn't like the young gifted, not even a bit. He despised his ignorance and foolish bravery. "I agree about his punishment being longer. Even better - permanent..." he murmured and crossed his arms. "So what am I supposed to do now... general?" he asked and looked towards Amelie, a small smile on his face. He had no idea how to call her in public. He only knew she was a superior but nothing more.

Xander chuckled at Vulcan's banter and then let himself be pushed aside in the spur of the moment. Glancing back at Amelie when she mentioned him talking to Kytha, Xander frowned, but didn't complain. "Awesome, I get to go make friends with the rebellion leader. You know, I'm curious. Who was her new cell mate during her temporary leave?" Xander would do as he was told, but he still couldn't help but feel curious about this temporary cell mate of Kytha's. It never ceased to amaze Xander just how many different kinds of gifts there were out there.

(Only thing I don't get is why you changed Barry's name in the first place. It sounds kinda cute/fitting for such a slender/lovable/shy person/character as him.)

(But, but, his personality isn't Barry's. It's Wally's, you know, KidFlash. Hence the flirty side of him)

(Wally/KidFlash isn't in The Flash TV show. He's from the comics and the cartoon TV show, Young Justice League. Currently in the live action TV show, KidFlash isn't even in existence yet.)

Myths stared at the man her vision very blurry. "My dragon." She panted coughing out the next words. "Closed space." *cough* *cough* "he's scared." She mumbled. "Get him out." Her body trembled as her breathing became so fast it was hard to stay awake.

Toron saw Kytha almost passing out and gasped. He ran up to her and grabbed her hands. "Kytha! Kytha. C'mon sis, your strong stay awake!"

(Where the heck did Toron come from? xD Whatever, we'll roll with it)

Tucker gritted his teeth, finding all of this situation to be both frustrating and annoying. If this girl had some empathy link with a pet they'd taken away, well, there wasn't much that could be done for her. Was it possible to sever the link? While that probably wouldn't be desired, at least Kytha wouldn't be suffering anymore like this. Surprised when some guy randomly rushed forward and took Kytha's hands, Tucker stumbled a few feet backwards, taking Kytha with him since he was still holding her. Catching himself before he fell down, Tucker then raised an eyebrow at Toron and asked him, "Who the heck are you?" Hearing the mention of some Ms. Glass person, Tucker said dismissively, "Yeah, whatever, guard. Just get us some d*mn help." In the midst of everything happening, it had still gone over Tucker's head that a dragon had been mentioned as Kytha's pet.

Kytha daily looked around her. "W-where?" She rasped. "If she sees me she'll understand." Oh how it hurt her physically to say all that.

Toron saw the man falling and panicked but he righted himself. He walked over looking at the guy. "Toron. Sister of a rebellion leader," he motioned to kytha. "Son of a traitor." He turned to the agent. "Where is she. When I find that witch I swear to god."

Tucker eyed Toron suspiciously and said, "Uh, earth to Toron. We're in purgatory for Gifteds. If you attack some Gifted Agent, then you're going to be put down, no questions asked. I've seen it happen plenty of times here. Also, what's with the medieval introduction there?" Chuckling, Tucker added, "And to think I was the oddball here. Anyhow, my name's Tucker."

Amelie shrugged not really knowing. She kind off just gave a random cell number that she knew didn't have two people in it and was away from Toron. She walked over to her desk and flipped through some papers. "Ah here it is. His name is Tucker and he has been here for quite a while." She read his paper more and paled a little. "Of course I put her with him. Tucker has a the gift of speed. Because of it he could also do other things. We had to put a special suit kn him to restrict his ability to do that." She read the file some more. "And he doesn't have another cell mate because they always end up trying to help him tamper with the suit. Well great." She mumbled the last part. "We should probably move her soon. At least Tucker knows what happens when you mess up so he won't exactly try anything stupid."

Xander raised an eyebrow at this information, finding all of it to be rather interesting. It amazed him that someone had the gift of speed, which would be insanely helpful considering you could get anywhere in a flash. Hearing that he often convinced his cell mates to tamper with the suit, Xander frowned and decided he should probably hurry up and separate the pair before anything happened in that case. Realizing with a start that he had no idea what cell the pair were in, Xander asked Amelie, "One last question, what cell is Tucker in?"

"He is in cell 123. Please be cautious Xander. We don't need you out of commission again after you just recovered." She put the papers down and walked back over to them. Despite how she acted she did care for his safety, well more than she does with any normal agent. Being at her position she had to think of the safety of everyone here, which didn't always work out well. Of course she worried about Vulcan's the most which is why she wasn't going to send him to do it. No, she wasn't going to let Kytha or Toron's words get to him like that again. She was not going to lose him and if she did she didn't know what she would do ton those two.

Xander grinned at Amelie and said cheerfully, "Don't worry about me, boss. I've got this!" He then turned on his heel and exited the office, now making his way out of the bureau and across the plaza to where all of the cells were. Upon entering the prison area, Xander froze, as he heard some commotion nearby. Frowning at this, Xander briskly walked in the direction of the commotion and was surprised to find the new agent standing with a group of gifteds...and not just any gifteds. Toron was standing near some unknown gifted, though Xander assumed it was Tucker based off of the odd suit he was wearing, and Tucker appeared to be holding Kytha. Upon closer in inspection, Xander was able to deduce that Kytha seemed to be terrified out of her mind, which was odd considering how hard it was for her to get scared in such a manner. Walking up to the group, Xander first addressed the agent and asked him, "What's going on here, agent?" Xander needed to figure out what the heck was going on so he could resolve this and get Tucker away from everyone.

Xander's frown depend at this, but he decided that for now they should get Kytha taken care of. Not wanting Tucker to be around the other gifteds in case he tried to get them to feel sympathetic for him or something, Xander said to Richter, "Can you take Kytha to A-Ms. Glass? She'll know how to handle this situation and I'm sure this will be more important than most other things at the moment..." Xander trailed off, as he hoped that they wouldn't be interrupting Amelie and Vulcan trying to talk about anything. Oh well, it couldn't be helped in this moment. Shifting his focus to Tucker now, Xander said, "Tucker, you need to get back in your cell for now."

Tucker listened to everything the new guard said, not sure who this Ms. Glass person was that they kept slipping up on her name. Hearing the guard telling the other one to take Kytha, Tucker involuntarily took a step back. While he barely knew the girl, he already felt protective of her and didn't want any unnecessary harm to come to her. Frowning when he was ordered to go back to his cell, Tucker said, "H*ll no, I'm not going back to my cell. Kytha needs help and I'm going to ensure that she gets it." Plus, this was the most exciting thing that had happened to Tucker in years. Narrowing his eyes at the insolent Gifted, Xander said, "That's not an option, Tucker. Hand over the girl, now."

Myths vision began fading and she gripped onto Tucker's shirt. "Help." Her breath slowed but was still unusually fast. Her body still spas need and she began having tears run down her face. "It hurts. The walls. Theyre so close..." She managed to mumble

Tucker snapped at the tougher looking guard, saying, "Yeah, that's what they all say. Then I never see whoever I'm protecting again." Pausing for a moment, Tucker added, "Just let me come with you guys. I want to see that she's actually taken care of." Not liking this idea at all, especially considering the guy was usually isolated by himself, Xander decided to call it up. Then he realized that he had no way of contacting Amelie directly. Getting an idea, Xander summoned his little phoenix companion and mentally told it to go and get Amelie. Chirping happily, the phoenix flew out of the prison area and straight to the window to Amelie's office. Landing on the windowsill, it began to peck at the window, trying to get Amelie's attention.

Back in the prison area, Tucker became even more suspicious of Xander when he saw him summon a fiery bird, a phoenix so it seemed. Curious now, Tucker asked him, "What's your gift?" Deciding against helping past rebels and whoever this dangerous Tucker kid was, Xander said, "I'm not going to tell you that." Tucker sighed and then said, "Fine. Now, are you helping Kytha, or no?" Raising an eyebrow at Tucker, Xander replied, "I sent my companion to get Ms. Glass. She'll decide what to do next." Tucker found this all to be highly frustrating. Where was the medical bay? Why weren't they helping Kytha out now?

Looking down at Kytha, Tucker become increasingly worried and whispered to her, "Don't worry, I'll get you help." He wanted to wipe the tears off her face, but couldn't since he was holding her. Feeling her grip on his shirt twisted Tucker's heart, he didn't want to see another person get hurt or worse in his presence. Looking up sharply, Tucker yelled at the two imbecile guards, "Where is the medical bay here!" Xander was surprised by the sudden outburst and replied, "I-I don't know. I just got here yesterday." Tucker gritted his teeth in frustration, these two were absolutely useless.

Hearing a pecking noise Amelie turned turned her window. She was surprised to say the least. ~What is his phoenix doing here?~ She opened the window and let the creature in. (I'm assuming the response is telepathy or something like that.) Amelie groaned once she got the message. "Can this girl stop being a nuisance. Tell Xander to send her to the medical bay and have Alpha take a look at her. It's the building that Kytha and Vulcan had their fight in front of." Amelie didn't think it was anything physical since Alpha healed her wounds the day before but you never know.

The phoenix chirped happily at Amelie and then flew back outside of the office, heading back down to the prison area and landing on Xander's shoulder. Surprised by the sudden appearance, Xander was distracted from his interaction with Tucker and nodded at the phoenix before dismissing it into a small cloud of ash. Brushing the ashes off his shoulder, Xander then said to Tucker, "Follow me, I know where the medical bay is now." Turning on his heel, Xander began heading outside, with Tucker eagerly following after him. As they moved along, Tucker looked down at Kytha and said softly, "I'm getting you help now, don't worry, Kytha."

((Who would want to interact with Hugo he's in the breakfast hall right now))
