This Can't Be Happening…(Saphire and Paint

She nodded and laid her head on his chest, her blood staining his clothes. She whimpered and cuddled into him. She closed her eyes and whimpered again. She still was confused by all the feeling flooding her senses. He is a good teacher. He is smart, kind, sweet, handsome. Wait what?

((I love that line, Wait What? it's funny every time.))

Sean walked carefully, but quickly, towards the principals office. It was time that the school stopped looking the wrong way. There were serious problems, and they had been discussing getting better textbooks! A tiny not-growl, but he opened the door with his foot, "Ms. Dissonance, I have something you need to know about Montoya. And I'm not letting you get away with acting like you don't see the problem, so don't try."

She snuggled into him. She was afraid to look up, she was afraid that she would see Montoya and he would hit her again. She buried her face into his chest and cried.

"Very well, Mr. McDougal. You've been recommended by our professor, Dr. Benkyou, so I'll listen." She wouldn't necessarily react, but she'd listen. The black-haired woman turned around, revealing green eyes, only to see a student bleeding in his arms. And the cold, almost angry look in his eyes was... surprising to say the least. "What's the problem? Miss.... katheryn, was it?" The note had said it had to do with a Katheryn, so she assumed it was her.

She was too scared to answer. She just turned her head towards her principal and whimpered. She snuggled into Sean. "I…I get bullied…" she stammered. She then buried her face in Seans chest again.

"Bullied? By Montoya?" Sean nodded, and she frowned. Stepping into her seat she asked, almost looking unconcerned with it. "Well... how strange. I've not heard a word of this from anyone. And yet the evidence is staring me in the face."

"It appears everyone's scared of him." Sean replied, gently sitting Katheryn down on a seat. "I, however, am not. He's a brat who thinks he can control people only through fear."

Kathryn grasped his hand tightly. She looked up at him. He had protected her. She needed him now, and she trusted him. She didn't want him to go. She held onto his hand and leaned her head on it to reassure her.

Sean left his hand in Katheryn's, looking to the Principal as she spoke again... "Fear is a powerful motivator. But not enough to quell the Blue Dragon, I see." A smirk, yes... he was exactly what she had hoped for. "Fine, I'll expel him... this much damage cannot be accepted, and see what I can do to get him off the streets. I'm trusting you, Sean, with our school."

A solemn nod, "I figured as much. I love my students, and will help them as best as I can." sure, he'd only met them today, but still... they were the future, important to the world and to the school.

She hugged his hand and didn't want to let go. He was her protection now and she was afraid if he left for even one moment she would get hurt.

"We're at an agreement then." A smirk from the, admittedly beautiful, lady principal, "By the way... what's with that?" A lazy point at the girl, Sean looking down, blushing, and managing to not sputter only by not saying anything. "Ah well, get her cleaned up and home, I leave the parents to you." A wave goodby, as close to a dismissal as he was likely to get, and he gently moved to pick her up again.

Shelet him pick her up and cuddled into him. As soon as they were out if the office she kissed him in the lips and said "Thank you…" and then fell asleep in his arms. She slept soundly, curled up like a baby.

Now easily a flushed, bright red he just nodded, carrying her over to the nurse's office quickly. There he'd be able to disinfect her wounds, so that the blood wasn't as bad on her, and so that she didn't get infected. She needed more food, though... this was far too light for someone her age to be. Maybe his suggestion would help, maybe not... but still... he remained worried for her. "We'll get you fixed up soon, Katheryn."

Kathryn cuddled his hand as she slept and soon woke. She looked up at him and stroked his hand. She held it gently as the nurse fussed over her. She laid her head ok his hand again. She had figured out what the feelings were. She was in love.

Well, Sean just stood there awkwardly, blushing the entire time, as Ms. Florence fussed, cleaned, dressed, and otherwise treated Kathryn's wounds. Once they were finished he asked her, sounding almost confused, "Umm... you're going to ride home with me, ok? And... umm... where do you live?"

She smiled. "I live on 768 East Apple Valley Rd." She stood and wobbled a bit as she walked. She walked over to him, still holding his hand. She walked out of the room with him and kissed him on the lips again.

Sean was still not entirely sure what had caused the sudden change in her, from timid to calm and happy, but was nevertheless happy for her. Of course, her kissing him on the lips made him red, much like a tomato, again... and he reacted the only way he could think of. He silently nodded and led her out the door towards his car, a simple one that most people would overlook. "So, that's actually pretty close to mine. I'll be ready every day to help you get to school, until we're certain Montoya won't bother you again."

She nodded and gripped his shirt. Honestly she didn't know what had caused the change either, but she had figured out what the feelings were. She was in love, but she was so confused and didn't understand it.

Sean gently led her to the passenger side door, opening it like a gentleman and gesturing for her to go inside. Though his cheeks were still a bit pink he was calming down, able to take in the bright day with a few wandering clouds here and there. It really had become a beautiful day, just as he'd thought. "I hope you'll let go of me long enough to get your seatbelt on."

She smiled and got in. She clicked her seatbelt and smiled at him. She let go of his hand and sighed. She was in live with this man but how could she tell him that? He would most likely hurt her mentally, and she would be broken beyond repair. She had been through too much…so she decided not to tell him though the urge burned within her.

Sean quickly moved to sit in the driver's side, seatbelt on and making sure that the inside of the cab wasn't too hot. A satisfied nod, the weather truly was beautiful wasn't it? And she probably hadn't noticed, had his cute little student. A soft groan, he'd thought of her as cute again, and he started the car. The radio was next to him, but off, and he said almost offhandedly "You can put on some music if you want."

She turned on the radio and said "Thank you." Some of her favorite music came on, by the band Black Veil Brides. It was her favorite song, Rebel Love Song. (I couldn't help it. It's my favorite too.) "~ Never gonna' change my mind, we can leave it all behind, nothin's gonna' stop us. No not this time. So take your hand in mine, It's ours tonight. This is a rebel love song!~" she sang softly.

A small exhale, she had a beautiful voice and it melded with the music well. A talent of hers, he supposed, and it helped his shoulders to slightly loosen. Some people, at least, could make real music. And she seemed so happy, slowly a smile that wasn't bright, gentle, soft, but truly timid was seen. At least she cared about something enough to want to do it... some people when bullied never did, they hid themselves completely from everything. "Anytime, Katheryn."

She smiled at him and kept singing tothe song softly, her melodic voice perfectly matching that of the singer. She held her hands together and kept singing until te song ended and another came on, Knives and Pens.

Sean continued to drive, now slightly more relaxed, until they reached her home. He didn't have anything to say, after all, but... it was nice to have someone talking to him. Most people... tended to ignore him because of his happy-go-lucky attitude. Even though said attitude was formed when he stopped doing... some things. "We're here, I think..." It was the right road, at least.

She smiled. "This is it." She pointed to a cute little blue house. She saw her little twin siblings playing in the front yard. Ivy and Katrina. She smiled at him and said "Thank you for driving me home." She looked at her sisters and smiled wider. She loved them more then anything.
