An enchanted full body garment( the orange cloth seen in the picture). The garment is very soft and provides good insulation. The enchantment upon it allows it never wear from use and to block out all weather impairments to the one wearing it. This garment is what has allowed Fervus to travel so extensively throughout all sorts of weather and terrain. The garment itself is what Fervus wore when he was still in his order of priests, and the priesthood let Fervus keep this special cloth as a parting gift. The garment also has a large hood that Fervus almost always wears. The garment reaches down up to Fervus’s feet.


Two Life Bands - These two strips of cloth hang around Fervus’s neck crossed on top of each other. These life bands allow Fervus to maintain a calm mind at all times so that he can reliably use his magical abilities. The bands also used to provide Fervus with a source of energy and were a vibrant red in color, but the energy has long since been used up and the bands have dulled considerably. Fervus uses his own energy now, and its toll is signified by the ends of his dark blue hair becoming a bleak gray color. Fervus doesn't actually really need these anymore, but he likes to keep them as they have experienced all the journeys he has as well. Placing this on another person will also calm them as well.


A bag - This is a normal bag of rough leather that holds Fervus's very few belongings: A tiny bit of healing salve to prevent cuts from getting infections and bleeding, a magical orb that can shoot out sparks to start campfires, a detailed, wrinkled map, a journal, a feather pen and ink, and a tightly coiled strip of rope.

Fervus used to be a priest of Vel'ath, but has long since severed his connection to the priesthood and to Vel'ath, although he still respects Vel'ath as a god, he just doesn't revere the being now as he believes he is not worthy to do so.


Strengths:


Martial arts
- Fervus has developed his own unique style of fighting that is incredibly similar to Ba Ji Quan which utilizes his magic to the fullest extent. Fervus is also incredibly skilled at this fighting style, which he has been perfecting and practicing since he has barely five. He has also had to use this to defend his life and to survive on countless occasions, so his experience is rich and his technique plentiful. He is considered to be one of the most renowned hand to hand fighters known around. Fervus calls his martial arts, which is unique only to him due to his special abilities. This martial arts style is called Guidance. He has had one apprentice in this fighting style, who could not see life lines but was skilled enough to know which areas held the most vital life lines to strike. This apprentice popularized this fighting style, but none could ever fully utilize it due to it requiring Vel'ath's blessed eyes. This martial arts style is incredibly lethal and powerful, and most assassins would dream to be able to utilize this fighting method. By using his blessed eyes, Fervus tactically strikes bundles of life lines and disables them with a single touch, completely incapacitating an opponent within three to five swift strikes if they are not prepared. Seeing life lines also lets Fervus predict how an opponent will move just before they actually move by watching how the opponent's energy circulates and gathers. This fighting style employs a defensive stance that focuses on counterstrikes instead of offense. However, this stance allows for quick and continuous blows with extreme accuracy due to the fact that the stance causes Fervus to gain incredible upper body balance in exchange for not using his lower body for offense. Anybody fortunate enough to have witnessed this style will say that it looks like Fervus is guiding his opponents, gracefully dodging their punches and lightly applying pressure to arms to sway and guide them away from Fervus. The Ba Ji Quan similarities of this fighting style comes from their shared method of inflicting damage. Ba Ji Quan aims for lethal spots with elbow strikes and quick blows through rapid acceleration of the arms through lower body propulsion. The explosive nature of the blows also allows causes Fervus's attacks to do internal damage even without the use of his life line bending ability. The force of the blow is "injected" as one could say within a target's body, causing severe internal damage to those directly affected. Fervus's thirty two years of intense training and combat experience leaves the Guidance style of fighting to be one of the most feared and famed throughout the entire land.


Life Line Control- This was an ability granted to Fervus by Vel'ath due to his service to Vel'ath from a young age as a priest. All living creatures are composed of countless thin lines of life that intertwine and structure themselves to form the creature into a coherent whole. Each of these lines carry a part of the creatures' total life force. Fervus has the unique ability to see these life lines and to tamper with them. Fervus's eyes will glow a bright green when he is looking at life lines, and these special eyes are called Velath's eyes. However, Fervus can only directly affect his own life lines and not those of tohers, but this comes in incredibly handy with his fighting style due to how he uses his life lines. Fervus can alter the structures of his life lines or strengthen them considerably, causing his body to become like steel. By distributing extra energy throughout all of his lifelines, Fervus can make his entire body much stronger and durable. Fervus has also completely mastered distributing energy, and he can take out the energy he distributed elswhere and immediately move it and condense it towards a single spot to strengthen a part of his body immensely. Empowering life lines also boosts Fervus's physical abilities and can provide short bursts of speed if he fluxes the life lines of the area of his body he wants to move with additional power. Altering life lines also technically allows Fervus to heal himself and others by altering or repairing damaged life lines, but Fervus cannot perform any healing at all. By striking another living being, he introduces his foreign life signatures, causing the life lines of the area struck to immediately attempt to reject Fervus's own energy. This causes internal damage and strain, and often Fervus inflicts more internal damage than he does external. Life lines that spend considerable effort rejecting foreign energy will cause muscle and tissue surrounding the life lines to contract and freeze over, possibly tearing them if the muscles or tissue had suffered damage before the energy was introduced. Fervus's fighting style complements this because it naturally inflicts internal damage, which by extension introduces Fervus's life line energy deep within a target. A normal practitioner of this magic would be able to convert their own life line signature and heal others, but Fervus cannot. He can only invade, and not restore. His energy does not have killing intent, it is simply rejected. One could say that the victim of Fervus’s attack is killing himself. By extension, Fervus’s life line invading blows are near useless to a decently competent life line magic user(albeit Fervus doesn't know anyone blessed with the ability to have the power to alter life lines) who can accept Fervus's energy or to the dark beasts which have no life line or incredibly strange and twisted ones that are not affected. It can be noted though that Fervus’s life line invading punches do deal more damage upon the Dusk, but it does not inflict internal damage due to Fervus’s energy being neither rejected nor being capable of affecting the beasts internally because of their unique body structure.


Survival Skills - Fervus has lived many years wandering around with the bare minimum of supplies. He can scrape by with almost anything and can live in almost any environment. These survival skills also apply to his method of thinking and speech. He can barter and trade with a rational and efficient mind and persuade people with practiced skill.


Knowledge - Fervus possesses considerable knowledge of the world due to his travels and through his natural intellect and high education as a noble.


Weaknesses:


Fervus fears death, be it from his enemy or friend. Thus he never uses lethal strikes and only seeks to incapacitate. The very sight of death revolts and frights Fervus.


Fervus cannot stand harm being inflicted pointlessly and will try to intervene in any scenario where needless conflict arises.


Fervus doesn't particularly like fighting, he doesn't fear a fight, but he does not desire to be in one if possible.


Fervus fears himself, as he himself cannot understand why he cannot restore others and is thus hesitant to use what he considers an unsightly power.


Fervus has incredible guilt as to how his apprentice turned out, and believes a failure in his own character is to be of blame.


History/Notable achievements:


Fervus was born into a noble family, hence his family name of El Mortreal being present. He was raised as a noble would be, in luxury and brought up with a high education and knowledge of things around him. However, Fervus did not become a lord or a landowner and decided to join an order of priests that worshipped and venerated Vel'ath at the age of fifteen. The order emphasized perfection of the body, as the body housed the life, dexterity, and vitality that Vel'ath had so carefully crafted upon man. To do this, the order's priests underwent rigorous mental and physical conditioning every day as a part of their daily routine. Offerings, fastings, and lengthy prayer were also all present within the rigorous day to day life of the priesthood. Most of the priests there practiced the unique magic of life line magic, which complemented their lifestyles well as physical and mental perfection was needed to develop and perform life line magics. Fervus developed his own life line magic when he was twenty, and the elder priests immediately knew he was an irregular. Fervus was excellent and had immense talent in using life binding magic upon himself, as Fervus's mental and physical states were both immaculate and powerful, but Fervus could not perform a core part of life line magic: Healing. He could not heal anything. Fervus's energies were rejected by any living thing that could not adapt to it, and, no matter how hard Fervus tried, he could not willfully change his life line energy. Fervus was called an abomination by some, but he was still largely respected due to his dutiful service to Vel'ath and his great fortitude of mental and physical strength. However, Fervus quit the priesthood when he was twenty five. He had begun to think of himself as an irregular being not fit to serve Vel'ath. His body could never restore others, and Fervus believed that he himself was an abomination that was not worthy of bowing to Vel'ath. The priesthood let him keep his vestal garments as a sign of respect, and Fervus began his life as a wandering adventurer. He traveled for the next eleven years of his life, earning great fame as a phantom adventurer and vigilante that put down many notorious criminals and traversed through many exotic and unknown lands.


Fervus has also entered a fighting tournament where the most skilled of fighters entered. He followed the rules of no magic: He sealed off his Eyes of Vel'ath and the ability to alter life lines. With only his original fighting style, Fervus sparred with the best of the best. Out of the almost three hundred masters each representing a fighting style or fist, Fervus managed to reach the quarter finals. Fervus withdrew from the tournament at that point so that he would not win, as he believed that there was no point in winning the tournmanet as he had only come to experience the great skills of others. Other skilled fighters remarked that he would have gone to the finals to face the legendary tiger fist, and many have speculated as to who would have won. The tiger fist himself was said to have killed one hundred trained asassins with his bare hands, and had produced several apprentices that served in the King's Guard. It was remarked that as long as Fervus could firmly maintain both legs on the ground and therefore his upper body balance, he had quite a chance at winning the finals.


Possibly Fervus's greatest achievement that spread his fame as a near legend.


Freeing a city - This city had faced a coup. and ruthless and lawless bandits that organized themselves into militias overthrew the standing army and nobility. They instituted a merciless law and wreaked havoc upon all of the nobles, many of whom were innocent people. Their atrocities culminated past a line when they created a makeshift arena where all the nobles were to kill each other off, many of whom were members of family. Fervus could not stand this and stepped into the arena and proposed a deal: He would fight anything that the bandits threw at him for the rest of the entire day, which equated to thirteen hours of continuous fighting. Of course, the low life group agreed. They sent every sort of atrocity and terror imaginable to Fervus, from trained mercenaries to massive chimerical beasts of epic proportion. This happened during a time when nobody knew Fervus's fighting style, and all that the bandits could see was a lone man ready to die with no weapons. Fervus dropped anything they sent to him in one strike. No matter how tough the hide a creature had or how thick and strong the armor, the being that was struck clean by Fervus just dropped down incapacitated. After the eleventh hour, the leader of the bandit coalition challenged Fervus. He had seventeen different mages enchant his skin to become impenetrable and indestructible. Believing himself unable to lose, the fool bared his body to Fervus and told him to strike anywhere, claiming to be invincible. Fervus dealt an open palm blow to where the man's heart would be. It wasn't a strong blow, but the force from it coursed throughout the man's heart. And of course, so did Fervus's energy. Fervus left the city as he was pursued by bandits as their leader died an agonizing death as his heart continuously stopped and restarted as it attempted to flush out Fervus's rage infused energy. With their leader gone and the people gaining back their confidence, the city was retaken. Every single one of the beings that Fervus fought with the exception of the leader of the bandits survived, having only been disabled or incapacitated. To this day, Fervus has only killed the bandit leader. This was the single incident that spread the fame of the adventuring priest that dropped the wicked with one blow.


Personality:


Fervus is a stoic and aloof man who rarely talks. He holds incredible mental fortitude and clarity that is a result of the lifestyle he has adhered to for his whole life. Fervus upholds ideals that he follows with intense conviction. Fervus is open and accepting, and rarely surprised by anything. He is perceptive and understanding, but yet will not show his own emotions. Fervus holds life in great value, and seeks to protect it. This belief also leads Fervus to lament his life line magic which is only rejected, which is why Fervus is reluctant to fight. Fervus is duty driven and serious, but can show a softer side to him. Fervus also has a pragmatic streak on him, which makes him consider actions the most practical the best, although this sort of cold decision making is somewhat balanced out by his caring ideals.


((I know you said that a skilled magic user can't become a skilled warrior, but this guy's magic is practically applicable only to his fighting and nothing else, so can his magical power be accepted?))

Social Status/Job:


Leceel is a hunter. Specifically, he specializes in the capturing and killing of dangerous monsters that usually have some degree of magical ability. Sometimes he is hired by nobles to capture prizes or remove problems from their land. Other times an entire village will put together their resources and hire him to remove a monster that plagues them. He also has been known to hunt monsters of his own accord, without any tangible reward necessary.


Weapons/equipment:


-Mortal Fang: Leceel's most valuable and most prized possession as an absolutely massive blade. This behemoth is roughly six feet long, a whole foot wide, and several inches thick. In fact, despite the bladed edge, it has more in common with a giant club than anything else. The blade sits naked in a simple leather strap along his back, and is visible to all. It has been forged from the fangs, scales, claws, and bones of beasts previously slain. The end result is a blade impervious to any kind of sword from man, or fang from beast. It can even cut through solid stone walls without chipping or showing damage. However, the blade is also roughly 200 lbs because of the dense materials use to forge it. Leceel is strong, but he cannot wield a blade that heavy--so he had it enchanted instead. With the blessings of a Vel'ath priest and two mages working in tandem, Leceel finally finished this masterpiece. The blade was enchanted against all elements, meaning no fire would melt it, and no rust would dull its luster. In addition, the blade was tied to his own being. To him, it weighs about the same as a regular hand-and-a-half sword, allowing it to be swung comfortably with either one or two hands. But this is ONLY in his hands, and also ONLY to himself. To everyone and everything else, the blade is still roughly 200 pounds. This effectively means that Leceel has a blade that no mortal power can break, and also has enough mass behind it to cut through almost anything as long as he can provide the necessary force. Inscribed roughly in the hilt of the blade lie the phrase mortal fang.





-Night bracers: Leceel has a pair of bracers that cover the entirety of his forearms, ending just before the elbow, and only covering the top of his left wrist, while leaving his right free. These are forged from the scales of countless monsters, and have served him faithfully through many years of hunting. Unlike his blade, these are not indestructible, and he has to repair them with the parts of other monsters. However, they have been with him for a longer time. The bracers are black as a result of his closest scrape with the Dusk, where they permanently became tainted black.


Coat: Leceel has a white coat woven from monster fur. This has multiple patches, and has obviously been torn through multiple times. However, it is fairly resistant to the elements. The arms are left bare, allowing for freedom of movement, and he has a matching scarf which is worn around his neck and can be used as a hood in inclement weather. The scarf also is element resistant, but is more used to cover his scars.


Odds and ends: Leceel has numerous substances stored in pouches and sacks strapped to his belt. These are generally different aromatic substances, with scents that attract or repel monsters. He also has a few other bits that help with the capture and detainment of monsters, such as plants that induce a nap or temporary paralysis if administered correctly.


-Flashpowder (3 doses): A mixture of ground flint and monster shells, this substance ignites with friction. One dose can either be clumped together to create a single bright flash, or spread out to create a flame that will burn for a few minutes.


-Monster urine (2 vials): Each of these glass vials contains the territorial markings of a particularly nasty creature. Smaller creatures will run away, but anything big in the vicinity might take it as a challenge


-Bloodroot (5 roots): Each one of these roots, once struck, will release a red substance similar to blood. It will "bleed" for at least an hour. Sticking one of these on a creature makes tracking it quite easy.


-Numbing pedals (3 doses): Crushing one of these flowers and jamming the resulting poultice into an open wound will result in the numbing of the creatures limbs for a minute or so. Larger creatures aren't numbed as long, while smaller ones are numbed longer


God you worship:


Leceel prays to Vel'ath at every dawn, that he might survive his hunts. He also offers thanks to the deity after every successful hunt, thanking him for the strength to have survived each ordeal.


Strengths:


Leceel's greatest strength is (unsurprisingly) his great strength. Even without his indestructible blade, Leceel could likely single-handedly bring down a tavern of ruffians in an unarmed brawl. He can also grapple with creatures large enough and dangerous enough that most would consider such an act suicidal. With his behemoth of a weapon, he can cut through building walls.


What surprises most people about Leceel is his cunning and intellect. While strength is certainly needed, you don't successfully hunt a creature three times you size and magical ability by jumping in and swinging wildly. Leceel is able to quickly learn how an enemy behaves, and can often guess at its weak points even if he has never fought it before by comparing it to previous battles. This is of course assuming he hasn't fought the creature before, in which case he will already have such knowledge stored away. He also has a penchant for building traps and/or ambushes when dealing with larger creatures. He uses the same cunning when dealing with other people, analyzing what they say and looking at problems from all angles.


Whether due to his heritage or his sheer willpower, Leceel seems to stave off death when by all rights it should have claimed him. He has bled out enough to kill a normal man, had half the bones in his body broken, and been impaled by a creature's horn through his abdomen. For whatever reason, it seems Leceel can endure significantly more trauma than a normal man.


Weaknesses:


Leceel's throat is an absolute mess of scar tissue. It looks as if it was torn open, had some chunks removed, and then was hastily stitched back together long ago. This is not far from the truth, and as a result Leceel is effectively mute. He can let out animalistic growls and shouts, but the gift of words left him a long time ago. Even shouting and yelling as described are painful experiences, so he usually remains completely silent. It is this reason why he wears a scarf no matter what kind of climate he remains in.


Despite, or perhaps because, of his skill as a hunter, Leceel has trouble dealing with society in general. He spends more than half of his time in the wilderness, often staying outside of the borders of towns, which many consider suicidal. Since he hides his throat scars, many take his inability to speak as outright rudeness. Even those who hire him for his skills find him slightly off-putting with his demeanor. This is not due to a conscious decision on Leceel's part, but rather an inability to act normally around others. Without the ability to easily converse, he finds it simpler to let his actions speak to his skills and past, rather than trying to use body language.


Leceel has one other trait which could be a strength, but has nearly killed him in the past. While clever, Leceel is also extremely stubborn. When laying out plans for dealing with an adversary, the idea of retreat is not an option for him. Even when backed into a corner and escape is the most viable option, he will not leave a battle half-finished.


History/Notable achievements:


Leceel's parents were killed by a magic beast at a young age, and he only survived due to the intervention of an old hunter. Leceel was raised by this hunter as if he were a son, and also learned the trade of hunting as he did so. However, the man's age caught up to him, and when beasts found their campsite, they were unprepared. The old man lost his life--and Leceel lost his voice. He was 17 at the time. From that day forward, Leceel has lived only by his own strength and the beasts he hunts. And over the last 12 years, he has become almost unparalleled when dealing with monsters. A few of his notable exploits are below:


-Diverted a stamped of desert monsters from a town by routing an entire oasis.


-Rescued the daughter of a noble from a drider nest (half spider, half dark elf, all evil) every single spider, large and small, along with the drider, was massacred by his hand.


-Leceel has survived multiple encounters with the dusk, though they are the only opponents he has had to retreat from. He has killed exactly one, though to this day he has no idea how he did so, and must accept that it was only luck that allowed him to live that day.


-Leceel has a personal token of a difficult hunt. While it was not fully grown, he did slay a dragon with his own two hands. Two scales were forged into the structure of his gauntlets, giving them powerful defensive properties.


Personality:


Perhaps it is because they were stolen from him, but Leceel puts very little stock in words. Someone can talk as much as they like, but he will barely give them any credibility until they actually act on their words. By the same token, he lets his own actions speak for themselves. Leceel seems rather sporadic in his choices to help others. What seems like random choice is actually a measure of another's strength. If Leceel believes that someone can do something by their own power, yet still wants his assistance, he will outright refuse. To him, it is challenges overcome that allows one to grow, and he will continue to go through every challenge in his way, but will not take the challenge of another if they can overcome it on their own.


Note: Sage is one of the most creative characters I have ever encountered to date, even after a year on the site.

Assassin armor: This enchanted armor allows the wearer to blend into the shadows and makes their presence almost nonexistent.


Assassin mask: Acts as a respirator and hides his face.


Assassin boots: These enchanted boots muffles all sound Aht makes, even when the sounds are barely noticeable.


Assassin tools: Hidden inside his armor include daggers x9, needles x plenty, vials of multiple types of lethal poisons x20, smoke bombs x5, and poisonous gas bombs x5.


Muramasa: A black katana. When this accursed blade is unsheathed, it emits an overwhelming dark aura and killing intent. It drains the user of his mental state and life in exchange for power. Those with weak wills won't survive long when wielding this sword


Ricia's Fire Dagger: Blessed by her celestialness. The black dagger is capable of manipulating flames.

He originally forsaken the Gods but now finds no reason to blame them. He speaks of Sedtia like the other assassins but he does not worship any Gods himself.


Strengths:


Movement: Aht is amply fast, able to quickly close the distance between him and the target or easily increase the gap. He is also very agile, making no wasted movements. He excels at parkour and free running.


Stealth: Even without the enchanted armor, Aht can be hard to detect and can disappear completely if not paid attention to. He is able to infiltrate places with high security.


Tracking: He is able to discern and interpret most tracks and markings left behind. Giving his mastery in the art of stealth, he is also quite perceptive to any attempts of hiding and concealment.


Illusion magic: Through years of training since he was 12, Aht have an understanding at using illusion magic to influence what people can see or hear, but the illusions cannot be felt which can give it away. This also allows him to see through other's illusions, given they are less experienced than him.


Knowledge of multiple racial anatomies: He can find weak points on the body of common races. This let him know where to strike nerves to paralyze and break joints to cripple. Using needles he is able to seal blood flow inside the target's body.


Weaknesses:


Prolonged fights: He is an assassin, not a warrior. His job requires him to finish quickly and effortlessly or risk complications


Direct combat: People who trained as warriors can overpower him if he's not careful.


Broad daylight: Cannot even consider killing someone in broad daylight.


Beasts: He has yet to kill any significant animals or dusks and lack experience in their weaknesses.


History/Notable achievements:


Aht was born in a poor household, in the slums ridden with disease and crimes. Not a day past where he didn't forsaken the gods for his family's misfortunes, wondering what they did to deserve this. Life was tough, food was hard to come by but they managed. Frustrated with this hell along with his incompetent parents wallowing in their own misery, he furiously spat at his own incompetence. He always wondered why they could not find a new home. When he was twelve was when his family were attacked. Petty thieves, he thought. He did not realize how it happened but when he awoke in amidst the night, his father's head was toss to the side like a dirty glove. Rage consumed him as he watched them begin to leave. He looked around for anything, a liquor bottle. He shattered it, clumsily charging at the closest man with the crude weapon. He was easily apprehended but continued to scowl. Why did they not just kill him with his family he snarled. The man laughed, asking if he wants to die along with his corrupt father. He did not understood what the man meant as tears streamed down his eyes. He struggled from the man's grasp, but he was too weak. Seeing how hard he struggle was his answer, the man remarked that he liked the looks in Aht's eyes. The man offered the the choice to join his assassination organization if he wanted to live. He resentfully accepted, realizing that this could be his chance at a new life, anything was better than before, better than dying like this. Over the years with the organization, Aht trained in their ways. He took part in premeditated murders of the corrupt, understanding that his father had done something heinous in the past and had hid in the slums. He grew to accept his new family and rose in their ranking. His name would instill fear in the hearts and minds of many. His fame is but a rumor, a myth whispered in the night.

He is calm and collected, yet almost detached. He has no qualm with killing people, but finds his actions to be despicable regardless if they deserved to die or not. He does not hold himself in high regards, and actually loathes himself. However he had accepted that this is the person he had became. He is a ruthless killer and has a strong sense of duty. To compensate, he tries to be kind to those that are not his target, children, the sick, the poor, anyone he can in his free time. He knows this will not atone him of his actions, but it still makes him feel better. He enjoy days when there is no work, only pleasant banter with fellow assassins, which he finds funny.

Strengths:


Mugen is very good at Illusionary magic and he is highly trained in close combat with his daggers, whip, staff, and katana.


Weaknesses:


Mugen is a afraid of other people and is not very good at speaking with others which is why he rarely talks. Holy water and recitations of holy verses also cause Mugen to become irritated and holy water burns him.


History/Notable achievements:


Mugen was brought up by his parents till he was five at which point his home was discovered and most of his family wiped out. Mugen studied many dark magics and trained for years. He has a private agenda and plans to get revenge on the ones who murdered his family, the Dark Elves whom he now has an immense hatred for.


Personality:


Mugen is silent with a short temper. He is also somewhat insane from traumatic experiences earlier in his life so he tends to go A-wall and laughs at sad things. He has a very Bipolar personality, and he doesn't do well in a team from being introverted. He also loves to grin

Social Status/Job:


After he left his tribe, Vorgak became an adventurer, a sellsword and sometimes a merchant guard. He often visits a tavern to hear any bounty available (usually group of bandits or giants), go to kill them, then proceed to receive the payment. He never take jobs to kill someone though, nor he ever want it, because it doesn't fit his ways. And if Vorgak encounters any blacksmith place or weapon store, he often stays a while to help their job sometimes he'd do it even without payment because smithing was one of few things that reminds him with his home and people. Vorgak moves a lot, usually sleep in a cave or a bandits hide out after he cleared them all, stays on few days then move to another area. When he wants to search for a bounty he'll go to a bar and sleep in the inn, or if on the way he meets a group of traveling merchants he'll accompany them to their destination.


Weapons/equipment:


His main weapon is volendrung, the ancient warhammer which said to be made by the second chief of Margaz-bur, his tribe, chief Mauhulakh in the guidance of Kilanos, God of chaos and death himself. He acquired it after killing Yamaz the traitor, former chief in Margaz-bur (and his own father) when the ex-chief tried to sell the people's land to a noble, half wood elf family. Volundrung can cause an earth-quake when smashed into the earth, and can cracked one's head with one hit. And the addition to that, Volundrung absorb to its victim pain, and transfer it to its wielder's life, so the wielder's wound will be healed, but not the fatal one.

Also, he always carry twin ebony daggers with him, although he just seldom use it for killing. They are a gift from his late wive, Revvah.

For armor he wears a set of heavy daedric armor, allows no arrow to across it and hit his body. Harder than any metal that had been smithed, it will take a lot of attempts to cut through this armor.

For supplies, he carries few potions and poisons on the deer-skin pocket attached to his legs. As for the rest, the Satchel he always carry around contains :


- health potions, usually these are at the most quantity in his Satchel


-Fire poisons, he usually applies it to Volendrung so it will have some fire effect on its victim (usually last five minutes after it administrated)


-Scguraf, basically a berserk potion. Will boost power twice as before for a time, but the drinker will fall exhausted afterward. It is a forbidden potion made from self blood, saber cat's eyes and nirnroot. The potion must be made with Kilanos Dawn force words spoken to have the real effect.


-lockpick, necessary if he wants to open the bandits crest.


- a map which he made by himself, each time he found new place he will add it to this map.

God you worship:


Kilanos. Vorgak has worshipped him the same way as his tribe people does in his life. He always pray to Kilnos whenever he goes to a battle, then make an offering to him after the battle was won by burning his strongest enemy.


Strengths:


- Bare-hand combat. Every orc in his tribe/stronghold was taught how to fight even from they are just children, and bare-hand combat is the most basic of it. To be weak at it is the same as one shames their own family or parents, as that was the parents fault not to teach their children this combat properly.


- Ambush, face-to-face combat. As an orc who was raised in the conventional way, Vorgak preferred facing enemies forward than sneaking.


-Tank, defence. With his muscled figure, added with the heavy armors he wears, he makes a good tank.


-Smithing. Smithing is something that many orcs will do in their spare time. This activity often reminds him of home.


-Dawn time. Many people said that dawn time is the epitome of life, but in his tribe teaching Kilnos is said to release his force to his worshipper at dawn, so in the day when the sun is alight and high, earth will be splashed in blood of the ones who deserve their death. And dawn time actually the time He and Revvah bound by the tradition of marriage.


-Destruction spells. But only 2 spells he knows those are lightning bolts and fire. He seldom uses it because it takes quite a time to perform it.


Weakness:


-Sneaking and silent attack. Vorgak's armor and weapon cannot fit to do such things.


-Also a silent attack from enemies. He can heard an attack, yes. But to react to it, maybe he often late to counter attack it, given that volendrung is not a weapon which can be swung as lightly as a dagger


-Necromancy. His late wive, Revvah, died because of it. He is very cautious and dislike necromancers now and then.


History/Notable achievements:


Born as the fifth child from the third wive of Chief Yamaz of Margaz-bur (before he was named Yamaz the traitor) , Vorgak knew that he will never have a change to be a chief of this tribe or the shaman. So Vorgak serve his life as a warrior and guardian to the stronghold not long after his come of age ceremony. At the age of 16, he was married to a dark elf named Revvah lo Mayah, who is 18 at that time, as a treaty pact of the two tribes. Even though he just met her at the day of their marriage, he carry the bond faithfully because it was what he was told to do. The arranged marriage turned to love on both sides though. But the happy moment didn't last. Revvah was killed three years later when she inspected a group of necromancers who was suspected will invade their tribe. That was the first time he tasted scguraf, to have a power to kill her killers. Then there was the betrayal his father did to his own village. To saved his people's land he must fight Yamaz, and again he drank scguraf to make himself stronger. And yes he won. But then the amount of the liquid got too much that he almost succumbed to the most dangerous side effect, death by exploded heart. But then Kilanos, in the form of half Orc, half mass of tentacles saved him from that. But in return Vorgak must served him as his direct worshipper, to take Volendrung and spread the death to those who deserve it. With that words also spoken to the current chief and his oldest sister, Meazal, Vorgak leave the stronghold to do the task.


Personality:


Some people call he is a calm person, but in reality he tries to ignore most situation so he doesn't get angered easily. Vorgak like silence more than crowd, unless when he is searching for information. He can socialize normally but won't respond if it's not important.

Dagger, but it is more a tool than a weapon, being very basic in design however it once belonged to her older brother, Jara, so she cherishes the sentiment of it.


Staff, was given to her by her brother so he could teach her to fend for herself.


Blessed bandana, blessed by Jirua while in possession of Kahli’s restoration magic teacher who was a master within the School of Restoration. He gave it to her before her expulsion and she is never seen without it, despite her claimed rejection of the Gods. It strengthens her restorative abilities, allowing them to be useful despite how little she knows.


Backpack, containing essentials such as food rations and a sturdy cloak against the weathers.

Claims to have abandoned her respect for the Gods following the death of her brother, however she can still be caught whispering a quick prayer to Jirua when she thinks no one is around.


Strengths:


She has a little skill in the school of destruction, particularly in the willing of air and water, but is by no means a master as she never completed her training. She knows some basics in the school of restoration eg. Aiding the healing of minor injuries.


She has good social skills from her time spent running errands and assisting traders, considering she required the charisma to find herself work in the first place.


Having grown up as an orphan and then lost her brother to the dusk, she also very independent and able to survive off very little.


Although she has never received formal training, she would frequently spar with her brother. While her attacks are erratic and not very effective, her defensive is brilliant due to her lightness of foot.


Weaknesses:


Fear of fire following the accident that got her expelled from training in magic.


She has a quick temper which can often lead to trouble, as well an overly strong sense of independence that would cause her to endanger herself rather than ask others for help.


She is not a very strong attacker because her brother had always focused on teaching her defence since he was a somewhat pacifist individual unless violence was absolutely necessary.


History/Notable achievements:


Kahli’s mother was lost in child birth and at a very early age she also lost her father, a fisherman, at sea, although his actual death was never confirmed. This left her with only her brother, Jara, who was training to be a mage and naturally, she decided to follow in his footsteps. However, when the dusk attacked their coastal village, Jara attempted to fight them and was seriously injured. When the School of Restoration were unable to save him, Kahli lost her temper and injured several healers whilst accidentally willing fire to harm those she blamed for his death, resulting in her expulsion as well as being left alone. From here, she took up running errands and claimed to have rejected the Gods for not saving Jara, but still desired to learn magic to make him proud of her... When the King offered to wipe criminal backgrounds for those who joined the quest she saw it as an opportunity to be accepted back into the School of magic.


Personality:


She is charismatic but quite reserved from having spent so much time alone since her expulsion, other than when working; interaction is for business, not for fun. She is overly independent, to the extent she would more likely endanger herself than ask for help. She has a very sensitive side to her though, which she usually hides, but this side of her has great aspirations towards mastering magic and still prays to Jirua when she believes no one is listening. She is a quick thinker which gave her the potential of mastering destructive magic; however this comes hand in hand with her quick temper which is her biggest downfall.

- Wooden staff called Beyza, gifted to her from the royal family after her defeat of the Dusk. It is carved with runes and decorated with light blue stones. It amplifies her ice magic and the stones contain energy that helps rejuvenate her during battle.


- Leather bag holding: Rations, clean water, bottles filled with dried herbs and salves, journal and various stones and a handful of coins.


- Small pouch on her hip: A stone that fits into her palm that creates a temporary force field around her that only lets magic through. It requires a channel to activate and about 5 good axe hits will break it.

Shae prays to nature itself rather than Gods or Goddesses.


Strengths:


Magic - As a child, Shae proved her ability to wield and use magic. She grew a strong affinity for ice magic, and has since stuck to using it while fighting. Shae can also use the other types of destruction magic, but she is not as good at them. She also has an okay understanding of restoration and illusion magic. She can heal cut and bruise, but that is about the extent of her healing without overexerting herself. As for illusion, she can make herself invisible for a period of about half an hour, but only if she moves slowly.


Dexterity - Shae has always been small and slim, at a short 5'1" and 105 lbs. This has made her rather hard to catch. She is particularly good at climbing and hiding. In battle, she and move very quickly and escape most any adversary.


Diplomacy - Though she grew up an outcast, she eventually found her way to the royal guard after her time as a boat mage. She has spent a fair amount of time around nobility, and such has picked up on how to speak eloquently and reason with others.


Tolerance - Shae is very tolerant of all races. As a halfling, she understands what it is like to be an outcast and disrespected. She promised the rest of her life to try and understand those that are not like her.


Weaknesses:


Hand to Hand Combat - Shae never bothered to learn how to battle with weapons. Though she carries a dagger, she has no idea how to wield it properly. If fights are brought close to her, she tends to turn and flee to a safer place to attack from.


Trusting - Though also a good thing, Shae tends to trust people too much. All her life, she has only looked to please those around her and find a place in society she would fit into. She is a smart person in general, but is not good at noticing deception.


Weak - There is no other way to put it, Shae is just physically weak. If given a sword, Shae could probably barely lift it up to hold it. As a mage, she has never seen a need to work out or gain strength.


History/Notable achievements:


Shae'mir was born of a Dark elf woman and a Human man in a night of lust. Her mother gave birth to her, left her with her father and was never seen again. Shae's father was a unskilled mage that worked in the castle as a bookkeeper. At the tender age of 7, Shae started to show her strong affinity for magic. She would go to the forest, where she was most at peace, and freeze plants and water. She was often the passing chatter of the people in her village, as she was the only halfling. They would speak in hushed tones, but she would hear the whispers. She was 'wrong' and 'unwanted'. On her 10th birthday, she was rather upset after hearing a cruel name, and ran off into the woods and froze an entire lake on accident. Eventually, with her father's help, she was apprenticed by a stronger mage in the castle and learned how to properly use her skills. She tried until she was 20, and then was hired as a boat mage. She spent 5 uneventful years doing that, until one night her ship was attacked by a Dusk. She was completely unprepared, and a handful of deaths resulted until she fought the beast off. Though she would forever be haunted by the people that there lost, when the royalty of Aria heard of her battle and victory, she was taken in as a Royal Guard.


Personality:


Shae is a very private person as far as personality. Though she can interact with others well, she doesn't reveal things about herself easily. This stems from the fear of rejection and being an outcast. She has a way about her that is elegant and refined, but very reserved and safe. In general, she does not express her true self, which is free and wild. Through her 27 years, she has become very knowledgeable about many topics.

Having trained himself since but a youngling, Thoran has become an expert in hand-to-hand combat and two-handed weapons, preferring cleaving weapons above all. He is proficient with other melee weapons as well, such as swords and hammers.

Thoran cannot use a bow, crossbow or any long range weapon to save his life. While throwing daggers and other small weapons from a relatively close distance is good, he never learned how to fire arrows or bolts, therefore his aim and overall combat attitude at long distance is not good at all.

Ever since he had known himself, Thoran was quite the brawler. Since his younger days, he would venture into taverns, inns, sometimes brothels, with one goal in his mind: to challenge every man he found to a fist fight. Punching, kicking, headbutting, taunting, nothing was inappropriate when it came to a fight, the rush of victory and the sight of his foe lying broken on the ground before him became a drug for the dwarf. His favourite tactic was to hit his opponent in the stomach repeatedly before he would finally fall to his knees, at which point Thoran would headbutt them into unconscious. Hence the nickname "Steelhead".


But life soon became boring for poor Thoran, as everyday he longued for adventure, exploring and most important of all: fighting and killing. He was not a maniac, killing for no reason. Quite the contrary, he despised murder. It was death in battle that he saw as being glorious. The chance to either win your freedom or be crushed under someone else's foot. Thus, one day, Thoran took finally invested all the money he took from his lifetime savings and his share of the bets of all the brawls he won and bought himself a good, sturdy two-handed axe. Such, at the age of 26 he started his journey, becoming a mercenary eventually and rising to fame as his name echoed throughout Aria as one of the best warriors and drinkers.


One day Thoran will never forget was the day when he faced his first Dusk. The creature was gruesome, a monster like he'd never seen. By that time, the dwarf became quite skilled, procuring himself a good suit of armor and better weapons and equipment. Those proved of little use however. The beast had attacked a camp of a caravan that Thoran was supposed to escort. It was him and 7 other guards protecting the objective, when the beast came from nowhere and simply started wrecking havoc. How did he kill it, Thoran knew not, but it was just in time, for the monster had killed all the guards and destroyed half of the caravan before going down.


Ever since, Thoran has been taking fewer and fewer missions, those he took being rather easy than the more complicated ones he used to dare to undertake. Now the dwarf spends more time in inns, drinking himself to sleep, with Myra, his trustful axe, to keep him company.


~Personality~


"Buzz off, lad, I'm on my free time!"


Bloodthirsty, short-tempered and loyal to the one that pays the most. Those are the traits that best describe Thoran's "charming" personality. He doesn't trust anyone, thinking of everyone else as being incompetent, but never revealing his true thoughts, preferring to keep to himself and pretend around those that he need to further his own agenda. He is, however, easy to tick off when being addressed by his height. His favourite way of relaxing includes smoking his favourite wooden pipe and drinking large amounts of ale, or any alcohol for that matter.

Social Status/Job: He is the Archmage of his village. He was given this title after his father of which was the best mage ever in his eyes. They say he could create gold from coal. No one has truly seen how powerful he could be; they will never know since he has yet to return from his quest and has been missing for years.


Weapons/Equipment: he carries an oakwood staff with a ruby gem on top. Wears a blue silk robe; handed down from his father when he was 20 . The robe has many compartments for him to carry magical items. Last but not least he has a vine-ring with a piece of the tree he was born in embedded in it.


God worshipped: Serene has stopped believing in gods after his father's disappearance. Why have such a great man away for so long? He does not deserve whatever is happening or happened to him.


Strengths: Serene is a mage of one school and that is restoration. Of which he learned when he had to help his wounded father in the field; a tree fell over and slashed his leg open. He completely healed the wound and it looked as if nothing ever happened.


Weakness/Fear: Serene is deeply scared of wolves. When he was little a pack of wolves arracked his villsge and ate some of his closest friends. One of them, the girl he has liked since birth.


History/Notable Achievements: Serene first reslized he could do magic when a tree fell and cut his father; he touched where he got wounded and the wound was healed. From then on his father taught him how to control his power, to use it for the greater good.


Personality: Serene is a cert quiet and caring person. Those who gave heard him speak say that he is very wise and mature for his age. He is very fond of learning about other species and their cultures.

However impractical it may be, she has those two swords for a reason , and she can use them. This allows her to move faster, as her swords are not the longer, heavier blades that others would use.


Archery:


At a young age, she took an interest in bows, more overly crossbows, and did her best to become accurate with them. She became good enough to use two, smaller ones at once.


Who She Is:


She is the Daughter of the King. That grants her more privileges than most, but it also restricts her. She's had access to books from a young age, she's always been well fed, been taken care of, if not by her father then by servants and the like who's job was to care for the younger of the royal family.

Being the daughter of anyone and wanting to go out into the world and fight is normally frowned upon by any loving father. That is cranked up to eleven when you're the Princess. Which forces her to have to sneak out, and disguise herself, and hope that her father would forgive her. She just wants to make her father proud.




History/Notable achievements:





There's nothing too notable about her, asides that she is the Princess, which has been touched upon. Her crowning achievements would be her mastery of archery, her skills with swords, and the like.


There was a time where a young warrior within the Guard had caught her eye, however, he signed up and went to fight the very creatures many now fear, and never returned. She does not seek revenge.


Otherwise, her life has been that of a typical Princess, in a way. She studies a lot, she sings, she'll dance, and the like. But now, the notion that to be real Royalty, and to truly prove herself to her father, she must fight, has arisen deep within her heart, and she will not let anyone get in her way, not even her father.


Personality:


Catalina is a rough and rowdy, happy kind of Princess, who tries to enjoy life. However, she is also extremely stubborn. She has always made sure to get her way when she can, except when her father is more stubborn than she. But she loves her father very much, and hates to disappoint him. She tries her best to make him proud of her, and will do whatever she needs to do so.

after being crowned the king after his father was killed in the war against a feud between the elf, he ruled his land for a decade or so, it was verily a golden age, he was loved by all, but against the elvish traditions he would secretly worship the goddess Sedita instead of enally, and would give sacrifices to her, it wasn't long before this was found out, he was questioned or bothered as he was still the king, but soon when he had gone on a ride out in the forest he was attacked and captured, by the dark elf and brutally tortured, since then he had been scared of darkness, but during that time the goddess sedita came to his rescue, but in return she asked for his kingdom, she wanted more followers of her, zalon's spirit was broke after all he was never more then a royal prince that turned to a king, he never saw the hardship of the cruel world, upon agreeing the goddess helped zalon get to his kingdom, there was a feast on his return but during the feast zalon made his move to fast, when he announced of his vow, the whole court was silent as to them even if Sedita had brought their king back she was still Nemesis of enally and so that very night a coupe had occurred while zalon was asleep, zalon was captured and tried in a court where he was asked to convert back to worshiping enally or severe consequences would be faced by him, hopping that sedita would come to save him again, he foolishly declined and was banished from his rightful throne, surely the goddess now thought of him as a fool but she kept helping him keeping him safe she knew that she could use a slave, a pawn like him in future, zalon was soon doing whatever he was told and bid sedita by his heart


upon entering human land he did face alot of hardships, he soon joined the king's guard and was promoted to a royal knight but when the dusk attacked he tried hard not to run away but in the end his fear took over him as he tried to escape on a vessel to the other kingdom, indeed the treatment from the dark elf had taken the toll on him, the vessel he had taken ended up caught in a storm, losing all his and his crew's major supplies he ended up attacking them and the king who was escaping with them, just for his survival sedita was pleased by the death of the kings ( no :P ), she gifted zolan a dagger that would freeze anything and everything it would touch, upon arriving in the new kingdom he tore his cloths and even wounded himself acting and telling the fake tale of what had happened to him and his crew including the king, and that he is the sole survivor, he joined the elite squad so that one day he might get enough riches to buy a army of his own and gain control of his homeland once again, he tends bid sedita and will follow her every command (i would like if someone could act as her at time)

Shield (Breaker)- Breaker is Rikki's shield, whom she was given by her trainer when joining the king's army and became his apprentice. Her shield can withstand and block heavy magical attacks as well as many blades.

Heavy mace- Riki uses a heavy mace for her free hand. The spiked blunt weapon also has a point at the other end of the handle so she can better help defend herself from attacks from behind.

Red cloak- Looks a lot like a cape, but when unclasped from her armor, it is a red cloak meant to help protect her and her armor from the worse of the elements. It was the King's symbol on the back of it.

Rikki worships Dekiru, the god of courage, honesty and hope. She believes you need more then strength, and Dekiru's teachings make her whole.

Strengths:

Shield Training: Rikki's strongest strength is in her shield training. She often puts herself in the way of the incoming blow from an enemy to another ally. Because of her sturdy shield and it's high magic resistance, she can, more times then not, save someone from a killing blow without taking too much damage herself.

Royal Connections and Status: Because she has been entrusted with the command of her king's army, she carries a high rank in society. This often can get her things and places quickly, but only in Aria. Though it is not often she will do this off duty, it can be useful.

Survival, Leadership and Tactician Training: Skills often required being in the Royal Army. She must know how to survive out in the wild without supplies, keep a team together and being responsible. It is important to know and trust your team, as it can mean life or death of the kings or the people of Aria.

Endurance: Running around in full plate armor, a shield and with supplies can be tiring on anyone. But doing so and still having the energy to fight a fight at the end of the day takes some real teeth gritting. Rikki has a lot of endurance and upper body strength carrying around the weight every day most her life.

Weaknesses:

Slow: Rikki's armor, although protecting her from many blows of a weapon, can put a large hindrance on her speed. Because of this her maneuverability is slow and she is not exactly the fastest of the group. She tries not to let it be her weakness by always being aware of her surroundings, but sometimes there is just nothing you can do against a quicker foe.

Hand to Hand: Rikki was never all that good at hand to hand. It doesn't mean she can't or isn't capable of it, she is juts not good at it. It is a required thing of her training and always tried her hardest. She just finds bull rushing a person and putting them against the pure amount she weights with armor and all, beats any kind of hand to hand. Often that can prove wrong however.

Prime Target for Hate: Although a strength, it can easily be used against her. There will always be those who will hate the king. Also there will be those who hate her for her political position. She has been attacked before on the streets my gangs or angry citizens for a number of reasons. Some she sometimes can or can't understand.

The Law: She is sworn to the king himself to follow and uphold the law at all times.... even when it is not morally right, even clashing against her own moral. No matter the reason... pure or with good intent, a broken law is a broken law and those who have broken it will receive the appropriate punishment.

History/Notable achievements:

Rikki had a normal life of a farmer girl till she was about 9, when the farm was suddenly burned down by bandits around the area. They offered to protect them if they pay them once a month. Of course the only thing the bandits would be doing is protecting Rikki's family from themselves.

Without any crops, they didn't have the money to pay the thieves, so in return they sold their daughter. Of course that day didn't last long, as she was rescued by Jarvus the General of the king's army, who came to relive the outer farms of this bandit menace. When asked where her parents where, she denied that she even had any, fresh from the betrayal of them. Jarvus, an elf, graciously adopted Rikki. He said he had saw her fight against the bandits, even when all odds were stacked against her.

With that, Rikki started to train and prepare to be the successor of Jarvous and take over the kings army. The man never had a wife of his own, too busy in life to hold a relationship or love. Rikki wanted to be just like him and emerged herself into everything the army was.

Since then, she had lost Jarvus to the black menace known at the dusk at the beginning of the attacks on the shores. Her position as General of the army has not been long live, but in that time she had kept the city as safe as she possibly can. Fighting off bandits, protecting the king, keeping the streets clean.

When the king put out the open letter, Rikki begged him to let her take on this group. She wanted to try and end the menace that took her master and step father away.

Personality:

Rikki's personality can be fairly serious. She is almost all work and no play. Her loyalty is fiercely to the king himself and the soldiers that she leads to battle. Duty, her moral and solders is her life. Because of such an up tighter personality, she can have a hard time taking a joke, let alone 'loosening up'. Most times when she is off duty, she can be rather calm. She likes to spend her time in intelligent conversation with others. Like Jarvus, her time and emotion is mostly spent in her job, and is rarely seen outside her job.

She also has a small quark that is known around the solders: When caught by surprise, she has a tendency to yell at people. It is actually quite funny to watch as she is for the most part harmless and would never strike out in her surprise or anger. Just yells... loudly.

Though not one to really worship the gods, he gives some acknowledgement of Vel'ath.

Strengths:

Sword skills- Alex isn't the best sword welder, however he's pretty good at it. with mostly being self-taught he's pretty good with his sword.


Agility- Alex is quick on his feet and can move swiftly to avoid attacks in combat. It's also helpful for climbing buildings, trees and anything else with little to no effort on his part.


Magic- Well his magic is fire magic. It takes it out of him to use it too much though so it's a last-resort option for Alex.






Weaknesses:
Physical Combat- He's not good at it at all. So he'll most likely avoid that situation the best he can if he got stuck in it.


Claustrophobic- Alex hates small spots with a burning passion. If it's dark then he'll start to panic if he's not out of it quickly.



History/Notable achievements:

Well other than being a mercenary for hire to pay the bills. Alex is a gambler, and not really a far one either. He normally cheats his way through using dirty tricks to win all the big bucks he can. If he gets caught well he gets out of there and moves on to the next place. He can be a bit thieving too.


He's been like that for a while and Alex mostly travels from town to town doing the same thing. Being there for maybe about a few months max at a time before moving on to the next place and doing the same thing all over again. It's how he's always lived and he doesn't seem a need to change that.





Personality:

Alex is egotistical at times, which can get him into trouble more times then necessary. He can also be a show off too. Despite that he does do his best to be helpful to other, though sometimes he requires a fee for his "helpful" services. He can be bluntly honest at times without thinking about him which can also lead him to trouble.

Last thing @Ricia because it's her birthday today and she should feel extra special today. Also for being a good friend on this site.

Character Name and Nickname: Zainkrin Nörvainne—The Scourge.


Gender: Male.


Age: 32 years old, yet it is difficult to determine his age by his appearance.


Species: Dark Elf, though one corrupted and possessed heavily by a demonic presence.


Appearance: The colossal elf stands at the height of seven feet and three inches, adorned with enough muscle to take on three-to-four moderately-trained men at once. Due to the massive fire he experienced in his childhood, Zainkrin is permanently scarred by the severe burns of the inferno. Because of this, the elf no longer has smooth, ebony-skinned flesh. The burns have altered Zainkrin’s anatomy into a devilish sight, for his skin is entirely black-and-red, almost scaly because of the damage inflicted upon him from the flame. Zainkrin, because of the fire, has no hair on his body and is bald. His ears, oddly, were not harmed by the fire overly much, and are still heavily elongated at diagonal points. His lips are charred, slightly showing white, razor-sharp teeth that he sharpened with a knife himself. Zainkrin dons neither eyebrows nor eyelashes, and has irises of a golden hue. Also, the fire practically destroyed all of the nerves in his body besides in his hands and feet, allowing him to withstand a large amount of pain before falling. When Zainkrin is not in his more powerful form, he wears only a black fur sash, black fur boots, and heavy, black-painted, steel-plated gauntlets that are spiked at the knuckles. He outfits himself in little-to-no apparel to reveal his entire burned body to his enemies, for he fears no man-made weapon.


(NOTE: The picture below is the closest I could get. He is EXTREMELY burnt, and does not have that smooth of skin. But he is ugly in the picture, muscular, and has golden eyes.)

Social Status/Job: Wanderer, though rumors of his physical talents have spread across Aria.


Magic: Something rare known as demon-taint. After the demon-caused fire that Zainkrin endured, the demon possessed half of his mind, allowing him to morph into a demonic entity standing at the height of nine and a half feet. The form can only be achieved every two-to-three days, and it drains Zainkrin of his energy completely after the configuration leaves him. Usually, the form only lasts for an hour. Because the demon knows that he has twisted Zainkrin’s mind, the creature allows him to control the power as he wishes, becoming the monstrosity whenever he likes (and when his body is capable of becoming such a fiend). The abomination itself is protected by a thick layer of blood red metal plates that mesh together when it moves, creating a severe grinding sound. Seven-inch, completely straight claws, stretch out from his plated fingers, but not from his metallic feet. His feet are armored heavily, like the rest of his body, and shake the ground beneath him if he were to run in this form. Zainkrin’s head, in this configuration, almost mimics a devilishly-horned, plate helmet that encases his entire skull. The only open area is two incredibly miniscule dots that work as holes to reveal his golden eyes.

Weapons/Equipment: Zainkrin usually uses his gauntlets as a way to slay his enemies in a barbaric fashion, but sometimes he uses the zweihänder that is strapped to his broad back. The zweihänder, due to his size, was customized by a great dark elven smith in the east of Aria. The weapon is eight feet in length—its measure allowing the blade to stretch for nearly another foot above Zainkrin’s head. The zweihänder is obviously a two-handed weapon, and allows a reach that could cut out the bellies of multiple enemies at once. The hilt of the colossal sword is shaped like a ‘T,’ but the ends of the ‘T’ on the left and right are curved upward. The point at the bottom of the ‘T’ is also designed into a point, allowing him to stab people by simply swinging it backwards. The hilt was forged from a hardy steel of the northern mountains, while the blade is crafted from obsidian. Those other than Zainkrin have a difficult time even wielding the blade.


(NOTE: This is very much what the zweihander looks like, but being much longer and thicker with a pointed pommel.)

Also, on the belt that keeps up Zainkrin's fur sash, a variety of pouches are designated. They contain herbs, salt (for meat), and matches.


God You Worship: Zainkrin, before his demonic possession, used to pray to Vel’ath, but now—his mind being tweaked by a malevolent presence—he vaguely worships Kilanos, though mentions him rarely when he speaks.


Strengths: He garners a physical strength unparalleled by many. Due to a life of loneliness—except for the demon in his head at all times—Zainkrin is very skilled at survival techniques, such as building a campfire, hunting/skinning animals, and even pointing out tracks.


Weaknesses: The scorched elf is utterly afraid of fire, due to his tragic experience. Cannot, for the life of him, fire a bow (not due to strength, for he has plenty of that, but due to horrible technique—someone would have to teach him). Seems to be mentally fatigued constantly, much to the effect of a demon being inside him for nearly two decades. Cannot, besides his demonic transformation, cast any magic. Also, within his demonic articulation, Zainkrin is very prone to electric-based attacks from a mage, due to the metallic plates all over his body.


History/Notable Achievements: Zainkrin was born to a poor family that farmed apples several dozen miles away form the eastern dark elven city. His life was normal until the age of twelve, when the small hovel he and his parents resided within caught on fire in the middle of the night. Zainkrin learned later that this occurred due to the witchery of his mother, who had been playing with a dark magic that summoned entities she should have never came into contact with. Because of her magic, a demon manifested itself in her home, burning the place to the ground. The only reason Zainkrin survived was because this was the moment in time when the demon half-possessed his mind, and forced him from the home at the very last second. The demon’s spiritual strength kept Zainkrin alive through the burn wounds, and since the demon has lingered in his mind ever since, he no longer is the same individual. Zainkrin is more of a demon than he is a dark elf.


The charred elf survived on his own for a while with the assistance of the dark presence, learning to digest raw meats and picking up survival techniques that he would require later. As he grew, both in age and in size, he wandered throughout Aria, picking up tasks and jobs. He did this not for coin however—he did this to simply practice his killing skills.


Zainkrin has brought down a multitude of creatures, all varying in size and strength. But now, as the Dusk rise and threaten the lands, the king of Aria has invited forth talented warriors throughout the continent. Zainkrin has come to this call, to see if the Dusk can finally be the creatures to test his mettle.


Personality: Zainkrin is not selfish, greedy, or lustful. Beyond all else though, Zainkrin is wrathful and vengeful, for the monstrous elf enjoys the art of murder. He does not have the mind capability to understand sympathy and empathy, but he does understand that those who defy, doubt, or taunt him deserve death—one that is preferably slow and agonizing. Obviously, because of his aggressive nature, Zainkrin will struggle to be a part of the group that is being assembled. Nevertheless though, he has decided to join up, but not for reasons that stray toward the greater good.

History/Notable achievements:


Lerilot's first 9 years of life were spent graciously in the company of two loving parents. Lerilot was an only child, and had many interests. She was a curious girl, had a certain spark for magic.


In the midst of Lerilot's 10th age, she was abducted into a cult. She remained in the cult for 8 years before being retrieved and saved, where she had returned to her parents who had since then nearly moved on from the loss of their only daughter.


For Lerilot's own protection, her parents sent her off to church so she would 'be under the protection of the gods' so she wouldn't get into trouble again. From this, Lerilot begun her vigorous studies on restoration magic and became a prestigious town cleric.


Personality: Lerilot is modest and highly self-conscious. She pays more attention to herself and things regarding herself rather than others and their matters. This being said, her focus is more nearsighted and precise than anything; once dedicated to something she does just that. As far as contact to others go, she appears distant when first approached and with conversation she does open more to a gentle, enjoyable, and exalted state of mind.

He was then asked after 5 years to show the forest's compliance to the fight against the dusk (for they affect all beings on this terra) to fight along side the other sentient races to save the world from this plague of evil beings, on the condition of ceasing the capture and breading of "wild" Faun and other creatures for Delicacies, in exchange for a small army consisting of many of the woodland creatures. And so he accepted, taking along a handful of the finest warriors from the village to go along on this journey. (side note they are just extra man power, NPC's if you will, I'm not gonna control their actions only Barbo's)


Personality: Very Emotive, and Extroverted, loves to Tussle, and very hedonistic. When in deep thought; he is quiet, pensive, and kinda zones out till what ever there is a problem for he has a solution. he is very stubborn and set in his ways, but can flow like water sometimes if his mentality is changed properly. Die hard romantic, yet hardly ever shows it.

I like him, but I think I might want you to tweak how many times a day you can transform.


Other then that he is great :)

Weapons/equipment: His clothes, a sword, and a pack similar to a Fannie pack attached to his belt, containing water and food (He always carries enough for 1 week [it is a slightly larger pack] then restocks when he can.) usually some rations of different sorts.


God you worship: Both High Gods.


Strengths: Fighting using his magic and his sword (Better at swordsmanship), only one at a time. Is a very fast attacker because he only carries a few things. He can pack quite the punch.


Weaknesses: Using his magic and sword together. He is too trusting and loyal to his friends. Not to new people. He is slightly scared of Dusks and it takes him a little bit to start fighting them, he has only fought one which he ended up running away from.


Notable achievements
: His family died when he was just a young boy and he was taken in by wood elves for a year. When they found out he was a dark elf he was banished from the city. When he lived on his own for about a year, he was found by other dark elves and they took him in. He learned his Destruction, Congregation, and Necromancy magic there. He didn't know that these dark elves were a secret cult of necromancers and he didn't know it was illegal. When he found out that it was illegal, he left the village and never showed his "dark side" of magic. He has become a traveler ever since. On one of his adventures, he found a lot of townspeople fighting a Dusk, he was very scared but he tried to fight it anyways. When all of his attacks went straight through the monster, he decided to run.


Personality: He is very quick to start fights. He is a little bit too loyal to his friends. Gets annoyed by everything. Usually kind of grumpy. The Dusks disturb him because they can't be hit with anything.


Jinzo is an awesome rper. I've seen his work and been in one with him.

A few things--


1. Dark elves are literately grayish/purpleish skin tone. So there is no way a group of wood elves could mistake a dark elf for a year. Not unless he was half and took on more of a wood elf's skin tone.

2. You need to tell me how much food you have with you. And other such (as said in the rules).


3. Am I to assume your magic is the strongest to weakest in that order?


4. You need to pick what you are better at... magic or swordsmanship. You can not be both. As stated in the magic portion.


5. You didn't read the rules. Please do so and add what I ask everyone to add.

Do you think I can convince you to play the stayer as a faun? :D You can keep the picture haha.
 
Hahahaha the only real difference is the height and the naivety, according to legend, Faun are taller and prettier i guess, so yeah i mean its always nice to be pretty hahaha
