Grace wandered over to a nearby bush and nestled down ''See you all in the morning.'' she closed here eyes and dreamt of her dad and the sea.

Eleniel heard Talvin's footsteps on his way over to her. He made a simple whistle to grab her attention, and that it did. Her head snapped to his direction and in the darkness he tossed a round object to her. Reflex kicked in before she could even see what it was. She caught it with one hand. Her arms pulled the item in to get a closer look, and then she could tell, by the shape and the feel, it was an apple. Much more satisfying than just a handful of strawberries.

Eleniel chuckled at his questions,"Yes, youre correct in both circumstances." She took a bite of the apple, making a quick crunch sound with it. There was a moment of silence while she chewed then she spoke again,"Thranduil is not easy to persuade. Passing through Mirkwood undiscovered is a possibility but a highly unlikely one. However theres still a chance," she took another bite, chewed, then swallowed,"But if he does get us, getting him to let us, or yu, go will be no easy task.... unless we do it forcefully."

Forcefully? The word chimed in the air like a hammer against a chapel bell. Did she really hate him that much? Then again, she chose exile to come with the group just to spite him. Talvin felt sure whatever water under that bridge was very cold indeed. In a way, with what he knew of Eleniel, their history wasn't that different at all, save which kingdom and who betrayed whom. Still, she made her choice to fight alongside the group and turn her back on Thranduil's court. At least that was what Talvin got the impression of.

"Well, just keep us out of his sight and away from his fortress or whatever, and we should make it to our destina..." Talvin stopped short of his words and looked back up at Eleniel. Sighing, he grabbed a foothold onto the tree. "I'm coming up." He said. After a few minutes of careful climbing, he made his way to Eleniels branch, and sat on his own. It was a bit close, but he made sure to give her some space between them.

"Ok look," He started saying. "I know you've risked a lot for us, and turned your back on Thranduil, at least that's what I'm getting the impression of, so you deserve to know what you're getting yourself into for it. And I don't know when Toxin is going to tell you, and I know he'll kill me for this, but you have a right to know this anyway."

Not to mention your growing army and possible campaign against Gondor. Well, that too I guess.

"We didn't want to tell Thranduil or gods know who else where we're going because...it's Erebor. We're going to slay Smaug and claim the mountain as our own. With the treasure."

"Out of his sight...right," she smiled. Its not as easy as it sounds. He had eyes and ears through out the Mirkwood forest. She wouldnt be surprised if they were already discovered with out noticing. Talvin stopped mid sentence and started to climb the tree,"Wha-- What are you..." she mumbled before realizing he was making his way to her after he announced so. It was a lot more convenient, looking down from her branch was starting to her her neck. Once he was on her level, she scooted farther away from him. Unclear if she was making room for him or just moving farther away. Either way, the branch only had so much room to hold them. They were pretty close to eachother, but Eleniel tried to ignore it. She sat stiffly, her hands tucked between her thighs while her legs dangled off the side of the large branch. Talvin continued, he explained the real plan.

Erebor.... Of all places?! They were crazy! Why? Why a place like Erebor? To face the dragon? Thats suicide. Hes kidding right? Eleniel broke out in laughter, not too loud, it was night after all, but loud enough for Talvin to definately hear,"Youre joking, right?" she looked at him from the corner of her eye and raised an eyebrow. It didnt seem like Talvin was going to be amused and Eleniels grin disappeared,"Right?" She lowered her head.

Talvin kept his face as straight as possible. With the slight laughter she broke, he could hardly blame her.

"I wish I had a more pleasant way to say it, but no. It's no joke."

He lent back against the tree, still holding a serious look in his eye. The seriousness died down after a few seconds. "I thought you had a right to know."

'He is serious.....' Eleniel observed him well, this was no joke. He even said so himself. She took a deep breath and looked away from him then slowly released the breath in a long sigh.

Talvin's tone changed from serious to sincerity. He thought she deserved to know, and he was right. If she joined the least they could do was tell her what was going on. She shook her head. This was like the time Thranduil prisoners he had after saying he wouldnt. And she played a part in the murder with out even knowing. As you could suspect....she wasnt very happy. Her fists tightened. And her teeth clenched,"Thank you for telling me..."

Moon watched Talvin join Eleniel in keeping watch. He turned back and stared at his hands. He had never understood how other guys had so easily spoken to girls. He supposed it was because he didn't really want to talk to people, he just wanted to enjoy their company or listen to them. Of course people wouldn't tell him anything if he didn't talk. He sighed, wishing he could go to sleep and just forget everything for a while. Unfortunately, being part elf meant he didn't need to, nor was he tired. He flopped onto his back and stared at the stars, thinking of everything.

As the sky darkened so did the forest and as the fire crackled out of existence the fellowship was left with little light to work with.

Toxin continued to sleep quite peacefully.

((Sorry I've been slow on this :P ))

Talvin looked to where the fire was and figured it was for the best. They all needed to sleep anyway. Taking off his cloak, he wrapped it up into a makeshift pillow and placed it behind his head by the trunk of the tree.

"If anything tries to eat us, wake me up. Other than that, night." He kept his words short, but gentle. After the shock he delivered to Eleniel, he figured she'd needed to think while on watch.

Eleniel followed his gaze to the fire a little ways away. When she looked back at him he was prepping himself for some well deserved sleep. Especially with that wounds, and his travels back to the group, it all seemed tiring. Even to her. He had his idea in the right place though, sleep was important, especially when traveling. Could make the difference between life and death when it comes to making decisions. He said good night to her, and seeing him so defensless in this state, actually distracted her from the building rage. She took a deep breath and smiled at him,"Night..." she said softly before looking back into the night....

(Okay ready for move on :D )

Daylight came too soon and illuminated the cold ashes of the fire. A breeze blew through the trees from somewhere far away bringing with it a mixture of scents.

Toxin woke to a ray of sunlight beaming directly into his left eye, causing him to shut it as soon as he had opened it and cover up the sun with his hand.

''Agggggg....'' he moaned, slowly lowering himself to the ground. He began to stretch and, after removing his mask, drank some water before splashing some of the remaining liquid onto his face.

''RISE AND SHINE!!!'' he sang the words out like a rotund bard on his opening night, his words rough but somewhat pleasant (if not mostly unpleasant).

He continued to stretch whilst occasionally changing a little ditty to do with the sun and something about a lass with find red hair and an even finer

The clouds moved quickly northward, most were dark against the otherwise blue sky.

Glimmer groaned when Toxin called for them to get up. She opened her eyes then winced at the bright light. She pulled herself up then once again fixed her hair and clothes with a spell. Still, she wasn't fully awake, so she splashed some water on her face and neck. "Good golly that's cold." She said to no one in particular. She went over to where she had slept and rummaged through her bag, humming along quietly to Toxin's tune.

Moon stretched and watched everyone waking up. He stood up and rolled his shoulders then stood awkwardly by the ashes of the fire, not sure what to do.

Eleniel sat on the branch and sharpened a twig with one of her daggers. To pass the time of course. The sun rose and was especially bright, poking through the forest canopy. "RISE AND SHINE" the voice carried itself to her ears. She knew that voice, "Toxin....", Eleniel cringed,"Is he trying to get us killed?!" she hissed through her teeth.

Her slender hands flicked the sharpened twig, and it tumbled down to the bottom on the forest floor. She crouched, resting her bum on her heels. She moved some white hair out of her face and looked at Talvin,"Hey..." she called out. Her hand reached out to tug at his shirt,"Toxin wants us up now." She waited for him to get up, blinking big eyes at him. An impatient sigh was released while she waited.

A dream was still gripping Talvin while an inhuman scream was heard in the background. He tossed and turned and felt something grip him. The nightmare he thought he was dreaming might have followed him into the real world.

His eyes snapped open, and he rose up in a panic. "Nazgul screams! How di- Whoa!" He lost his balance pretty soon and fell towards Eleniel, crashing on top of her. After a rough landing, Talvin found himself in an awkward position on Eleniel. He opened his eyes, and as soon as he found out where he thought his hand was, his face slowly went scarlet. He quickly moved off Eleniel, standing with haste. Not sure how angry she'd be after that. "Eleniel, I am so sorry! I lost balance and...Toxin, maybe I should do the wake up calls next time!"

After the harsh criticism Toxin lowered his voice and set about packing up.

He watched as Tavlin fell onto Eleniel and continued to do so in anticipation of her response.

Eleniel watched as Talvin stirred and gained consciousness again. "Hello?" she raised her eyebrows in a concerned fashion. In the blink of an eye he shot straight up, yelling something about the Nazgul. However, upon his rather unexpected awakening he lost his footing and rather than falling to the side and off the tree, he fell forward and into the she-elf. It happened too quickly, all she could do was gasp before his body, and the weight with it, overpowed her own. Both toppled over. Eleniel fell on her back, looking up at him. She said nothing, but the pout her lips formed and the low groan rumbling in her throat said it all. She struggled to prop herself onto her elbows, still lying under him. But she noticed his hand in a place it shouldnt have been. She took a deep breath, and soon her face was red too. Although, it was quiet unsure whether her flushed face was from embarassment or anger. Maybe both.

Talvin wasted no time getting off of her. And as soon as he did, she got up too. She stretched out her arm while the opposite hand dusted it off. She didnt look at Talvin, and bit her tongue. He apologized though, and she could tell it was sincere. It was an honest mistake, and Eleniel would let it go in short time. She turned around, her back facing him, and ran her fingers through her snow hair,"Its okay." Her voice held no emotion, but she genuinely meant it. Eleniel placed her hands at her hips,"No ones hurt, thats what matters," she slightly turned her head back to look at him,"So dont worry. Just...gather your belongings, we should be ready to get moving soon."

"Best morning advice ever." Talvin said quickly, rushing to gather up his things. He did a quick check to make sure he had everything in his rucksack. Food, extra bandages, his grappling hook, dagger, pretty much everything he came with was in there. Collecting the last of his effect, he threw the rucksack over his shoulder and looked to the rest of the group.

"Ok, so you guys remember which way we're supposed to go?"

Moon winced when Talvin fell on Elenial. He knew exactly what it felt like to do that. He put on his cloak and waited.

Glimmer shook her head when she saw Talvin's mishap. Poor dude. She slung her pack over her shoulder and scanned the clearing, making a mental map of the area.

Grace woke up and immediately took a swig of something alcoholic to numb the pain of Toxin's sining before getting up and packing her stuff. ''Ready when you guys are!'' she said when she was ready before turning to Talvin and asking ''Has the wound got any better?''

Toxin began walking, stopped, and then turned to Eleneil.

''I have no idea where we are...'' his peaceful sleep had come at the cost of his sense of direction, and as there was no way of knowing where they had come from there was no way of knowing which way they should go. Well, at least Toxin had no idea where they should go. He was used to forests having recognisable landmarks and diverse vegetation, not the same tree for miles around them.

''I think you're going to have to take point here.''

They watched from the trees.

Talvin turned to Grace when she asked. "Actually, yeah." He said as he realized he still had the wound. "The bandage is rather snug actually, not to mention the wounds healing nicely. Another scar for the collection though but better than a cold grave."

More eyes are on us.

Talvin tensed for a moment.

Where? How many? Can't say. I sense their heartbeats from a few of them but they're scattered. They moved in without us noticing till now, so we can assume- Thranduils scouts found us. Yet if this was a quest to kill, the'd have already done it. Which means we could hopefully wait them out and just keep going. You dont honestly think that will work, do you? Like you said, if they wanted to kill us, we'd have been dead already.

"Eleniel? Moon?" He asked before briefly glancing in the direction of the trees. If the blade could sense them now, elven ears would have done it a while ago.

Eleniel felt uneasy the moment Talvin left the tree for his things. She was about to do the same when that strange 6th sense kicked in. She stood still on the branch, trying to double check if what she really felt was real....or the forest playing tricks on her. Even if it was the forest, it wouldnt be affecting her this soon. Mirkwood elves spend large amounts of time in this forest, and grew a strong immunity to its deception and tricks. It would take many days for it to start getting to her. So perhaps what she felt was real. She jumped down and walked back to the clearing, her senses on edge. She immediately went to Toxin. Her lips parted to speak but he beat her to the punch. He requested for her to take pount, to which she agreed with a nod. Before he walked off she stopped him by grabbing his arm, they faced in opposite directions. For an elf she was somewhat short, her lips didnt exactly level to Toxin's ear but she spoke in a low whisper anyway,"Keep your eyes open...." she knew hed figure out what she meant by that. They were being watched and/or followed. Talvin called her name and she turned,"Yes," she confirmed his thoughts rather than answered to him. She could sense his nervousness too,"Keep your eyes open, this is Mirkwood after all..." she smirked and went back to checking her things. she tightened the guards on her arms, counted her arrows in her back quiver, hung her strung bow on her back, and tightened the holsters on her thighs that carried her large elvish daggers. She seemed distracted with this but she was extra aware. It could be anything thats watching them, even elves. Elves were stealthy enough to make it hard to be detected by their own kind.

After Eleniel's warning Toxin felt uneasy. She didn't seem like the kind of elf to get flustered about nothing, but then again he didn't know many elves. He unsheathed his sword and looked around, seeing nothing.

''Guys, what do your 'elf eyes' see?'' he said, shuffling further away from the treeline.

As the fellowship drew their weapons, they knew their element of surprise was gone. One had led them here with talk of warmth and meat that made good sound, so they came. They stayed still, their eyes watching the group look for them.

Moon stood still, listening. He turned all the way around, scanning the trees for movement and.....He wasn't sure what. He pulled out the Circlet that would enhance his senses and scanned the trees again. He froze and then turned to the trees behind Eleniel. He cleared his throat and nodded, ever so slightly, towards what he had seen. His hand moved, sub-consciously, towards his sword hilt as he took a few steps closer.

Glimmer reached for her spear, which was disguised as a staff. She turned her back to the rest of the group, hoping they weren't surrounded.

Grace took her swords out and began to do little tricks with them ''Anyone want to tell me whats going on?'' she said as she began to get more and more nervous as she didn't like the idea of being attacked somewhere they hardly knew.
