Eleniel stopped the group,"I know youre there..." She spoke loudly, referring to a presence coming from the density of the forest beside the group. And right then, Tauriel appeared from the brush. Eleniel and Tauriel were friends, Tauriel was about 100 years older, but they were close in age and were around eachother for most of their childhood. Eleniel went wide-eyed, she hadnt seen her in a while. Thranduil had them working hard, constantly. This really was a pleasant surprise. "Tauriel..." Eleniel said in disbelief. Tauriel eyed the strangers and hoped Eleniel was taking them to Thranduil. Eleniel gathered her words. What was she to say? Admit she was with them? Or lie to a friend. but before Eleniel could speak, Tauriel embraced her and whispered into her ear. Given Tauriel's warning, Eleniel assumed that the taller she-elf was already aware of what was really going on. However...did the others?

Eleniel had no choice but to go along with it. If they were really listening, like the red-headed elf had explained, then it wasnt safe for Eleniel to explain to the others. She nodded,"Thats right, caught them setting up camp. They say theyre just passing through, but one cannot say for sure..." she turned to look at the group with a displeased look. If she was going to play it safe, then she couldnt act friendly toward her new companions. Eleniel was a little nervous about crossing paths with Tauriel. Yes she was a friend, but if they both wanted to slip under the radar, and not get caught, then they just may have to confront Thranduil. Especially if Tauriel was with her followers.

Toxin put Grace down whilst Eleniel dealt with the she-elf. If there was going to be a fight, he didn't want to be lugging Grace around on his back.

''Thranduil will be pleased. Come.''
Tauriel turned and slowly lowered her open palm downward, gesturing to her followers to stay their shots. Tauriel began to lead Eleniel towards Thranduil's keep.

Toxin watched as the she-elf walked onwards. He put his hand on his bow, ready to draw it if necessary.

''So what's going on here?'' he asked.

Tauriel turned and watched Toxing for a moment.

''Your to come with us or die...'' she said, smiling. ''Please, be calm. Thranduil is a king and noble king, he will listen to reason. Now, shall we?'' she lifted hes arm and gestured towards the forest ahead of her.

Eleniel swallowed a lump of nervousness down her throat. It fell all the way to her stomach and churned. This was the situation Eleniel feared the most. Eleniel did her best to keep her composure, which she was very skilled in, and remained calm...on the surface that is. In reality she wasnt so calm. She feared what was to come. Not for herself but for the others. Eleniel knew very well she could take care of herself, and shes witnessed the group's skills...but she hasnt seen them against the elite elves that belonged to Thranduil. The white-haired elf bowed respectably to Tauriel, no arguing, no protest, it had to be done.

Eleniel moved along past Tauriel, her gut wishing the others wont follow. There was a sprt of security that came from being around Tauriel. Eleniel trusted her, and knew shed help if she must. Sapphire eyes scanned the forest floor, being careful as to not trip over things. Even though her eyes were directed to the ground, her mind was elsewhere. She thought of two things that could come out of this situation. Either Thranduil will take their word and show them hospitality (hopefully throw a feast...Eleniel started to miss the Vegitarian ways of the elves..) or...the total opposite in which theyd be imprisoned. Lets hope its not the later of the two..

Despite this issue, Eleniel had one of her own. What Thranduil heard she went rogue? Shed have to face her own trial. Even if he didnt find out, letting her go wont be easy. 'Maybe i can request to escort them out of the forest and never come back....' she tried to devise a plan on their walk.

Talvin didnt know what to believe. Either Eleniel went turn coat, or the odds were stacked against us that we had to obey. Either way, he wasnt happy. He carefully listened for how many elves had their arrows pointed. He wouldnt deny, trying to get past this lot would be a challenge. Then he remembered the mushroom in his pocket. If he could get close enough to Tauriel, he could set it off in her face and get everyone to scatter. Plus, the spores could make for good cover if they burst like a cloud.

He walked forward, bumping Toxin while tapping on Talvins pocket, indicated the handkerchief tip poking out.

"Respectively, as I said to Eleniel," He said giving her a stern eye before focusing back on Tauriel, "We were passing through on the outskirts. It was either that or stroll through Gundabad."

''I do not care, tell Thranduil, he is expecting you.'' Tauriel glanced over the group before walking towards Talvin. She got within a few feet of him. She looked into his eyes and-

Toxin pulled at the handkerchiefs tip but, as he had no idea what was inside, was unable to prevent the mushroom from falling to the ground. It landed with a thunk on the ground, doing nothing.

''Why are you carrying mushrooms?'' Tauriel asked, confused as what Toxin's plan had accomplished.

Toxin looked at the mushroom and stood on it, trying to cover it up.

The it went off.

A clear cloud of yellow erupted from the mushroom, engulfing Toxin, Talvin, Grace, Tauriel and Glimmer.

Toxin tried to fan the cloud of spores away from him-

-and he did for a moment, but the cloud surrounded him so completely that he was unable to keep it at bay for long. He breathed the spores in and felt fine.

He looked over at Grace and tried to move her out of the cloud but found that he couldn't because his hands were made of tongues.

''EgaspardeEST!'' he said, spitting all over the inside of his mask.

Tauriel jumped back a little when the mushroom went off but was still caught in the blast. She-

-fell fell backwards then, unable to escape the spores. She breathed them in as she turned and ran from Toxin and into the trees.

''My arrows are singing too loud, assist me!'' she screamed, helpless against the power of the spores.

There was a rustling in the trees and seconds later a flight of elves rushed on after Tauriel.

Talvin was caught by surprise when Toxin stepped on the mushroom. He pulled his cloak over his mouth...

and luckily had it just in time before the spores when into his nose.

"Not part of the plan, but lets go with it!" He said to himself. He quickly searched around for his companions and found Toxin fumbling around with his hands. The poor bastard must have breathed it in. He moved to throw Grace over his shoulder and while he wrapped the cloak around his mouth and nose, he grabbed Toxins shoulder, trying to get his attention. "Focus! You breathed the mushroom in! Whatever you're seeing is the after effects! We need to go before we're being rained on by arrows!"

He returned to picking up Grace ad throwing her over his shoulder.

He then looked around for the others, worried for their safety.

Glimmer barely saw the mushroom before Toxin stepped on it. She tried to back away....

[dice]6043[/dice]

And was able to get back far enough that it didn't effect her. She thought she might have seen a Pegasus in the trees to her left, then realized that she may have just breathed in a small amount of the mushroom fumes. She covered her face with her cloak and went over to Toxin. "Toxin?" She grabbed his arm and started pulling. She knew that he was stronger than her so she wouldn't be able to pull him away if he fought her. Hopefully he had enough presence of mind to know who she was.

Toxin saw Sauron grab his mother and tackled him to the ground as a jellyfish spoke his name. When the three of them went tumbling he made sure his mother landed safely on a pile of kittens before beginning to hold Sauron down with is spare hands. Spit dripped from his mask onto Sauron.

''Geehe!'' shrieked, realising whom he faced. He looked back at his mother, still asleep on the kittens before he began to fire lightning from his hands via a complicated movement of his arms. Sauron would taste his wrath.

Glimmer quickly released Toxin's arm and took a half step back. She pulled out her wand and looked at Talvin. "Should I use a containment bubble to hold him still?" She asked, glancing back at Toxin. "I don't want him to hurt us or himself."

Well that was just great. A hallucinogen exploded behind Eleniel. Luckily she had passed Tauriel and was far enough to be unaffected. Still, just for precautions, she covered her nose and mouth with her hood. Unfortunately, her elvish friend was hit and she fled into the forest along with her troop. Eleniel wanted to stop her and ask her to come back, but she was out of it, it was best she returned anyway and recieved the attention she needed.

Eleniel turned around to watch the others as they frantically planned an escape. Glimmer trying to tend to Toxin, and Talvin with Grace over his shoulder. Her face still covered, she briskly jogged to catch up with them,"We need to get out of here now! Before they come back! We can still make it to the river!" she said. However it was easier said than done, Toxin wasnt in his right mind, and Talvin would be slowed when carrying Grace. It would take a while, but they can make it.

"Good!" Talvin started off as he stood up with Grace over his shoulder. "Ok, I need you to stay on point. Moon! Glimmer! Take Toxin and bring him with. Knock him out if you have to, but we need to keep moving until we get to the river. We can loose them there if we hurry!"

Talvin broke into a rush, following Eleniels lead. Grace was slowing him down, but he made good time keeping up with her. He drew his sword just in case some of the elves stayed behind to pay them back for the mushroom explosion.

Moon and Glimmer each grabbed on of Toxin's arms and they pulled him along, going as fast as they could make him go.

Toxin laughed as his parents lifted him through the skies.

''Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!'' his proclamation of joy was soon turned into a snore as he dozed off.

Three elven warriors walked out in front of the group, their bows drawn and aimed in the groups general direction.

''STOP!'' Tauriel shouted from behind the group. Her face seemed a little dirtier than before and some of her armour was misplaced but otherwise appeared to be normal.

''Why must we fight? Eleniel, talk sense to your friends. You know I shant let harm come to you...'' Tauriel's words were performed loudly, her voice carrying through the forest so that she could be sure Eleniel heard her.

Toxin woke, hearing the voice and quickly pulled himself from Glimmer and Moon's grasp. He crawled along the ground for a bit before returning to sleep.

Eleniel nodded when Talvin instructed her to take point. They manged to get closer to the river but before they could reach it, elvish guards blocked their path. Eleniel stumbled to a halt. She drew no weapon, normally she would have, but doing so would make her seem traitorous. Tauriel spoke loudly behind her,"Fight?" Eleniel's eyebrows raised and she turned around,"Friends? Im just traveling with them," she shook her head. Eleniel went back to the problem at hand and spoke in elvish,"We are not trying to fight. We were just going our own way, trying to avoid Thranduil. Please...let us pass." Eleniel spoke with reason. She sounded a little surprised with the word 'fight' then she sounded more argumentative when trying to explain that her new group was just minding their own business.

Tauriel thought for a few ling seconds before answering.

''
And what's to happen to me? I'll have to deal with Thranduil in your stead if I let you go...'' she walked towards Eleniel now, occasionally slumbering over a branch or rock due to the remaining effects of the spores.

''
What would you have me do?'' Tauriel asked Eleniel when close enough.

Talvin looked back and forth at Tauriel and Eleniel. He didnt understand a word of elvish, but he heard the name come up more than once. Eleniel did leave on harsh terms. Still, it was clear the she-elf leading her troops cared more about Eleniel than the rest of the group. She was still stumbling, so she wasnt that much of a threat. At least he hoped so.

But at the rate they came on us and how slow Talvin's group moved, they couldnt out run them. Not unless they were still kept busy.

You're testing fate a lot more on luck. We stay, we're dead. We fight them all, we're dead. I'm out of options here, dammit!

Taking a breath, he gently put Grace down on the ground. He then turned to Glimmer. "Glimmer. We need some cover. Try and summon a mist. I'll buy you some time."

Turning his attention to the three archers before him, he drew his Morgul blade. The black steel glinted for a second and...

[dice]6112[/dice] he rolled on the floor to avoid any incoming fire, but when he swiped his sword upwards, rather than try to take the bows out of two of the archers hands, all he did was cut the tip off one of the arrows. Clearly these guys were no push overs. He was still kneeling on the floor, so he could roll away if he timed it right. But that was a huge 'if'.

Glimmer nodded at Talvin and closed her eyes to concentrate. Slowly a mist drifted in until she couldn't see anyone else very well. She opened her eyes and saw Talvin kneeling. She wrinkled her forehead, not sure what to do. She tried to thicken the mist between him and the elves, but couldn't form a shield with her powers being used to bring in the mist everywhere else.

Moon drew his sword quietly and got into a fight ready stance.

The guards fired their arrows at Talvin, one of them unaware of his arrow being blunt.

Tauriel saw the commotion and rushed the guards.

'
'I DID NOT GIVE THE ORDER TO FIRE!'' she screamed, distressed by how her day was going.

Toxin dreampt of swimming in a pile of gold.

Talvin's eyes widened and soon...

[dice]6127[/dice]

The first arrow he dodged with ease, the second was closest an inevitably hit him, but with the end blunted it just grazed his cheek leaving a few splinters, and the third he grabbed in mid-air. Armed in both hands, he did some quick thinking and...

[dice]6128[/dice]

With the hilt of his sword, he pushed himself up with his feet and thrust the end and the hilt upwards, making a crunching sound against the nearest archers nose. He fell back, holding the bloody mess on his face in a panic. He turned his attention to the other two and...

[dice]6129[/dice]

tried to stab the arrow into one of their knees, but the other archer stepped backwards, seeing it coming. The arrow dug into the soft ground, and before Talvin could react, the archer kicked forward and sent Talvin falling back with a bloody mouth. Quickly picking himself up, he kept his sword ready but was having a hard time with the loud ringing in his ears.

Tauriel threw herself between Talvin and the guard that kicked him.

''Stop!'' she pushed the guard back with her arm before turning to attend to Talvin. ''Are you all right?'' she asked, offering her hand to help him up.

The other guard went to assist his friend whilst the guard behind Talvin loaded another arrow onto his bow.

Toxin dreamt of someone trying to steal his gold.

Eleniel thought for a moment. She took a deep breath and crossed her arms,"Tell him you killed me..." she said bluntly in english. She nodded,"Tell him, i refused to go back. This was none of your fault. Even if you dont lie to him and say i died by your hand, you can tell him i made my choice. And that ypu went after me but we escaped..." she shrugged and shook her head,"Tell him anything really."

The sharpness of Talvin's sword being drawn instantly grabbed Eleniel's attention. Her head snapped to him and before she could even attempt to stop him he had already begun attacking. There was an itch in her heart, she wanted to help him. She wanted to get in there but she couldnt. She knew the elves, she is an elf, she didnt have the heart to attack her kin. Yes Eleniel could be harsh at times, but her heart was in the right place, she could never do such a thing.

She wasnt sure what to do. She didnt want Talvin hurt but she didnt want the guard to be either. She couldnt do anything but watch. She grew nervous. The guards were tough, as Eleniel knew, but once Talvin took a hard blow, sending him to the ground, she couldnt just sit and do nothing. She was going to step in, but Tauriel beat her to the punch. Eleniel let her, she had to, Tauriel was in charge of them now, they had to listen to her. From the corner of her sapphire eyes, Eleniel spotted one of the guards loading an arrow.

"Don't." Eleniel had drawn her bow with blinding speed. She aimed at the guard, she didnt want to, infact she didnt realize what she was doing until a moment after. She wasnt planning on releasing, but hoped her bluff would stop him.

Talvin blinked at Tauriel when the hand was offered. It was a surprise considering the sudden scuffle. He looked at the archer with his arrow notched, but followed Eleniels voice before he did. She made it clear as clear can be that she wanted nothing to do with Thranduil now. Still, he could tell the she-elf offering her hand cared for her greatly. Every friend regrets losing their own.

Looking back at the hand offere, he gently took it and pulled himself up. The ringing in his ears dying down. At the moment it was a stand off between the groups. The rest of the scouts must have scattered, and it was just two incapacitated, with one archer keeping sights on Talvin, Eleniel on him, and Tauriel in killing distance if things sparked off again.

For once, we cant afford to strike now. We tempted fate already, lets not gamble a third time.

Talvin concurred with the spirits statement. He withdrew the blade into the scabbard, hoping Tauriel was none the wiser to notice. Then again, the darkness of Mirkwood helped in the right places.

"She chose to come with us." Talvin said, trying to sound sincere. "I'm sorry you had to find out this way, but she's leaving with us of her own accord. I'd rather not start killing people now, but if you persist, we will retaliate. All we want is a way to the other side of Mirkwood. Nothing more."

Tauriel thought on Talvin's words.

''...go.'' she said after almost a minute of silence.

''
Tauriel, you can't let them!'' the elf guard said over Eleniel, ignoring her completely.

Tauriel looked over at the guard, then back to Talvin, her eyes meeting his.

''Go.'' she said once more.

They had stolen from him. Now the world would burn.

Toxin rose and began to run to the mountain, to his gold.

It called to him.

He wanted it.

He needed it.

''MINE!!!'' he shouted, his voice distorted and rough.

Glimmer released the spell that held the mist there and slid her wand back in her belt when the elves left. "Toxin!" She exclaimed when she heard him yell. She ran to where she had last seen him go. "Toxin?" She called quietly.

Grace woke as her nose filed with mist and she felt confused but seeing Toxin run instinctively followed him but her leg gave way as she tried to run and she fell back down ''MOON!'' she yelled hoping that he would come and help her follow Toxin.
