This roleplay will mainly be set in the fictional city of Cokaygne. A with a population just short of a million.

Having once been famed as one of America's leading industrial cities, it has long since been on a decline.

Nowadays, it's only claim to fame is the large amount of corruption among the city's officials' and it's steadily increasing crime-rate

Spoiler: Magical Girls

Note: I'm gonna use the term magical girl purely because everyone knows what that term entail. I really want to stress that characters in this rp can be of any gender they want.

While transformed all magical girls gain peak-human strength, speed and durability.

Spoiler: Heralds

Heralds are the creature that bave been tasked with recruiting the Magical Girls.

They typically take the form of talking animals, but they can also take on the appearance of mythical creatures as well.

Heralds can only be seen and interacted with by those possessing the potential to become magical girls.

They still get to pick powers based on other things associated with their source. A character based on, say, Odin could get berserk based powers for example.

Depends really. An adult character could have been recruited later than a child character was.

Nope. Sorry, but Lovecraftian mythos doesn't really work with this setting.

Any particular reason that one dosent work despite other ones working as so far all are Greek gods with one being unclear if they are the harvest god or time God version

Aside from Lovecraftian mythos being fictional, Lovecraftian elements don't work in non-horror settings.
