Or perhaps,because Benzaiten possessed a biwa lute,they might have the ability to create temporary effects by playing music.

much apprieciated! Those do sound good as a base to start there. Makes me think regarding equipment. Does it have to be a shape of weapon? I was thinking of an instrument as a standard equipment or somethong akin to a more traditionap magical girl wand even.
