I think either way would be interesting, but for the character arc it might be better to have them start doubting later on. Maybe Smoke is perceived as “compromised” and some killers are sent after them.

That would be... interesting to see. Aurox and Shadow would be like two peas in a pod: both struggle with their emotions in some sense; and both rely on drugs of a kind for their day-to-day lives.

I would be down- though to be completely honest I’m not sure if a new recruit would be given that position so early, unless Merry took some specific interest in him.

Definitely a cool idea (they could even grow together in strength) but I’d think Merry would need to play into that angle aswell if ( Syan ) it would make sense for Merry’s character aswell.

Oh, I don't think they mean master in a professional sense, but more in the sense of a personal mentor: a mentor in the ways of human Existenz.

Oh ABSOLUTELY then, excited to flesh it out. Aurox has pretty much mastered reading body language and reading other people’s emotions but isn’t perfect at understanding people’s motives or feelings for each other- could be interesting for him to sort of teach someone the ways. Overall sounds perfect to me, just gotta make it happen LOL

I feel like playing a narcissistic piece of shit baron or price of some sort that wants to leverage the turmoil to increase his power and rankings. Not necessarily an independent noble honestly, maybe some sort of authority related to the crown. A bit Littlefinger-esque. Reckon that would work in this narrative?

Maybe they are the ones who set up a job with the B.D., or are forced to take refuge with them if (consider this) they are being targeted by a group, or have riled up the wrong beehive.
