Fantasy The Worst Pantheon: Live and Reloaded (IC Thread) (OPEN)

OOC
Here
The fireball followed Matatabi as she started to run, laughing as it pursued her. And when the Tailed Beast started firing smaller versions of her bomb attack, the giant fireball waited until they got close enough before opening it's giant mouth and started swallowing them whole, all the while it made a strange "Waka-Waka" noise. And when the bombs exploded inside of it, the ball of green fire just belched.

But it seemed like the burps were not the only the bombs elicited. It seemed like Nergal's newest creations was actually getting bigger as it devoured the mini Beast Bombs. And since the thing was already pretty big, it's safe to say that bad things would happen if it was able to hit it's target.

He is consuming my Chakra...!

Matatabi's eyes widened slightly at the sight of the Chakra eating creature coming towards her. She continued moving about at high speed through the empty mountain ranges, wind billowing, and the ground shaking as her four paws moved her about far away from the creature. Her Chakra reserves were still relatively full- but not in a way that would allow her to fully compete against this creature. Even so...Her eyes looking behind her at times, allowing her to catch glimpses of the creature.

It's made out of fire...Likely Warp energy? That means...

The Two Tail's mind went back at what she did that caused this creature to pop. It likely was that creature's 'true form' after its body was destroyed...But...One of the reasons she did the Tailed Beast Bomb was to absorb and destroy some of the energy being sent to her by making it enter and be overwhelmed by the power of her Chakra, and the 'flux' and movement of the bomb. As such...!

She stopped running- sliding across the earth, dust rose- the creature was a decent distance away. Good, she can finish this!

Matatabi's mouth opened again. That same energy and ratio she formed from earlier forming in her mouth. But...This was different. The grinning face would soon see what she was doing- it was like the area in front of her mouth was pulling everything around it near. Trees, rocks, snow, some wildlife from the mountain rages...And the air. As such, the grinning face would find it's energy and fiery body being led to it...!

It felt like a hurricane- the strongest in that area. The ground shook, as the dense energy bomb would continue sucking, and sucking, and sucking-- until the creature was completely into it, moving and being ripped about by its flux and dense energy 'crushing' it and 'blending it.' Matatabi's flames faltered for a bit, as she put most of her Chakra into this bomb, feeling her form weaken, and...

Bijuu...Dama!

Swush
The same event happened again. The bomb was shot high in the air, although much more quietly. Almost like a single dot going up to the sky, but going higher than the previous one.

Soon, it stopped.

And once more, story repeated itself- as an even mightier explosion occurred in the sky of the mountain ranges- Clouds disappeared. Some winds moved about by the impact and force, making even Matatabi able to feel it, as the creature's self exploded in multiple random directions, breaking it apart by the force of the explosion, and the directions it went with immense power from the Two Tails- the which that slowly panted, laying down on the ground, her body...Smaller, nowhere near as big as she was before...

Silence came, as Matatabi looked up at the sky again, and with tired legs and body, she slowly and tiredly moved towards her cavern deep into the valley.

Ocaeril just sorta screamed as Helsa did as well- his hands going up to his head, clutching his brain as veins popped up in a very notable manner despite the fact he was a god. "Oh my god, chill, chill! Stop screaming! I'm fucking- This is bullshittium, Helsa! You already have seen it a hundred times now!" Ocaeril yelled out, his eyes not noting the feather, or the fact that Eva had snatched it, instead only annoyance and a massive headache coming from his pseudo-brain and his Rinne-Sharingan.

Breatheeeee iiiin...Breaaaathe oooout...

Haaah...

Okay.

Situation analyzed. Plan in mind. Calm somewhat achieved. Annoyance still at its max. Relief currently has no idea whether if it shows in or not. Ocaeril really shouldn't be dealing with this whatever the fuck familiar creature- and he won't. But he can't let it do whatever it wants. As such, multiple clones appeared around and next to each god, one grabbed Eva piggyback style, other picking up Inqui bridal style, another landing on top of Tiamat's heading and stretching his rubber-like arms to pull her, and another two just sorta pulling Arceus and carrying Helsa through his shoulders, all jumping through a portal towards to the material world in a random location like they were soldiers dropping off a plane to the warzone alongside his companions and family.

All three/four of Ocaeril's eyes focused on his hands, as they started to form a small...Glowing white ball on his hand. Entropy acted, pulling out all the infinite unused energy in this system due to it being a Void, as well as his own Sphere acting as such before a condensed ball of pure energy was formed in his hands.

"I won't call this something cheesy like Big Bang Rassengan or whatever, I'm too tired and it'd be dumb and misleading," He said to particularly no one- the ball of pure density and energies being completed, as he aimed it at the sultan's general direction before he spoke again. "But, eat this, your enormous fucking baby, and go back to your crib for a few hundred years. This one is in the house."

With a simple movement of his hand, Ocaeril released the Entropy Ball, sending it flying towards Azathoth- and before it even was halfway to him, he made 'V' signs with both his arms, before falling back into a portal behind him like a scuba diver, falling where the other gods were.

With a resounding thud, Ocaeril landed wherever else everyone else was, and simply floated, currently laying down on his back.

"
We did it, guys...Yaaaay...? I'm sorry I don't sound excited or have something dramatic to say, I'm just- exhauuuuusted."

After being removed from the void, it was when she was holding the Imhullu and the triforce close to herself. The family stayed close from beginning to end, and by that time.... Well, Tiamat noticed she'll need to change back. She's on the move, going for the nearest body of water, sea or not, so she can change back to her origin-physical forme. She felt tired. She felt.. relieved. She still had her tears from her consciousness, and she was still hugging everything close, afraid to lose the family of the triforce once again.

"Aaah, wellll... we wonnn, and now, I wonder about making arrangements... to see family, outside of... battle. Ahhhaaahhh." ... well, she has to. Oca, Inqui, even Eva would need to learn about her past generation before they came along. But also, she has to return the Triforce to the Tritons, as she promised. How were they holding up with the master sword? They could be doing well. A future wielder would be chosen for next generation, maybe a incarnate in future notes.

As for how the family could unite, from old ghosts to new, it will be a long process. That is, hard for the goddess to think about emotionally. Advice may be needed. With a sigh, she can be relieved to know that the family of gods, and the world, would be safe from another threat once again. The spirits of Abzu, Kingu and Lahamu join respectfully alongside her, and look among the others.

"Gee mommy, you work so hard to keep everyone safe, but y'know, even though we're spirits, we worry about your stresses." Lahamu spoke with worried, starry eyes. "Our power was enough to defeat that baddie, buuuut... I think, even if we were remade anew, some way or another, our bonds and our powers will still be the same! Heehee!"

"That may be so, sister Lahamu, but even if reborn, we may not stay the same. It's a long process for mother to comprehend doing unless there's a way to preserve true familial love and our traits among generations." Kingu chimed in, with a calm manner. "It would still be nice to be united in more than one way, heh."

"Well, if it's how you all view it... well, if we were needed to be re-born, we'd need advice from other gods on how to be re-born, and maybe re-incarnated. Any solution can help us unite better, from our old ghosts to new forms. We'll see it to the fullest, my children, and my love." Abzu finished, with a kiss on Tiamat's forehead from above. It's uncertain if she did feel it, but to hear them is something that calms the goddess.

Tiamat nodded, and looked at the other gods, feeling triumphant and relaxed. Still tired, since Dragonoid takes a lot of energy to do anything such as a last stand.

Back and forth. Up and down. The ball of green fire was knocked about in all directions by the mighty explosion. Chunks of it were broken off, and to make matters even worse it, it was becoming more and more 'disoriented'. So much so that it was actually starting to lose control of itself.

Unstable, the thing lost control of itself, and so, it exploded. Like a balloon, the ball of green fire expanded until it eventually 'popped', sending a unleashing a wave of chaotic energy. The skies above Nekomatus were filled with bright lights, and the island was showered with a wave Nergal's mutating energy. Though, due to it the fact it wasn't being directly controlled by Nergal, the effects were far less damaging than they could of been.

And this was happening, a small, green orb soared through the sky, right in the direction of the Jade Empire.

Squeeeaaak...
Indeed, the corruptive energy was nowhere as bad as what Nergal had intended, but it would still perhaps leave some undesirable effects on the citizens of the Nekomatus. Perhaps some mild mutations on wildlife, nature, and the Nekomatus themselves, with some children being birthed oddly, and in ways that the Nekomatus might not expect, with maybe even Nekos looking like the 'males' of other species being born. But of course, that was just a maybe- and if it was the case or not, it was perhaps nothing compared to the innocent creatures that got hit by the corrective energy the most...

In small forested lands, after the battle between Matatabi and Nergal, small rodents exited their now destroyed homes- but were unfortunate enough to be caught up by the corrective energy that Nergal let out after his apparent 'death...'

One of these many victims, a common forest rat, looked up at the sky with wonder at the pretty lights that almost seemed like some sort of fireworks show- and unknown to him, as he looked up...He got bigger, and bigger, and bigger...And soon, he soon realized his hand was reaching upwards- a human hand, still a bit furry-like and dirty due to his lifestyle, but, soon, with a mixture of a squeak and a yelp of surprise, the rat looked down on his body- and with confusion and newfound intelligence, he rushed over to a nearby puddle, and saw his new form...

9b6b1328d4f24322621515c099245f4c--ratatouille-pixar.jpg

...Oh dear!
"...Mon chéri!"
Placing a hand on his mouth, the rat-man quicky thought of things he wasn't capable of before. Who was he? Why is he suddenly human-like? Oh dear, there's dead bodies nearby! Looking about nervously, he wondered what to do. Well, he can't stay here! Maybe there are others of his species that evolved to look like this? Oh dear...He's hungry too...Before, he had no problems with eating dead bodies, but...It feels too disrespectful! And disgusting!

With quick hands, his claws quickly dug down graves for the dead Nekomatus, his rat-like physiology allowing him to do quick work, before digging down little graves for them. Right...This should do it...Maybe their bodies could help grow back this portion of the forest...

Wrapping his body around a cloak, the mutated rat began picking up herbs, fruit, and other things that could be eatable and prepared into a proper meal, as he began walking away through the forest, hoping he can find more like him...And he doesn't know why, but he feels the need to cook a proper meal...Maybe it was the years of eating raw and disgusting foliage and other bugs and this making so he explores higher standards, but...

He really liked the idea of cooking...Maybe he can spread that with people of his species or other people...Yeah, cooking doesn't seem too bad.

The rat man smiled, as he hummed a little song he made up on the spot with his newfound, slightly high pitched voice.

Dreams are to lovers as wine is to friends
Carried through lifetimes, (and) spilled now and then
I am driven by hunger, so saddened to be
Thieving in darkness; I know you're not pleased
But nothing worth eating is free
My hope is a banquet impatiently downed Impossibly full, now I'll probably drown
Many thieves' lives are lonely with one mouth to feed If giving means taking, I'll never succeed
For nothing worth stealing is...
Free at last; won't be undersold
Surviving isn't living; won't eat what I'm told
Let me free, I'll astonish you; I'm planning to fly
I won't let this party just pass me by
The banquet is now underway, so...
Bring out the bottles; a new tale has spun
In clearing this table, my new life's begun
I am nervous, excited; (oh) just read the marquee!
A lifetime of hiding; I'm suddenly free! My dinner is waiting for me
A lifetime of hiding; I'm suddenly free! My dinner is waiting for me

Helsa was going to start screaming at him again, but then the Big Bang Rassengan happened and Ocaeril landed on the ground.

"I do not recall seeing anything like that before..." Helsa groaned, the stress of the situation finally hitting her. "And yet, I can no longer bring myself to care."

...

"Hey, someone carry me back to my island, I'm tired." Helsa randomly said.

Whatever ocaeril did, regardless of what exactly it was or how it worked, it certainly did something, but due to the complete ignorance of some extradimensional being of what that actually was, it would not be committed to writing. Inqui, Helsa and Eva's projectiles would sail off into the distant void, though given zemrasil's nigh-invisibility in these conditions it would be unsure if they had connected. Arceus, meanwhile, would become very well acquainted with the face of the bird-demon, if only for a few moments before judgement was cast, seeming to cause the owl-like creature to fade into the void, though whether it had been slain or teleported somewhere would be uncertain. Azathoth would be sadly disappointed as it would only be met with empty space in this pocket dimension, and the rest of the gods would behold its corpulent form which despite the its ever-shifting nature had a slight grace to it, almost like a fat dog in the process of hurling itself down a flight of stairs. While the remains of Zemrasil could not be seen, something could most definitely be heard

    . . .

That being, nothing. Nothing at all, total silence in the oblivion of this dimension. With the endless black sea and distant screaming of azathoth, the whole of the pantheon got the feeling they had seen the last of Zemrasil short of someone making a terrible mistake.

That is not to say the beast was entirely gone. Were they to search this void, they might find something, though Azathoth would likely be the one to find it first. A single black feather drifting in the open space, emitting an eerie glow. Whatever properties it held, well, that would have to be discovered.
Inqui took a deep breath and threw away her sword as it dissipated into the Throne.

The deed was done, death came to the false one, and so on and so on.

She wondered why how did Aqua deal with this constantly.

    Oh yeah, booze.
With a resounding thud, Ocaeril landed wherever else everyone else was, and simply floated, currently laying down on his back.

    "
We did it, guys...Yaaaay...? I'm sorry I don't sound excited or have something dramatic to say, I'm just- exhauuuuusted."

Inqui looked at Ocaeril and smiled as her armor disappeared and she plopped down next to Ocaeril as she placed her beloved's head on her soft lap.

    "A...long...hard...battle...begets...a...worthy...reward...my...love...and..rest..you...must..my..great..hero"

She then simply continued to pat Ocaeril's head comfortingly.
"Hey, someone carry me back to my island, I'm tired." Helsa randomly said.
Inqui nodded as another instance of her came up and motioned for Helsa to allow her to carry her on her back and carry out her friend's request.

Ocaeril's eyes slowly moved away from staring unblinkingly at the sky from looking at Tiamat. His Yin Yang Chakra made him feel something- beings from the spiritual world moving about, unknown to most other gods. His Rinne-Sharingan was weakened, so he couldn't get a full view of them, but...He could at least see familiar shapes that he never met before. A man, and two younglings that were around his age...Family he never met, yet whom he was connected to. His eyes were unblinking- as he simply stared quietly at Tiamat as she slowly recovered, a look of slight wonder on his face.

"Hey, mom, just now, those three were my...?"

...Ocaeril was ready to say 'Dad, sister, brother', but alas, a certain corruption goddess made a quite ridiculous request that unfortunately to everyone involved, was completely in-character to her. Not only it killed the moment, but also made Ocaeril stare at her with an expression that essentially leaked out disappointment and expectancy.
"No, no. Helsa, stop, you can teleport, you can just--"

But alas, much to Ocaeril's dismay, his wife already was offering a piggyback ride to a lazy friend that he called 'Helsa.' Thankfully enough, she didn't seem to be having her mental breakdown again, which was a good thing, but really, he isn't sure what he expected from her. He knew the evil (but really just corruption due how much she used that) goddess for a while, so, requests like these while amusing in some situations, but? In situations like these? They were really tiring.

But, soon, those feelings boiled away as Ocaeril felt his head being gently placed on top of something warm and soft. He blinked a few times, as again, his eyes moved upwards, to see-

...Oh.

His face became heated. A little frown with embarrassment (but not denial) soon appeared on his face, as his usually cold face became filled with heat, a red tint appearing on them. He wanted to say something like 'not in front of everyone' and something like that to Inqui, but he soon found as if he couldn't. Because one: He was indeed exhausted, and two: Who cares? It's not like they're having that little thing they talked about.

...Oh, right. They won. Ocaeril scratched his nose. Heh.

"
...Okay, yeah, who am I kidding. I'm DONE doing anything for a while. Seriously, try dealing with four apocalypses in a row in the last few cycles. Ugh." Nymphids, Dark Narus, Zyr, and whatnot...Seriously. Give him a break. It's hard to even talk politely like he usually does too- He hasn't even made anything to mortal kind aside from one thing in what feels like months. Most of his actions are used dealing with the shit others throw out like that. And he still has to deal with Original and Tanya...Or rather, his other shard. But he could still see things through him. "Eva, be a good girl and make sure nothing explodes? You'll be all grown-up next cycle- a proper adult. So you're gonna finally start having grown-up...Responsibilities. And Arceus, thanks for the save. Keep doing what you do, man."

...That felt awkward to say on so many levels. He doesn't know why. Maybe it was exhaustion. Who knew the literal planet could become tired, huh.

"Seriously though. I'm taking a break. At most I'll use actions to help out in some things and ensure nothing explodes, but that's it from me for a while. I really need to chill."

Ocaeril shrugged, although, truth be told, he was a bit embarrassed as Inquui just hugged him like that. Man, she's really soft...It doesn't beat the feeling of a bed, but it feels emotionally superior. Haaah...

Snap snap. Concentrate a reply and don't fall asleep now, Oca. You're still the planet. Have some standards.

"I dunno, rest in our home? Tend to a garden? Maybe pop out a second kid and sibling to Eva? I guess I'll figure it out as time passes forward. I'll entrust Tanya's safety and everyone else's in all of your capable hands...Unless some of you want to rest a bit like me, too." Cough cough. Inqui. The little promise they made for each other at the start of the cycle before fighting Narus. He's not gonna rub it in her face, though.

Stretching his body, Ocaeril cracked his fingers and everything else in-between of his body. Right, his shard should also be finished dealing with stuff shortly...Hopefully, things don't escalate.

"I don't care." Helsa said...and then that happened.

"...seriously Inqui? Is this really the time? I know you two are into each other, but is this really the time?" Helsa said, stumbling to her feet and faceplanting onto-and into, due to her being slime-Inqui's back.

"...I may not have thought this through." She burbled, pulling her head out.

Despite the fact Ocaeril let out a gentle snort at Helsa's silliness and falling over, he didn't find that worth of his attention or calling out- no, it was easy to make fun of that situation, as hilarious as it was. But Ocaeril was a man that went deeper when he teased someone. Principally when it was Helsa, of course.

"Eeeh~? What's that~? The corruption goddess saying that isn't the time for flirting or inappropriate jokes~? Oh my, I know I said you shouldn't follow your Sphere and what it represents as a personality, but y'know, it's almost as if you're jealous~ Could it be you're not getting action~? Fufufufu."

Aaah~ that felt good. He stretched some more, the sound of rubber coming from his fake skin, but even so, it felt good to simply relax like this.

Rage. That was what Nergal felt as he soared through the sky like a comet. A great, all-consuming rage that grew more and more as each second passed. His plan getting interrupted. Him being forced to retreat by that damn cat creature. All of it only served as fuel for the inferno.

Well, that wasn't the only thing he was feeling at the moment. Nergal also felt more than a little pain. Although he managed to survive, he didn't escape unscathed. Those Beast Bombs inflicted some nasty wounds. His flesh was charred, ,his body was missing a few chunks, and worst of all, he lost an arm and a leg. His regeneration ensured that this would not be permanent, but it did nothing stop the agony he was currently enduring. Even as flesh regrew and limbs started to spout from smoking stumps, the pain went on and on with no end in sight.

Nergal soared through the sky for a day and night, before eventually crashing down into a lake located near a remote village. He landed in the water with a large splash, before sinking down into it's murky depths.

Mentally, she sent a message at Inqui. This means nothing.

"...Hmph. You're learning a lot. I guess it was to be expected. Oh well~"

Opening a little portal, showing eyes and Void limbs, Ocaeril pulled out a little paper fan, and gently fanned himself while still laying down. His boys were alive! Looks like they somehow escaped the clutches of the Warp. Probably due to being carried by Oca himself and his Sphere. While they did give a shaky thumbs-up before the gap in reality closed itself, they seemed to be fine for the most part. "But, I'm not saying anything. Though you did say some suspicious things when you first saw my new style. You're the one who's saying those things, you know. Be careful."

Still the perfect counter. Regardless, Ocaeril stood still, watching if any other gods would say anything before he himself did anything as well.

Inqui raised an eyebrow till she realized what her beloved husband meant. A sly smirk grew on Inqui face as she traces a finger on Ocaeril's cheek.

"Oh...you...later...I'll...give...your...reward...hero~" Inqui said in an almost flirtatious tone.

"...seriously Inqui? Is this really the time? I know you two are into each other, but is this really the time?" Helsa said, stumbling to her feet and faceplanting onto-and into, due to her being slime-Inqui's back.

"...I may not have thought this through." She burbled, pulling her head out.
The other instance of Inqui simply giggled and helped Helsa get out of her, not minding that the parts of her that touched Helsa still curdled and popped from the constant melting and reformation due to Helsa's corruptive essence.

Despite the fact Ocaeril let out a gentle snort at Helsa's silliness and falling over, he didn't find that worth of his attention or calling out- no, it was easy to make fun of that situation, as hilarious as it was. Aaah~ that felt good. He stretched some more, the sound of rubber coming from his fake skin, but even so, it felt good to simply relax like this.
Inqui pouted as she playfully slapped Oca's chest, as a sort of "oh you", but her face said it was all in jest.

  • This would have... at least some affect it would seem. Initially Meryl would just slap off Ickol into a nearby floating rock and continue her deranged screech, though now with a calmer tone. Unfortunately it would seem that her telepathy remained completely functional and she could scream to her heart's content. Regardless she seemed to retain her animalistic insanity and would not be fully crippled by the mental assault, likely as her body had gone through enough time to regenerate from its previous ordeals in the physical plane and thus had some innate defenses against psychic effects. She would need to be beaten down a bit more were any stronger effects to be applied.

The dragon steeled himself. He was powerful, and he could most likely bring Tanya back from the dead if he wished as such. He wasn't sure if Original knew that he could do as such with Void, or that he even had Void, given he didn't seem to pay much attention to Zyr when he threatened his creations as well as the other gods. But even so, this was...Bad, to say the least. He couldn't risk using a mental Genjutsu via his Doujutsu, or use his Evolution of Mind Sphere to make his charisma higher. He needed to speak clearly and truthfully with Original, as a friend to a friend.

\I understand how you feel, Original. I won't say something or lie saying Tanya is a good person. She definitely did some questionable things in the past, but.../

\What will we achieve if we kill her? If we kick her out? People will suffer without a leader. And the people of Camelot are good people. They don't deserve to be taken over like that./

\We will just put our heads at the table here. You've seen how these outsiders attack. They don't care about us. They don't care about deals. If we just allow ourselves to be pushed around by them, what then? They'll just play us like damn fools./

\I know what that bird, his partner, and those disgusting aliens are. They're manipulative, sociopathic people who have no care for us. No care for our home or other people's. No care if we plead or ask them for mercy or if we do deals./

\And if we simply do as they ask, without even trying to fight for what is ours.../

\What then?/

\What stops them from trying to conquer us? From doing whatever they want after their part of the deal is over?/

\There is very few honor between gods, Original. This doesn't need to end in bloodshed. I know Tanya- I've known Tanya through Inqui for years now. She isn't a kind or an amazing person who isn't misunderstood, but she isn't like those tyrants the Cosmos, or other gods who hold no care for mortal lives. She has humanity deep within her- I can feel that as the god who created the life on this planet./

\And I know she isn't like those who are after her./

The planet god paused and sighed. His dragon form disappeared, before everything went back to normal- the darkness no longer around them. The shard was the humane form of Ocaeril that Original knew. "We're Ocaerilian gods. We can deal with those threats themselves. If we didn't deal with Zyr or his mate or his aliens...Then all the deaths and fear they caused in multiple other worlds and our own would have been for nothing. We would just be cowards. If we can fight...We can fight." He explained truthfully. He didn't just fight Zem for Tanya. He fought because of what he did before he reached Tanya...The kiss on Inqui. Meryl creating monsters. Zem sending aliens to their homes. Surely Original knew of these events.

He then gestured to Tanya. "
Let mortals do their laws and their own justice. If they think Tanya deserves to be kicked out or banished, then so be it. Mortals can do a lot on their own. I'll be willing to watch her and of any possible crimes she might commit...And kill her if I must, and all other mortals fail."

Despite those words, Tanya could feel that Ocaeril wasn't being cold or uncaring. He was simply stating a fact. If she betrayed his trust and did something truly abhorrent to him or others, their friendship would end. He put his trust on her, though, and an edge of compassion was still on his words that only she could feel due to their talk after Zemrasil attacked Camelot directly with the IDNE. He was trusting her even more.

"So please. There's been enough bloodshed today. I don't want to fight you. Let justice and karma happen naturally. We'll just make things worse if we do things by our hands...Believe me, I know that well."

The memory of the first human came to mind...Before Ocaeril stood quiet, waiting for Original's answer. There was no magical spells, no tricks, just Ocaeril having a straight talk with Original as a friend.

Ickol Confrontational

The goddess slowly stood up and brushed the debris off of herself, turning to face Meryl with a blank expression.

You... you actually tried that? You actually attacked me?

Her face hardened. “You thought for a moment you had even a sliver of a chance?! You had the nerve to make a mockery of me? To dare shrug off my power and cause me harm like I’m some two-bit hero and you‘re a strong boss type?! You are nothing. Your world is the only thing that is giving you an edge, you are not stronger than me, you are nowhere near my level, you insect.

The purple energy crackled around Ickol, her normal features distorting with rage as her teeth and claws grew sharper and more pronounced and her avatar seemed to grow several feet larger and wider.

I am not some weak trickster to be swatted with ease once you see through a lie or two. I was going to make you fight him, or perhaps decapitate you in front of his eyes. Maybe capture the daughter for you two only to laugh as I watched the life fade from her eyes and the light from all of yours and the gods as I steal the point of this entire battle. But now you’ve actually pissed me off. Your death doesn’t get to have any meaning or use except to bring me pleasure, you waste.

Ickol marched towards Meryl, stepping on ‘air’ as her feet drove into reality itself not unlike her hammer as she stomped. As Meryl’s tendrils flailed, Ickol sidestepped them. Here, she gracefully dodged and slashed with an imaginary sword, her eyes full of righteous fury as she seemed to shine. Then, that image vanished, as did the damage inflicted, but she was closer. Here, she howled insults as her purple energy turned darker, and seemed to wither all it touched as she sauntered with an arrogant strut and her hair writhing as if organic, until that image and the damage inflicted also faded, but the pain felt was certainly real. Here, a strong warrior all rage and calm, her entire body flowing as one storm as she delivered a punch that could shatter mountains. Then, a smug parent channeling chakra. Ickol didn’t push for any of the attacks to linger, even as some appeared sure to do lasting if not lethal damage, but instead kept undoing them as she drew closer and closer. When her appearance returned to her original one, it was with an enraged expression, her voice growing more and more venomous as centuries of pent up anger steadily leaked out.

Do you see? You will always be the same. A vulgar, unlikable weak creature. A one-and-done villain that shouldn’t have lasted even this long. Me? I’m a lier. I can be anyone, anything I want to be. And I’m getting sick and tired of you freaks always coming in and demanding center stage. I am sick of hiding who and what I am and being delegated to the role of the cowardly side-villain. I refuse to be like the other dark gods and fail my purpose. I will not be shoved aside into redemption or irrelevancy while cretin, puss-filled shitstains like you pretend to be more clever, more wicked, more powerful! I AM THE DESTROYER, GODS DAMN IT!

She hurled her spear into Meryl’s chest and smiled as it paralyzed the frenzied divine monster.

And it’s high time I did my fucking job and got rid of the mistakes in front of me.

Lifting her reality hammer, she swung it into the handle of the spear, smiling as the tip burst out of Meryl’s back and trails of the purple destruction energy snaked across Meryl’s entire form.

"Seriously though. I'm taking a break. At most I'll use actions to help out in some things and ensure nothing explodes, but that's it from me for a while. I really need to chill."

Tiamat did indeed look to see how Ocaeril is having his fun, and so, she walks over. The spirits respectfully follow. With a nod and a gentle 'ah', she pointed to the spirit above her. "Father..." Then to the spirits around her, "our children. Your siblings. Theyyyy are happy... to see you in the living world... my chiiiiildd."

"Wooah, so you're... my mama's new kid? Aw, I like having Kingu, but I also like having other siblings to be around too! I wish I woulda known about you before we died... We could be great friends- no, great siblings! Hee hee..." Lahamu giggled, but her red, starry eyes proved something she lamented. She did want to be alive with siblings, though this is a lot to take. Lahamu accepts Ocaeril overall; she likes having siblings in general.

"Well, he has different circumstances, Lahamu. But he is still family, I can't deny that. Family is important to mother, father and us, and so we should treat them with equal respect, and with delicate love and care." Kingu observed with his green eyes, examining Oca. He may seem family, but if it turns out to be something more, it will surprise Kingu. He's willing to accept Ocaeril, he is mostly curious.

"Family is family. If you are our family, Kingu and Lahamu, then my wife's future children will be our own children as well- in any circumstances possible. They will never be left behind." Abzu concluded, gentle blue at Ocaeril. He floated down to be next to his wife, so to give Ocaeril the chance to hug the spirits if he could. Abzu would love Ocaeril no matter what, as family is still family.

Nergal just sat there, both heads staring at the smoking man with an unreadable expression while he toyed with the cuffs constraining him. He kept this up for a few minutes before one of his heads, finally spoke up.

"And what sort of proposition would that be? Wait, let me guess, you want me to create an army monstrous mutants to conquer this world with? I'd say it's something along the lines of that."

  • Helsa Conversational

"I stand by what I said." Helsa said calmly, still smirking.

...you are much more open to this than I expected. Helsa projected mentally at Inqui.
The Inqui instance near Helsa simply smiled back.

    "Why..so?..it's..all...in..good..jest!..So...I...think...it's..alright!"

With a slight smile at the little back and forth between him, Inqui, and Helsa, Ocaeril allowed himself to relax more and more, and his emotions soon lead him to a calmness of spirit. While rest and sleeping (long, long sleep) are good things...Small interactions like these really do make his stamina and his newly-started 'break' much more enjoyable.

Soon getting up however, despite the fact Inqui's lap was comfortable, he found no more reason to reply back to Helsa or Inqui, and around that same time, Tiamat came with figures he was at the same familiar with, but at the same time just now being able to see them. The spirits of Abzu, Lahamu, and Kingu appeared before him, no longer requiring the god to force his third eye to be able to see them between the spiritual world and the physical one, as they thankfully came to be in the latter.

His smile was soon replaced by his jaw being open, a look of surprise and wonder on his face as he stared at them for a moment, and while not shown, a bit of...Nervousness was there. While Ocaeril knew Tiamat loved him like a child, there was still the fact that...Well...There was still that feeling of awaiting acceptance. His last 'family' and 'father' did indeed abandon him after all. While he knew via Tiamat they weren't like this by stories alone, that sense of expectancy and almost nervousness, even if it was infinitely small and not allowing itself to show on his face, was still there for a single moment.

...But soon, at their words, a smile formed himself on his lips. If he was younger or more emotional, he'd perhaps have cried, but here, he was already a tad emotionally and physically drained. But even so, his eyes glistened a bit, almost threatening to let out tears. They did not, thankfully.

"It's nice to meet all of you," He replied honestly. "You really are like mom told me about each of you."

It felt weird. Almost unnatural to have someone consider him a part of the family so quickly and easily like this. But even so, Tiamat's family quickly took them in as one of their own...Much like she did when he was first born. It felt good. It felt...Comfortable. Happy. Someone to call a 'father,' someone to call a 'sister,' someone to call 'brother.'

It really made him smile. He appreciates this break a little more.

"
Now, why don't we all go home? You may be spirits, but I'm sure you'd all enjoy hanging out in the little hut I built to myself and my family there..."

Holding Inqui's hand and whistling for Eva to come along, Ocaeril led Tiamat and her family with him back to a certain World Tree, where a small and simple hut stood, hidden away from the eyes of its other residents and trainees there, but at the same time, open to all. Despite the fact, time passes faster for gods, the next few years or months or even weeks that went by were truly calming to Ocaeril, even if they seemed like hours. Talking and bonding to his family, getting his 'reward' from Inqui, teaching Eva new things as she slowly became an adult, and...

Ocaeril'adabaoth Rey, 3rd Action

...Ah, yes, a new member on the family, too.

On a certain day, a new constellation appeared on the sky, depicting what almost appeared to be a spiral or a 'drill' in the sky, almost similar, but nowhere equal to a certain 'Milky Way' in another world. Visible almost every night to all, as on the same night that constellation was formed, a certain boy was born from the First Heroine and the planet. Shimone, The Second Child, 'The Spiral Child', or simply known as 'The Digging Miner' was born under a comfortable light with no troubles.

For he was someone who represented what kept the world together, the gravity and the air that surrounded the planet, the weather, the air, even the minerals in the ground. While he wasn't a creator, he was someone who'd represent those concepts as a force of nature, much like his father and older sister.

Only time knows what it has in store for the second child, but the future seemed bright, as Ocaeril allowed himself to enjoy his break even more.

  • Meryl just stared at ickol the entire time, seeming to have no comprehension of anything she was saying or doing, and not registering any pain from the illusions she cast, maintaining a look of disdain at the other goddess. The hammer strike however certainly provoked a reaction, and Meryl was sent sprawling back onto the sarcophagus. The impaling strike didn't kill her, though she certainly wasn't expecting it to actually do anything and was as such clearly wounded, though the fight clearly wasn't taken completely out of her yet, largely due to the fact that, compared to her, the spear was around the size of a toothpick and would likely take a while for the rotting effect to be noticeble. The sudden punch from Meryl's massive fist, however, showed immediate effects on Ickol, Smushing her against a nearby rock wall. By now Meryl was much more sluggish and, having embedded her opponent in the stone, was making a last ditch effort to escape. She lethargically rolled off the edge of the sarcophagus, beginning a free fall where she would likely attempt to steer herself into one of the bubbles. She was a sitting duck.

Meanwhile, Ickol's spear, having gone through Meryl, had fallen into one of the bubbles of the reverse-world, and likely was now located somewhere in Ocaeril Ickol was unaware of this, and had no idea where to look.
