Turning his gaze to Masaru, Dei would fix his own hair before huffing. "Y' hungry?"

Masaru smiled before sighing. "Yes, but not the hungry you're talking about." His eyes hooded for a few seconds as he looked out towards the windows, towards civilization.

Dei-Loki raised a brow at that, smiling faintly as he slid off the bed. "There's several on death row you can have that won't need their souls, if that's what yer hinting at."

Masaru nodded, "I would like that a lot. Especially if there's more than one. Emotions put a lot out of me, apparently."

"I'll have to check the list, but there should be plenty fer you." Dei-Loki stretched.

Masaru nodded, "but umm . . . if you do want to go . . . i need you to . . . not watch me, please." He looked down, messing with his rings.

Dei-Loki gave Masaru a questioning look, his brows furrowing slightly before, eventually, he nodded. "... If it's what you need, then, sure."

Masaru nodded, "thank you. I just, it's like watching someone have their off day. I rather not let you see me not so pretty." He grinned, masking his true emotions of feeling like a monster.

Pulling Masaru into a hug, Dei huffed. "I just hope y' know, I don't mind seeing y' either way. Really doesn't bother me at all."

Masaru froze at the hug before wrapping his arms around Dei and doing the same. "I know, and thank you. Now, let's get going before i taste what your soul is like." He said lowly as his stomach growled loudly.

Dei twitched his ears at the stomach growl, kissing Masaru's cheek. "Naah, you wouldn't like it. I'd probably give you way worse indigestion than Ruvik's eye did. C'mon." He patted Masaru's back before loosening the hug as he led the way out.

Masaru smiled at that, sighing with contempt at the memory. "Good times, good times." He folloed Dei.

"Is... Is it weird t' say I enjoyed watching that?" Dei-Loki grinned, holding the door open for Masaru.

"Naaaaaah! Is it weird to say that i enjoyed having a bite?" He walked out the door.

"Definitely not! I just feel bad for the indigestion you had, afterwards." Dei-Loki followed him out, shutting the door before continuing to walk. "Definitely a better alternative compared to what would've happened if y' weren't immune, though."

"Explosive diarrhea or death?" He asked as he walked to the carriage.

"Explosive diarrhea or death?" He asked as he walked to the carriage.

"Both, in that order. Well... That, plus the feeling of your own blood eating it's way out of every vessel in yer body as it gnaws at yer nerves on it's way to the most vital of organs. I've seen it happen t' hundreds of people, and it seems pretty painful to watch, to say the least." Dei-Loki would look forward at the memory, blinking. "Now take that sensation and imagine if you lived through that, and boom, that's the process of becoming a shadow warden. Fun shit, right there." Dei-Loki, half-jokingly, would state.

Masaru patted his head. "And that why strength lies in pain. No heroes nor warriors have ever went unscathed."

"Very true!" Dei-Loki agreed with a nod, grinning up at Masaru. "Plus, lots of battle scars are pretty fucking sweet."

"And sexy." He whispered into Dei's ear before nipping his earlobe and quickly walking up ahead to open the door for him.

Dei-Loki's grin grew at that, soon hopping into the carriage.

Masru followed him, closing the door as he got in. His stomach growled again. "I know! I know! You don't have ot remind me!"

Dei-Loki sat down, smirking as he couldn't help but snicker. "Built in alarm?"
