Graham pat his back before making a clicking sound. "Speaking of watching, has Lucifel come into vision at all? Or the others?"

Reaver would twitch his ears at the sound of the click, Adrian having shook his head.

"No. There's been no sign of any of them." Adrian spoke. "Relieving yet still... unsettling. We still have guards on watch and patrol up to three miles outside of the palace walls, however. And I intend to keep it that way even after we all feel safe."

"Have you checked his previous hide-outs?"

"Have you checked his previous hide-outs?"

Adrian nodded. "We're thinking he changed his hideout location once again. There weren't even any blighters in the last two we checked."

"And when shall I be sent back to work?"

Reaver lowered his ears a small bit at the question, but listened as Adrian would rest his arms on the armrests of his chair,

"Your work, as it stands, is here. Helps to have someone around to command the troops outside of the palace, especially since, now, we seem to be the enemies target. Ergo, you will need to go back if and when the next attack occurs."

"Understood." He smiled then, pulling Reaver to his chest and rubbing his back. "So i'll be by your side for a while, gorgeous. Nothing to worry about . . . for now." He kissed Reaver's forehead.

"For now." Reaver repeated before smiling and nuzzling his jaw after huffing. "I'll have t' enjoy it while I still can."

"Y' still promised us a hockey game, uncle gwizzly beah." Dei-Loki spoke up, looking over to them with a grin.

Graham smiled as the nuzzling before looking to Dei. A predator-like glint caught his eyes as he smirked. "I would love to, but I don't even have my old hockey uniform anymore."

Reaver paused at this, glancing to Graham as he twitched his ears. "It's bound t' be somewhere. I don't think it was thrown out."

"It probably is far gone. I won't find it. I guess. . . i guess i could wear my warm clothes. Although I won't have protection, So Dei, i know what you aim for, stay away from the family jewels." He moved forward, squinting and pointing at Dei. "I need these, y'hear me? Don't mess up the set like the other last times."

Dei-Loki blinked, smiling innocently. "Not my fault that's everybody's weakness."

"Didn't y' almost get kicked off the team in highschool because of that?" Malvo smirked, Dei-Loki waving her off.

"I don't blame the coach fer that, I blame the kids that couldn't take my "aggressiveness". Then their parents made the coach bench me when I'd get "too into the game"." Dei-Loki huffed.

Adrian rubbed his forehead as he sighed, a small smirk on his face. "I both miss and don't miss those days..."

Graham laughed at that before stopping midway. "Wait a second . . . . those times i brought you back in the locker room, and you were blushing like crazy . . . those were . . . . you were watching me strip! That's not fair! You had a starting chance!" Graham pouted, looking to Reaver.

Reaver raised his brows, his ears having flattened as he rubbed the back of his head. "N-Not my fault!"

"Good, at least I did that. Alright, let's go find some warm clothes for me to wear." Graham stood up, caring Reaver still as he did so.

Reaver snickered before blinking and lifting his brows as he'd been lifted. Though, clearly, he didn't seem to mind, as he'd lean into him before pointing forward in no true direction. "AWAY!"

Dei-Loki watched them, chuckling before he tossed his fists in the air. "WOO! HOCKEY!"

Graham laughed before carrying Reaver off to his room. As he looked through his closet of something to wear that was at least semi-protective, he looked to Reaver. "Hey, is umm, does the team still play there sometimes? What about the Coach? Is Coach Lynn still there?"

Reaver lifted a brow at that, soon nodding. "Well, the team is different for sure, but I believe Coach Lynn is still there, I think?.. don't quote me on that, though. The last time I saw him was Dei-Loki's last game."

"Shall we go there then? To the ice rink there? Maybe . . . who knows, maybe you'll finally join me on the ice. Come on, it's not so scary! I protected you from falling before."

"... Ahehh... No thanks. Y' know how bad I am at skating, in general. I don't need people snickering at me on the sidelines... like at tryouts." Reaver huffed, his ear having lowered at the memory.

Graham pouted. "No one is going to do that. I'll protect you. I always do. Do you not trust me?"

Staring at Graham for a moment, Reaver would whine. 'AAAAGH, DON'T MAKE ME FEEL BAD.' "I do trust you! So much that I... I'll try it out..."

Graham hugged Reaver to him, happy as ever. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You won't regret it! Even if you do get boo-boos . . . i'll make sure to kiss them to make you feel better, okay?" Graham wiggled his eyebrows.

Reaver couldn't help but manage a grin from the hug, closing his eyes as he snickered before he glanced to Graham yet again. "You'd better."
