The goddess Artemis has finally managed to convince Zeus to make a new world. A world where animals are the sole influence on their world. No humans
And it worked..........
About 50 years after the start of this world, with high influence from Artemis, she gave kingdoms dominion over a terrain of the earth. The kings of the domains establish smaller territories
Woodlands
Mountain
Plains (Prairie/Savannah)
Seas
Open Air
Tundra
Marsh
(More to add if needed)
However, we'll zoom in a bit and look into the Woodlands
The Woodland Knights are a peaceful group who keep the woodlands in order. Like any other animal, they hunt. Like any other civilization, they protect their young, elders, and citizens, keep them fed. They grow their food.
The Woodland Knights are led by a powerful and loyal squirrel chosen by Artemis herself. His name is Ethan Coleman. A valiant and fearless fighter, he was entrusted as the leader of the Woodland Knights. He's entrusted with the powerful Variable Sword (Var Sword), a legendary sword that can turn into any other sword, from simple to legendary to mythological. Ethan is known as one of the fastest warriors in that world
He calls the shots in the Woodlands. He treats everyone with respect and honor. No-one who's challenged him has survived his army-in-one arsenal. Even dragons have fallen.
Let's shift the view and move over to the mountains
In the mountains, a different ruler calls the shots. Dai Quan
A powerful Panderan Warrior-King who wields a strong wooden staff known to cause earthquakes and can grow trees. He's the Staff of the Almighty, one of the strongest forces in the world in terms of raw strength. He looks after his own people, protective like a father, and is ruthless to anyone who challenges him or threatens his land. He's tamed dragons and even put them on call
As time passed, each domain has remained relatively isolated, which has its pros, but a major con is that as isolation goes on, each side has gained a degree of Xenophobia, a fear or hatred of outsiders
It's the Woodlands vs the Mountains. Who will win when the 2 domains wage war to span the lands?
