Fantasy The Woodland Knights

The goddess Artemis has finally managed to convince Zeus to make a new world. A world where animals are the sole influence on their world. No humans

And it worked..........

About 50 years after the start of this world, with high influence from Artemis, she gave kingdoms dominion over a terrain of the earth. The kings of the domains establish smaller territories

Woodlands

Mountain

Plains (Prairie/Savannah)

Seas

Open Air

Tundra

Marsh

(More to add if needed)

However, we'll zoom in a bit and look into the Woodlands

The Woodland Knights are a peaceful group who keep the woodlands in order. Like any other animal, they hunt. Like any other civilization, they protect their young, elders, and citizens, keep them fed. They grow their food.

The Woodland Knights are led by a powerful and loyal squirrel chosen by Artemis herself. His name is Ethan Coleman. A valiant and fearless fighter, he was entrusted as the leader of the Woodland Knights. He's entrusted with the powerful Variable Sword (Var Sword), a legendary sword that can turn into any other sword, from simple to legendary to mythological. Ethan is known as one of the fastest warriors in that world

He calls the shots in the Woodlands. He treats everyone with respect and honor. No-one who's challenged him has survived his army-in-one arsenal. Even dragons have fallen.

Let's shift the view and move over to the mountains

In the mountains, a different ruler calls the shots. Dai Quan

A powerful Panderan Warrior-King who wields a strong wooden staff known to cause earthquakes and can grow trees. He's the Staff of the Almighty, one of the strongest forces in the world in terms of raw strength. He looks after his own people, protective like a father, and is ruthless to anyone who challenges him or threatens his land. He's tamed dragons and even put them on call

As time passed, each domain has remained relatively isolated, which has its pros, but a major con is that as isolation goes on, each side has gained a degree of Xenophobia, a fear or hatred of outsiders

It's the Woodlands vs the Mountains. Who will win when the 2 domains wage war to span the lands?

I'm a bit interested, but you seem a bit biased. Also, why are they fighting? They seem to only be concerned with their own territory.

I'm still writing the lore

This interest check wasn't finished when I posted. I just wanted to get it on the site. Plus, someone else is supposed to play as the Panda King, so I don't play multiple power roles

Very interested! I would like to see this turned into a big roleplay.

Give me a bit of time to get the lore down and the thread up

I do have some questions:

  1. Should magic be a major part (Should I allow mage magic), or should it stay restricted for the most part to natural animal strength/abilities and weapons?
  2. I'm not allowing any made-up species, but should I allow mythological animals/creatures?
  3. Does anyone want to play the Panda King?
  4. Should I include the other domains a lot more than I seem to, or should I turn this into a series of sorts and keep shifting the focus
  5. Does anyone want to help develop this lore? You know, add species and their natural abilities, add locations?
  6. Do you have any questions, suggestions, concerns, or whatever?

Appearance:

Species:

Domain: Domain they came from. Try to make it realistic. Don't have polar bears from the Marsh

Description:

Natural Abilities:

I'm leaving Personality and Bio off to keep people from making special snowflakes with insanely tragic backstory and focus on character development and not having them stick to one set personality

My opinion:

- no magic

- i dont wanna be a panda

-no mythical creatures as well, lets just keep it animals

-i can help, but tell me what to do EXACTLY in pm.

1. Some animals should have magic (spiritual animals or animals considered wise.)

2. Some. Can't have too strong of a creature. If everyone is a dragon it'd get bland and boring. Maybe only allow mythical creatures for leaders of territories? You know, mythical weapons for mythical creatures.

3. It's a no from me.

4. Might be nice to have the other domains included, maybe like who's allied with who and such.

5. I could try, but I'm rather terrible at it.

6. Nope.<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_07/Edward_Julius_Detmold49.jpg.061efc043bad9030b8f2683b5c557ea2.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="139306" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_07/Edward_Julius_Detmold49.jpg.061efc043bad9030b8f2683b5c557ea2.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

I vote yes magic, but only augmenting magic. This would be small magic that enhances natural abilities. I vote yes mythological creatures, but not to play as (such as the Panda King having his dragons). Other than that I don't really have any other opinions. I am also available to help with lore. Also, I would rather not be the Panda King.

Ok, so we're keeping it regular animals. I'll leave mythical animals as either leaders or bosses

Very little magic, but some minor magic weapons and maybe relics as gear for our creatures. Magic will be for the powerful creatures.

For now I'll stick with lore and if I need something else, I'll ask one of you

Anyways, about to get the thread up

The timing (July 4th week) threw everything off, so it's incredibly slow to start
