Okay, I've submitted the request for the new tab and we should be able to get running any day now.


 
Aaaaaaaand we are golden! I'll get ready and get my character's post up soon enough, but beside that go ahead and post, boys!
 
With my last IC post I wanted to imply that Cole and Leon were already talking for a bit before my character arrived. However, @vlgwlf if you want, we can do the same thing as Seraph, explain that Cole sent our characters to our room and let them start talking with each other.
 
Done. Sorry if I wrote a bit much at once but once I started I just couldn't stop. (^.^)


Also, I think it gives Martin a fitting tendency of not giving others a chance to speak. Still, if you want to reply somewhere in between two paragraphs, I can edit my post and post the rest later.

@Darth Corvus Do you want me to repost my original post in the IC RPing 2 thread? It has my character introducing himself to Jeremiah so I wanted to know if I should repost it or just wait for you to reply.
 
Eh... Hang in there, Seraph. I'm sorry I haven't posted much. I've been really busy what with my gig coming up this Friday and my Chem final soon in school. I'll post first (hopefully tomorrow if I can), so hold tight. It's gonna be a bit of a bumpy ride around here for a bit. Sorry guys.
 
That is fine, I was just curious. Real life tends to be a bit more important than roleplaying so I understand if things get busy.
 
@Encreedem I set up the boy's housing RP tab for random out of order small interactions. Go ahead and keep posting. I'll find some time to post in the next few days.


I'm so sorry that I've been so busy and haven't been able to post. This gig has been stealing my life away, but I should be able to get back to work after this weekend.

So I asked ThunderDire if they were still around due to the silence I heard from them, and I haven't gotten a response yet. I think we can assume they are done playing with us. Which of course means that there are no female characters anymore. We are back down to only one team. Oh well. That's fine.

Anyway, I agree with Seraph: Real life goes first. It's too bad that Ian left and two others don't reply but at least it looks like the four of us don't want this RP to die. Maybe you could resurrect the old interest check and see if anybody is interested in joining after our characters finished their first year.
 
I thought it'd be only right for Christopher to show off his powers to his roommate.


At first, I didn't know what that face was and I was wondering why it was there :P I thought it was a strange RPN thing.

It's annoying, really, because I can't capitalize the word kappa without it doing that. I want to talk about the mythological creature, not the emote!


Restarting the interest check is actually a pretty good idea, but maybe not once we've finished the year. I want to make sure the players really know how the school system works before we get playing. Of all the organizations that you will be allowed to have a character for, this one is the most complicated.
 
I'm not sure if I understand what you mean. As far as I understood, you currently only accept characters that are going to Ipsus Academy. Are you planning on introducing other organizations later on, so that everything will be learned step by step? Or are the organizations there as possible workplaces once someone graduates? Or is there something else I'm missing? (You don't need to answer if you want to keep parts of it secret for now.)

As we continue in the game, I will introduce multiple other organizations that you will then be permitted to create a character for and join. Note: these organizations are not necessarily for your main characters in the academy, but if we decide that it would be an interesting plot twist, you could (maybe) change affiliations. The organizations are there for new characters. We'll deal with them when we get there, though.
 
Sounds alright to me.


On a completely unrelated note, I have something that is bugging me. We just had dinner and bought three boxes of pizzas for five people. Each pizza is cut into 1/8th of a pizza. That is twenty four slices of pizza. Two people had five pieces, two people had four, and one person only had three.


My problem is the fact that there are four pieces of pizza left over, allowing two people to have one extra and one person to have two extra. Where did the twenty fifth piece come from?
 
Alright, I've posted. I have a LOT more time now, I'll be editing my posts after I get them out there to contain more vivid (and mostly non-important) details, like describing the water or a fish leaping out of it in the distance.

I went and talked to Ghan and Dark, and I got us a poll taken out. We no longer have to look at the blasted thing every time we refresh the page!
 
It's fine. My uncle married today, therefore I wouldn't have been able to reply in the last few days anyway.

Sorry for the delay. I'm working on two posts simultaneously, one here and one in an RvB Project Freelancer RP, and it turns out that my post for the RvB role play is taking a lot more research and detail than expected. I'll be working on and posting for Jeremiah soon. Very soon, in fact. I'm almost finished with my RvB post, so expect by end of today.

The tallest building would be the school itself. Any other buildings on campus are far away from the school and housings and are usually small and look abandoned. However, students will be strictly prohibited from entering the structures.

I pretty much just wanted to create a situation where vlgwlf's and my character get a chance to become acquainted with each other while giving you and Seraph the same chance.


I'll just ask more questions regarding my character's surroundings along the way.
 
For the most part I'll leave deciding the scenery around them to the players, so have fun imagining. If you try to keep mostly to the image I used for the buildings then you will be fine. Just remember the general areas of the place.
 
That's what I assumed. What I meant is that I'd probably ask before creating/describing any locations, buildings, etc. that might be important for the main story.
