loki looks annoyed, but also amused. "No, i am not a golem. but i do have a soft spot for those little buggers. especially shield guardians. my wizard had one of those and we were good friends."
 
"Oh! Sorry," says Cerralei. "But did you know the pagan god Vulcan was said to make living creatures entirely out of metal? Would it be kinda like that?"
 
"oh i read about those! aren't they called..." he struggles with the word. "auto... automen? automatons? yes that's it! automatons! I do not think i am one. I once asked the wizard where i was from and he said i was once someone else, but now i am unique. i don't really know what i am. being me is enough."
 
"Yeah!" says Cerralei. "Being unique is awesome!"

Cerralei frowns. "Why so glum, chum?"
 
"I helped him decode that book. He has control over the entire world because of me"
 
"Well, if anyone should blame themselves, it would be me," says Hakrum. "Since I've been the one taking on leadership and everything. That being said, I genuinely don't see a way anyone of us could have known."
 
loki puts a hand on his shoulder. "You didn't know. Hell, even i didn't know. i was just suspicious cause he was part animal." loki realizes something. <holy hell i was racist.>
 
"yeah, you guys are right" he gets up. "ready to go to the tower?"
 
Cerralei starts chanting. "I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready!"
 
"actually, what if he expects us to come back? he might have that place crawling with animals"
 
"Yeah, true," says Hakrum. "Maybe we should go in better prepared? But on the other hand, waiting also gives them more time to get more powerful."
 
"I'm not sure that'd work. he has a mental link with them."
 
"are we even sure that there is anything else to find there?"
 
"We don't actually know, by the way, that Balia is at the top of all this," says Hakrum. "It seems kind of inconsistent with the way he's been trying to achieve his goals."
 
"I'll go alone first and scout it out."
 
"Loki, I'm fine."
