The Way Back Home

Alex Thompson

"Sure," Alex said cheerily. It's a karaoke bar right? Maybe I can dazzle you with my skills," He said jokingly, eating his soup slowly. He was a slow eater, him and Harley both. Harley because she was always on her phone, and Alex because he was just a weirdo. It'd be nice to see Otto and Lexi again. He had been so caught up in what had happened with Jaison that he had momentarily forgotten about them. It would nice for them to all to hang out again. Plus, the prospect of having a band put together was exciting to Alex. He was itching to play some of the new songs he had written lately.

Jaison Daniels

"Yeah, the machine had a bit of trouble.. but its back up and running now" he answered, eating her stew soaked bread. Jaison glanced about the table, smiling at everyone's different habits and all their varied mannerisms. His eyes caught sight of Cynthia giving Harley a little nudge to get her off of her phone, Jaison smiled to himself. He couldn't be happier about everyone being back together.

( Want to skip to the end of the meal or keep going? Up to you :] )

Jaison Daniels

The meal couldn't have gone better, the evening couldn't have either. Something in the air had changed dramatically, there was a calmness, an understanding. Jaison walked down the stairs pulling on his coat and scarf, he smiled at everyone packed into the hall. "Let's make a move" he said, with a gentle smile. Cynthia pulled him into an embrace and kissed his cheek, "don't be out too late, sweet boy" she said.

"I won't, I promise" he replied moving to the doorway, he opened the door waiting for Alex and Harley to say their own goodbyes.

Cynthia Daniels

She moved to Harley, pulling her into her a hug and placing a kiss on her cheek. "I'll see you soon, lovely" she said watching the blonde girl headed towards Amanda. Cynthia made way to Alex, cupping his cheeks, "goodnight sweet boy" she said kissing his cheek.

"Don't be a stranger" she said with a cheeky smile. Cynthia moved to the living room doorway and lingered, keeping warm.

Harley Thompson

"Catch you later, Mandy" she said, hugging Amanda tightly. "It was nice hanging out again" she said, "we should really do it more often" Harley admitted with a slight shrug. Moving passed Amanda she headed passed Jaison and out into the chilled air. She waited on the pathway for Alex and Jaison to join her.

Alex Thompson

Alex smiled at Cynthia's comment. "I don't plan on it," he said, genuinely meaning it. He didn't plan on being a stranger at all. This place had practically been a second home to him. He had lost it once, and he would see to it that it never happened. "See ya Mandy," He said, waving goodbye to Amanda and joining Harley and Jaison, standing next to Jaison. He was standing closer than he probably should be, but he didn't care. Harley had already embarrassed him during dinner, there was nothing to lose now. He stuck his hands in his jacket pockets, shivering in the night air. He hated the cold. Summer was his favorite time of the year. Everything else was too cold for him. He couldn't wait to be inside and have a drink. Maybe even sing something for the gang, if they wanted to hear it.

Amanda Daniels

"See you guys," Amanda said, waving goodbye. She made a mental note to text Harley later and make plans. Her team had a big coming up, so she would be practicing more than normal for the next few weeks. But Amanda was sure she could find time for the two of them to hang out. She always managed to find time for her and Cole to meet up, she was certain she could do the same for her and Harley. She closed the door after everyone as they left, glad to shut out the cold air. She yawned a big cat yawn and rubbed her neck lazily. "Well, that was an eventful day. I think I'm gonna head to bed now, I'm pretty tired out. Night Gram," She said, giving her grandmother a quick hug before heading upstairs to her room and quietly shutting the door behind her.

Cynthia Daniels

"Goodbye" she called after them, her eyes bright with happiness over how the evening had gone. Cynthia kissed Amanda on the cheek and smiled, "goodnight sweet girl" she said watching her head up to bed. Eventful indeed, and finally with a sprinkle of happiness, she thought.

Jaison Daniels

Walking alongside Alex, he kept an eye on Harley walking ahead of them, texting once again. Jaison glanced at Alex and smiled, grabbing his hand out of his coat pocket, a small gesture and one that Jaison had been waiting to do since they sat down for the meal. The pub was mere minutes away and arriving outside the door, Jaison waved Harley off.

"Catch you lads later, if you shag in our house keep the noise down" she teased with a wave before continuing on home. Jaison looked to Alex with shy laughter, "she's loving it isn't she?" he smiles glancing at the ground. He lingered on the pavement near the pub and pulled out his phone, quickly texting Felicity and Lexi to meet them inside at the pub. His eyes wandered to Alex, he knew this must all be hard on him, "wanna head inside?".

Alex Thompson

Alex rolled his eyes. "We'll try," Alex called after her, laughing at her stupid remark. She was always trying to embarrass him and she usually succeeded. He used his snappy remarks to cover up his embarrassment. He hoped his face wasn't blushing and if it was, he hoped Jaison didn't notice.

"Totally!" Alex said, glad for the change of subject. "I've missed this old place. You should see the bars they have in New York," he said, scrunching his nose up in disgust. "They were seriously nasty." He walked into the bar and held the door open for Jaison.

Lexi Darbis

Lexi stepped out of the shower, rubbing her hair dry with a towel. She heard her phone go off and she walked over to her bedside table to check it. She grinned at Jaison's text and quickly responded, 'I'll be there in a sec." It had been awhile since she had gone out with friends, so she quickly started to get ready.

Jaison Daniels

Chuckling alongside Alex, he moved inside the bar and passed him. Jaison gazed around, the place looked almost exactly as he remembered.. he thought it best not to mention he hadn't been in here since Alex left. Everything was so good now, he didn't want to ruin it by bringing up bad memories. Leading Alex to the bar, Jaison was spotted by Otto before he had a chance to say hello or gesture to Alex.

"Jaison, man! Haven't seen you in here for ages!" Otto hollered moving over to serve him, the dark haired man's eyes moved to Alex just behind Jaison. "No way, dude!" Otto grinned from ear to ear, climbing over the bar he pulled Alex into a hug. "Alex, dude, I have missed you!" he exclaimed, hugging the shorter man tighter. Jaison smiled, happy to see two friends reunited, no malice, no need for explanation.. it made him feel bad for questioning Alex so much. For being so angry at him for so long.. for still having a spec of that anger inside him. His phone bleeped and he read both messages from Felicity and Lexi, he hoped both girls would welcome Alex back as Otto had, friendly and as though he had never left.

Felicity Fox

The text from Jaison beeped on her phone and Felicity replied instantly, glad to get away from her studying. And shocked to receive an invite from Jaison to the pub, he rarely went there anymore.. she couldn't remember the last time he did in fact. Changing into a flowery dress and denim jacket, she rushed out the door and made her way to the pub.

Alex Thompson

Alex laughed as Otto enveloped him in a hug, returning it gladly. "Hey, I've missed you man! It's been a long time," he said, taking a step back and looking Otto over. He hadn't changed a bit, personality or looks wise. "You haven't changed a bit. Though, I've heard you play piano now?" Alex asked hesitantly. He wasn't sure how to go about asking Otto to be in his band, but he figured he'd just start by asking Otto questions about what he played. He took a seat on a bar stool while they waited for the others to arrive.

Lexi Darbis

Lexi finished getting ready. Her outfit was simple, a gray tank top, leather jacket, and a pair of jeans. She grabbed her keys and her helmet and left her house, locking the door behind her. She hopped on her motorcycle and drove to the pub. Once there, she entered quickly and squealed loudly when she saw Alex. "Alex!" She yelled happily. She ran towards him and practically tackled him onto the floor in a big bear hug. "Oh, I can't believe you're finally back, this is great!"

Otto Jones

He grinned from ear to ear, having released Alex from the hug. "Yeah, dude, unlike you. Mad hair, tats, piercings. I like it" he smiled climbing over the bar and glancing between Lexi, Jaison and Alex. "I do, man. Been getting lessons for months now" as Alex and Lexi greeted each other, his eyes moved to Jaison. "What'll it be?" he asked.

Jaison Daniels

Just as he wanted, Alex was being welcomed with open arms. "Oh" he paused, looking to Otto, "cranberry cider for me" his eyes moved to Alex. "You still a cider drinker? And what about you Lexi?" Jaison asked looking between the pair. He spotted Felicity coming in the door and waved her over, something in her eyes changed when they noticed Alex. Jaison tried to ignore it.

Felicity Fox

All day at work and when she got home, Felicity had wondered what was up with Jaison. He had seemed off, something was different. Now, he answer stood before her with pastel coloured hair. Alex. Felicity walked over to Jaison and Lexi, her eyes focused on Alex. "I wasn't expecting to see you here" she said moving past Alex and to the bar to stand beside Jaison, "I'll have a cranberry and gin, next rounds mine" she stated. Felicity lent against the bar, her eyes moved to Alex then back to Jaison. All seemed well, something she had not expected if Alex ever returned.. she must have been too busy with coursework and have missed the news. Felicity didn't hate Alex.. she didn't dislike him, she knew he was a good guy. She disliked what he did. Although it seemed her friends around her had forgiven everything, Felicity didn't plan on forgetting it or letting him off easy. Of course she wouldn't be mean about it, she'd explain her feelings and her opinions in a civilized manner. Alex needed to know that she would be keeping an eye on him, that if he wanted to be back in Jaison's life he would have to work for it. And that if he ever broke Jaison's heart again.. she'd make sure it would his biggest regret.

Alex Thompson

Alex laughed and tried to wriggle his way out of Lexi's death grip of a hug. "Cmon Lex, I can't breath!" He said. She finally let him go and he smiled, taking a seat on the bar stool again. "That's great! I was asking because I wanted to start up a band here in Allyn. I want to keep practicing music, and you can't jam out without a few band mates," he said with a grin. "And I'll just have a Coke," thanks Alex said. He had wanted a drink, but he decided he'd rather not get drunk on his first night back.

"Lexi, you could join us too. You still play drums?" He asked, turning to face her. He looked up in surprise as Felicity walked in.

He gave her a quick nod hello and said, "Yeah, today is my first day back home."

Lexi Darbis

"Hell yes I still play!" She said excitedly. "And the usual for me," She said to Otto, her usual order being Coke on the rocks. "Hey Fel," she said, greeting Felicity cheerily. She was over the moon happy. The old gang was back together and she would be joining a band with Alex. She had always loved the punk rock music he wrote, and she would love to play some of it with him.

Putting in their orders to Otto, he took out his card. "No, no way mate" Otto said pushing it away, "these are on me" he said and before Jaison could argue he wondered down the bar to make them up. Jaison glanced at his friends interacting, happy to have them all back together. Sitting on the bar stool, his mind went over the days events.. his morning fear, the build up.. and now. Nothing had worked out the way he had expected and he was so glad about that. Otto dropped his drink to him and Jaison took a swig, his eyes moved to Felicity.. she was usually quiet, but something was off.

Otto Jones

"Dude, sounds good to me" he answered Alex. Otto poured Alex's coke and placed it on the bar in front of him, before giving Lexi and Felicity their drinks. "When did you want to start practice? I'll have to work around here and helping my dad on the boat" he shrugged and grabbed himself a beer. "Wanna practice with a bit of karaoke?" he chuckled, gesturing to the machine in the corner.

Felicity Fox

"Hi Lexi" she uttered with a soft smile, picking up her things she moved to sit beside Jaison on the opposite side of Alex, a bar stool down. "A warning would have been appreciated" she whispered, "I didn't expect to see
him when I walked in" Felicity mumbled sipping her drink. Jaison shrugged, "I didn't know until this morning" he said. Her eyes moved between Otto, Lexi and Alex chatting about the prospect of making a band.

"How'd it all go? I'm assuming well seen as you're both in here" she said glancing to her side at Jaison.

He nodded, "really well" he smiled, but Felicity still wasn't convinced to forgive Alex. Jaison had always had a big and kind heart, part of her had always known he would forgive Alex if he came back. Felicity tucked a piece of hair behind her ear, hearing Otto's suggestion. "Please, Otto.. don't go butchering another song I love" she teased, "if anyone is going to sing let Alex.. or Jaison, he's pretty good. Better since I got him those lessons" she beamed, her eyes moving to Alex. "Did he tell you about them, Alex? We've all been up to so much, especially Jaison.. building up a business and all" her eyes moved back to Jaison, "I'm so proud of him.. I'm sure we all are".

Alex Thompson

"Really? You've been singing?" Alex asked with interest. He smiled warmly at Jaison. "I'd love to hear you sometime. I'm sure you're great." He said. Whatever malice Felicity harbered towards him, Alex didn't notice. He was so blissfully happy because of the day's events, he didn't think there was anything that could bring him back down. He pulled out his phone to start writing down the details of the band's first practice, going back to his conversation with Lexi and Otto. He entered the details into his calendar and then sent the details out in a text to the both. He was practically jumping up and down like a puppy.

(Sorry my posts are kind of short, I'm in school so I'm trying to reply quickly XP)

Jaison Daniels

"Yeah.." he said, shyly sipping his drink. "I'm not any good.. I just.." he fumbled to find words and felt relieved when Alex returned to his conversation with Otto and Lexi. Jaison couldn't help but feel a slight spark of jealousy however, they'd spent the evening together and something inside him wanted to spend more time with Alex already.. even if it was just standing beside him whilst he talked with Lexi and Otto. Despite the feeling, he remained sat down eyes moving to Felicity.

Felicity Fox

"Want to play some pool?" she suggested standing up from the bar stool, Jaison nodded lightly and followed Felicity to the snooker table. Placing her drink on the side she put in the pound coin required to play before setting out the balls, "you shouldn't forgive him so easily, Jaison" she started. Felicity glanced up at Jaison, he didn't seem to look shocked. "I know you don't want to hear it.. but you know me, I can't keep it to myself" she said, shrugging. Jaison handed her a cue and she watched him move to break.

"I'm giving him a chance, we were both young.. I get why he went" Jaison answered much to Felicity's dismay.

"You were young, but not stupid. He made a choice that hurt you, you needed him" she said as Jaison broke, potting a red. Her eyes glanced back at Alex and the others, before she chugged her drink, Jaison doing the same before going back to trying to pot the next ball.

Otto Jones

His phone bleeped and he pulled it out his pocket, "dude you know we are stood right here" he laughed. "I can do Sunday.. maybe not the morning, be fair to me, man.. I run a pub" he smirked sipping his beer. Otto glanced over at Jaison and Felicity, then back to Alex, "what's going on then mate? Jaison hasn't been in here since you left.. you guys cool now?" he pondered.

Alex Thompson

"He hasn't?" Alex asked in surprise. He looked over where Jaison was playing pool with Felicity. He wondered what they were talking about. And he also wondered what else Jaison hadn't told him. His shook of his confused and frankly sad feelings and looked back at Otto. "We've worked things out. Hopefully," he added, more to himself than to anyone else. He looked back over at Jaison and he couldn't help but laugh as he chugged his drink. It had occurred to him that this was the first time they had gone out drinking together. He wondered what kind of drunk Jaison would turn out to be. With an evil smile, Alex watched Jaison curiously.

Lexi Darbis

Lexi waved her hand dismissively. "Of course they patched things up. Look at that face," Lexi said, pinching Alex's cheeks tightly. "Who could stay mad at that face?" She laughed as Alex slapped her hands away, a scowl on his face. "And my schedule pretty much lines up with Otto's since I've got to work shifts at the cafe, plus I've got a few orders to get done for my mom's business," she said. She wondered if she'd be able to handle so many things but she figured she could. She always seemed to have free time on her hands anyways.

Otto Jones

He could tell Alex was worried, Otto placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry dude, you've just got back.. you two have a lot to catch up on" he said glancing at Felicity and Jaison. His eyes moved down the bar as more customers entered, "I'll come you both later.. got customers and its only me tonight" he shrugged wandering down the bar.

Jaison Daniels

"Can we just drop it, please, Felicity?" he said, trying to not let his anger boil over. He knew she meant well and he got that, but after such a good day... Felicity was almost ruining it. Stepping aside he let Felicity take her shot, whilst he drank the last of his drink. "Next round?" he asked, already feeling the effects of the first drink, Jaison had always been a light weight. Felicity missed the ball and sighed, "I think I need it" she answered moving to the bar.

Jaison watched her go, hoping she wouldn't cause any trouble. He bent over to take his next shot.

Felicity Fox

Before Otto could serve her she glanced to Lexi and Alex, "want anything?" she asked as Otto moved over. Felicity glanced at him, "a double gin and cranberry, and a vodka and coke.. and whatever they are having" she gestured to Lexi, then Alex.

Alex Thompson

Alex nodded and smiled gratefully at Otto. "Thanks man," he said. His friend's words had lifted his mood significantly, reminding him that Alex and Jaison's relationship couldn't be rebuilt in a single night. It would take a bit to get back to what they used to be. But they had taken a step towards doing it that night and that mattered immensely to Alex. He stood up and walked over to the pool table. "Can I join?" he asked Jaison, then glanced towards Felicity, wanting her permission to join as well. She hadn't been speaking to him much that night, and Alex was starting to wonder why. Although, he could take a guess. "And no thanks, I'm good for now," he said, turning down her offer cautiously, not wanting her to get any angrier with him.

Lexi Darbis

"I'll have what she's having," Lexi said, jabbing her finger in Felicity's direction. Like Alex, she had only just begun to notice the slight tension in he air. One of the things she and Alex had in common: they were oblivious to people's feelings. They were such naturally upbeat people, it was hard for them to notice when someone was feeling angry or sad unless it was right in front of them. Passive aggressiveness and the silent treatment doesn't really work on them. Unless someone states that something is wrong, they probably won't figure it out for themselves. As Lexi downed her drink, she hoped the tension would go down. It was such a nice night, she didn't want it to be ruined.

Jaison Daniels

"Sure" he smiled genuinely, "Felicity won't mind.. she hates me beating her, which was already happening" he chuckled taking his shot. He didn't pot anything, stepping back he let Alex take his turn. Felicity dropped over his drink and returned to the bar, a word to neither of them. Jaison watched her disappointingly, but he wouldn't let her ruin the night.. even if that meant ignoring her. "I've got the day off work tomorrow... if you wanted to do something" he suggested, not sure what they could do.. his mind raced with a hundred thoughts. None of which seemed fun or interesting.

Felicity Fox

Taking her drink, she paid Otto and sat down beside Lexi. Felicity handed the blue haired girl her drink and glanced back at Alex and Jaison, "what're your thoughts?" she asked. Glancing to Lexi, she elaborated, "do you think it'll last?" she said, bluntly. Felicity sipped her drink, resting an elbow on the bar. "I don't want to be the dick.. but I'm worried for Jaison, he's... tender" she said unsure if that was the correct word to describe her friend.

Alex Thompson

Alex chuckled at Jaison's comment, glancing at Felicity, who had taken a seat next to Lexi. He returned his attention to Jaison. "Thanks," he said with a grin. He grabbed a pool cue and lined up his shot. "I should warn you though, I got pretty good at hustling pool while living in New York," he said, sinking his shot with a triumphant fist pump. At Jaison's suggestion, Alex immediately got a million times happier, which he thought would be impossible. "Sure! Whatever you want to do, I'm down. We could go swimming down at the docks like we used to," Alex suggested, also thinking of what they could do. Although, as long as Jaison was there Alex didn't think he would care.

Lexi Darbis

"Thanks," Lexi said, graciously accepting with a grin. She sighed at Felicity's prying, her grin turning into a frown. "Is that why you've been so grumpy tonight?" She asked. She took a minute to ponder her question, though it didn't take long for Lexi to reach an answer. She looked over at Jaison and Alex playing pool together and said confidently, "I think it will. You may know chief well, but I know Alex. He wouldn't do anything to hurt chief. He's learned his lesson," she said, turning her head to stare at Felicity. She had full confidence in Alex and she wouldn't let Felicity put an doubt in her mind. She trusted Alex and she was sure he wouldn't do anything to hurt Jaison again.

Jaison Daniels

"I guess we'll see" he answered with a sly smirk waiting for Alex to take his next shot. Jaison glanced at Alex as he spoke, his face lighting up with a smile when he agreed. "That'd sound great.. if it wasn't so cold out" he teased. "How about.." he paused thinking a little longer, "we go out on Grans boat?" he suggested. "I can cook us something up in the morning.. we can have lunch at sea" the day had gone so well, Jaison couldn't wait to see what tomorrow would bring. Throwing back some of his drinks, he hoped Felicity hadn't got him a double.

Felicity Fox

"I haven't been grumpy" she countered, "I've been cautious and worried for my friend" Felicity answered sipping her drink. She shrugged at Lexi's response, "I know
Jaison better, much better. He's sensitive and he's always been devoted to Alex, he'd forgive him for anything. That's what worries me" Felicity tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "I don't mean to be bitchy, but Jaison has been through so much.. he's still not recovered from it all, what happened to his Granddad, Alex leaving... Lane. It's all piled up, I don't want him to crack".

Alex Thompson

Alex took two more shots before missing. He stepped aside to let Jaison take his turn and he frowned. "Oh yeah, I forgot it's winter time now," He said with a groan. "I hate winter," he said with a pout. He immediately perked up when he heard the prospect of food. "That sounds great! Your cooking was always the best. I've always thought it was slightly better than Gran's cooking. Don't tell her I said that though," he said, laughing slightly. "Her cooking is still great. Anything is great compared to what I cook in the kitchen, if you can even call it cooking," he said, recalling the time Jaison had let him help him cook a dish and Alex had burnt it beyond recognition. That was the last time he had helped Jaison out, not that he was complaining.

He thought silently to himself for a few seconds before hesitantly saying, "Maybe I could bring my guitar? Play a song for you?" He had a few things in mind that he wanted to play for Jaison, but he was afraid he would think it was too cheesy or weird.

Lexi Darbis

"And I know Alex much better," Lexi said, starting to get irritated. "And he feels bad about what he did. But it had always been his dream to get out of this small town, to see things outside of it and to land a career in music. You can't blame him for wanting to follow his dream," she says, leaning back in her chair and crossing her arms. "Besides, Chief's forgiven him, so that's all that matters. The last thing he needs right now is you filling his head with doubt and reminding him of all the bad things that have happened. Can't you just be happy for the guy?" she asked, taking another swig of her drink. She didn't know Jaison that well, but he seemed happy. And she was happy when other people were happy. He was glad that Alex was bad and that was all that mattered to Lexi.

Jaison Daniels

"It can be our little secret" he smirked winking at Alex. Jaison moved and took his shot potting once, then twice, he paused and sipped his drink. "I don't thinking cooking is classed as taking things out of packets and putting them in the oven" he teased stifling his laughter, Jaison missed his third shot and stepped aside. "Although Gran says if its cooked at home, its home cooked so.." the young man shrugged, laughter escaping his lips.

"Please" he said, sipping the last of his drink he moved to Alex. "I'd love that" he said briefly resting his head on Alex's shoulder as a sign of affection, before gesturing to the pool table, "your shot" he said stumbling slightly. He knew now, Felicity had got him a double.

Felicity Fox

"I won't argue that you know him better" she stated, sipping her own drink. "Following your dreams is important and well done to him on that" Felicity said glaring at Lexi, "but how long until he does it again?" she asked. Pausing, Felicity sipped the last of her drink, "that's what has me worried. Alex is here
for now and when he leaves it won't be you picking up the pieces, it'll be me. Me and his Gran and his sister, your not his friend Lexi, you don't know him like I do. It'll crush him, just like last time.. the business will close, the family will close their doors, and this time I don't think they'll get out of it" she sighed rolling her eyes. "I'm happy that Jaison is happy.. I want him to be. But I want him to be happier for longer, not just one night" Felicity stood picking up her purse, "I'm going to the bathroom" she said, moving off from the bar.

Alex Thompson

Alex laughed. "If cooking something at home is considered home cooking then I'm a five-star chef," he said smiling. He lined up his shot and sunk 3 more. "You know what I realized?" he asked with a smirk, leaning against the pool table and facing Jaison. "This is the first time I've seen you drunk. Should be interested," He teased. He walked to the bar and grabbed his drink, happy that he hadn't gotten anything alcoholic. "What time do you want to leave tomorrow? My old car is still at home, I can pick you up," He offered. He wasn't much of a morning person, but he'd get up if Jaison wanted him to.

Lexi Darbis

"Whatever Ms.Grumpy," Lexi said rolling her eyes. "I don't know why Jaison bothered inviting you. You're such a goddamn buzzkill." She had already finished her drink and she ordered a third. "This night is supposed to be about having fun with friends. If you can't do that, you might as well just go home. Come back when you aren't in such an annoying mood," Lexi said. She knew she was probably being harsh, but she couldn't help it. Alex was one of her really good friends, she wouldn't stand somebody talking bad about him. And that comment about her not being chief's friend? Talk about rude. Of course she was, otherwise he wouldn't have invited her out. Just because she hadn't been around him that long didn't mean she was any less his friend than Felicity.

Jaison Daniels

He chuckled along with Alex's joke, and rolled his eyes at his comment. "I am not drunk" he smirked covering his mouth to try and stop the rising laughter, Jaison leaned against the pool table accidentally knocking some of the balls with his hands. "Like eleven, we can do lunch" he winked sticking a thumb up at Alex, watching Felicity get up and move toward the bathroom before pausing. She turned looking to Lexi, but her eyes moved to Jaison, who grinned at her stupidly.

Felicity Fox

"Wonderful comebacks Lexi, thanks a bunch for putting me through those dire excuses" she muttered rolling her eyes she looked at Jaison, drunk. Her eyes moved to Alex, then Lexi and back to Jaison. "If you're going to go out that early, I should get you home Jaison.. I think you've had enough for one night" she stated, "right guys?" Felicity said looking to Lexi and Alex. She didn't wait for a reply, linking Jaison's arm. In his drunken stupor, he gave her cheek a gentle rub with his hand, a silly smile on his face.

"We can all go.. everyone's busy, busy, busy tomorrow" Jaison stated pointing at Lexi, Alex, Otto, himself and Felicity.

"No, let them stay. I'm sure Lexi and Alex want to catch up" she suggested, hoping to get Jaison away from the pair of them.

Alex Thompson

Alex waved his hands dismissively. "Lexi and I will have plenty of time to catch up. I can take Jaison home, I wanna make sure he gets there okay," He said, looking over Jaison's drunken figure. He couldn't help but smile. Jaison was usually so calm and collected, seeing him uninhibited like this was actually really entertaining. "Besides, I need to get to bed early if I want to drag myself up before noon," he said. He wasn't joking. He really wasn't a morning person. During high school, he needed to set four alarms because chances were he would sleep through the first three. He looped his arm through Jaison's free one, shooting Felicity what he hoped was a friendly smile. Though he had never spent much time with her, he knew she and Jaison were good friends. The last thing he wanted was to be on her bad side.

Lexi Darbis

Unlike Alex, Lexi did not care about not getting on Felicity's bad side. In fact, it was Felicity who had gotten on her bad side. "I'm pretty beat too. Someone sucked all the fun out of me," she said, stepping down from the bar stool. Walking right by Felicity, she linked arms with Alex. "Guess we're all leaving. Hope Otto doesn't mind," She said, peering down the bar at Otto, where he stood making drinks for customers. She figured he wouldn't mind though. He was so easy going, it was hard to imagine him getting mad at anyone. "Everyone ready to go?" She asked, looking at Alex and Jaison, but making it a point to ignore Felicity.

Felicity Fox

She sighed, heavily. "We don't all need to go with him, take him home Alex. Make sure he's okay before you leave, I'm in the opposite direction anyway" she stated. Unlinking Jaison's arm she kissed his cheek and went on ahead out of the bad, towards home. Felicity knew she'd prove Alex to be what she had expected soon, he would slip up and Lexi wasn't worth the minimal effort it'd take to get her fired.
