Codey was tired, hungry, and very thirsty. He had been sailing without food for almost three weeks, and had ran out of water two days ago. He had hoped to make it to a larger town with a larger supply of food and water to steal, but he was so desperate that he stopped at a tiny town the first chance he got. The boat was docked and Code was walking through the streets of the town looking for a place to get some supplies. He stopped at a leaky pipe and didn't bother checking if anyone was looking before stooping over and quenching his thirst. After that, his fatigue got the better of him and Code passed out on the dirt road, blond hair sprawled around him and bright red jacket thrown over him. His hat rolled a few feet away from his head.
The scent of bread drew Lynne toward a smaller part of town, with dirt roads, that was near the wharf. She walked down the road toward the docks, keeping to the right side. The second-to-last shop before the water was a small bakery, and at the moment no baker was present to witness Aralynne surreptitiously sneak a few loaves into her vest pocket. After slipping into the shadows under a roof of a small building, she noticed a blonde-haired guy napping on the side of the road. She wouldn't think this to be unusual, except that he sported clothes that made him look like a fairy tale threw up on him: expensive clothes fit for nobles and higher-class people, neither of which lived or had ever lived in this small town.
((probably won't be posting much today cause of father's day... maybe in the afternoon/night))
