The Wandering Tide

You basically just crashed the entire ship and the whole crew into an island without even checking with anyone if that would be OK. It would always have been difficult role playing something so insanely powerful compared to every other character in the RP, but all it would have taken was a bit more restriction on your behalf and a little bit of planning with the rest of the crew - then it would have worked.


Sorry it didn't work out.


Now let's have a talk about how we're going to go ahead from here - whether we're going to "reset" the Roleplay back to a certain point or just carry on. I'd like to hear everyone's opinion so we can all come to an agreeable decision.
 
Well, I guess since he left the roleplay, we'll just have to rid of the character?


Normally, in roleplays like these, we kill them off.


Maybe we could just disregard the post about the island, have someone drop an explosive into the Kraken's mouth when it opens, and boom, Kraken feast for everyone. Yum.


That last part was a joke. Anyways, input?
 
I say Songbird makes the post where the ship is all set up to sail again and we continue from there. I don't want this RP to die just because of one person.
 
Yup, I think we should go back to where the ship is set to sail. Seems like a good starting point. And I was also curious if Songbird was open to letting other's join in a different pirate crew much later. I just thought it'd be an interesting way to make some conflict. Like having the pirate crews war.

If the other pirate crew is going to be commanded by us as well, I wouldn't mind making a character to be part of the crew. So I can have a normal human character :3

if you guys want, you can definitely make characters from other crews. it would certainly help o-o
 
I might make a crew member, if anyone else is willing to make a crew member from a different crew as well /shrugs
 
Well alright, though my character will probably be posted later tomorrow. I already have a concept for her luckily so I can probably crank her out when my schedule clears up.

º The Hollow Pirate by everyone else, given to him because he is known for having no emotion or empathy inside, like he is hollow.


Age: 20


Gender: Male


Personality: Anthony tends to be a little ‘crusty’, he has a hard shell which can rarely be cracked and he is usually just an asshole to everyone. He isn’t necessarily a bully and won’t continuously hammer down on somebody in particular, it's just that he isn’t nice to anyone. It would be a completely false accusation though to say that he dislikes everyone, because that isn’t true, he just doesn’t show he likes anyone, if he does. He definitely doesn’t sympathize with anyone and is harsh. He prefers not to be interfered when he works. He also doesn’t express his emotions well, besides snarkiness of course. Despite this, Anthony has a sense of reliability and experience that attracts people to him and always has.

History: Anthony lost his parents in a drunken, rowdy pirate gathering (His parents were known as the Dr


unken Duo) when he was 5. He was told they were too drunk to feel anything. After the death of his parents he was taken in by his godfather who was a notorious pirate, and so he was raised in the life of pirates. He became a first-mate by age 16 and had an opportunity to become captain at 17 once the old man died, oddly he left the crew with a trusted friend however. For the past 3 years he has been off the charts, out of rumor, out of knowledge. No one knows where he went off to, but within the last months he has appeared again, not as captain but as quartermaster(once again).


º He got the nickname Bones because when he was younger, the older crew mates would joke over the ferocity of his personality, saying that whenever Anthony was on board he would make them ‘shake all the way down to their bones’.


Weapon(s) of choice: Since he was trained since early childhood, Anthony has a few favorite weapons.

Okay I added that, his ship is The Gold Raven but he isn't the captain so it's totally changeable if nobody likes it :3
 
Do you think we could use The Imperial Nightingale for the ship's name? If you don't like it that's fine .~.


Also if someone else wishes to be captain I can change my charrie.

Nickname: Ki


Age: 19


Gender: Female


Personality: Ki can be summed up in about three words. Collected yet idealistic. Despite having been born on a Japanese pirate ship and raised in that sort of hardy and violent culture, she can't help but ignore the faults of others. She has trouble judging people as anything but good and it often leads her into difficult situations. Her one escape from her overt idealism and innocence is assuming an authoritative role, which she oddly doesn't have a problem with. She can be sort of heartless when comes to the good of her crew if that makes any sense. She can't help but love people in the sense that she wants what's best for them despite herself. She'd happily throw herself in front of a blade for a stranger and when it comes to people like her crew whom she's almost overly attached to, she won't stop at anything to do what's best for them. She has a little bit of a reputation for running a very tight knit crew. She doesn't tolerate disobedience but anyone who sticks with her long enough doesn't have a problem following her orders. They've only led to good so far.

History: Ki was born to a Japanese pirate or wokou, and is Japanese herself. Her parents were killed in a raid only a year after her birth and it was the captain on their crew who felt obligated to raise her, as a dear friend to her parents. She's known how to handle a blade ever since she can remember and due to the fact that her adopted father knew how to use most any sort of bladed weapon, if you hand her a piece of sharpened metal, she can probably kill something with it. She was a participant in raids ever since she could drive a knife through flesh knows the seas, particularly to the east, like the back of her hand. Since her father was captain, she's known how to command a ship for a long while as well. She never really had a problem with the her ruthless way of life until her father was killed and the crew either left or killed one another in a fight for leadership. She was left on her own, age sixteen, and hitched herself a ride to the west. Lucky for her she already knew English since her father was raised in Britain and had taught her the language. She's been on a number of pirate ships since then and has contributed her fair share to each, but she got tired of being a follower and so here she is, captain of the Imperial Nightingale.


Weapons: She stores some bo shuriken (first picture) on her belt and also pins her hair up with them at all times and they just so happen to be inherited from her father. She also stores a pair of tantos (second picture) she inherited at her sides and they are probably her favorite weapon. She also has a rapier which she received on a raid in the west and uses fairly often along with one of her tantos. (the rapier is shown in her character picture)
