greetings! not sure if i should write here before my character is accepted, but i hope that i didn't go too overboard with the references. i'd love to plot, especially family ties, and i'm equally excited to join the rp.

that'd be great! i can't say that it was my first priority when i decided to emulate one of the batshit crazy purebloods, but the extremely extended family shtick is always welcome. since sidnors really fell (picture gaunts) from two to three generations ago, lisianth and the blake twins could be third/second cousins (if the blakes would accept a bride/groom from a ruined family, first cousins).
 
Perhaps Lydia and Sebastian’s Aunt “tarnished” the Blake family by marrying for love instead of reputation/money/power?
 
could be it, but the marriage with a hypothetical sidnor would still bring great repute to blakes, whether or not said sidnors are on their hind legs. maybe the aunt ran off without her family agreeing to the marriage and it ended up being a huge scandal for the pureblood circles. if you want, i could make lisianth's mother, hesper, be blake instead of a made-up family. the reconciliation would happen right after lisianth's birth, both to consolidate support and because it would be better than outright cutting ties, since the sidnor name carries enormous weight (in perspective). if not, then the twins' aunt could've married anemon's older brother (whom i will make up) and reconciled with her family through hesper's mediation.

Gonna work on replies today. I do think I’m waiting on some kind of response for Calista. I’d prefer to not post until she possibly gets a response that way I actually have something to work with.
