"Arent we all?" Ashton replied as he stepped over a fallen branch "You were captured? Where'd they take you? They took me to Hornford Academy" Hornford Academy wasnt actually an academy, it was more like a prison/lab, Ashton was only there for a few weeks before he managed to escape. After a few mintues they found the clearing where his backpack was. Ashton shifted back to his human form, even though he was nude. Ashton didnt really mind or get embarrassed about being nude in front of other people as he had spent long periods of time in his tiger form and even nude in his human form, in secluded forests, and its not like he had anything to be ashamed off, he wasnt fat, he was actually quite well built and strong for his age. Although he did have a variety of scars on his back and chest.

 

[Myla]

Suri shudders before talking, "Danaw Fort. They were trying to get a few of us to either A) become practically servants or whores or B) They were trying to run tests on them." If Suri weren't in her cat form she would've blushed again and looks at him surprised that he's so comfortable in doing so. She could never really look at the opposite gender nude without blushing.

"Ah, Danaw Fort, you went to one of the fancy ones" Ashton replied as he walked over to his backpack. He looked back at the girl, even though she was in her panther form he could still tell that she was a little surprised that he had transformed back into his naked self. "Oh, Sorry" He said grinning. He reached down to pick up his backpack - but suddenly he heard a noise, the sound of boots crunching the leaves on the ground, it had to be atleast 50 metres away, but most shifters like himself had extremely hightened senes. He turned to look at the girl "Did you hear that?" He asked.

 

[Myla]

"The more fancy it is, the worse it is and it's okay." Suri automatically stops and nods turning deadly silent. She looks at him and quietly says, "We need to go. It sounds like the authorities."

 

[TwistedDreams]

Ashton quickly grabbed his backpack and gestured to the girl with his hand to move back the way they came. He shifted back in his tiger form, slinking quickly into the thick of the forest.

 

[Myla]

Suri nods following him making her steps quiet as she starting going back the way they went. Her ears twitches as she's on high alert and scans the area. She says quietly so only boy hears, "We have to either run or hide."

"Your right" Ashton replied as he picked up speed "Lets run". If they hid they risked the authoroities or whoever it was, crossing their path and possibly finding them. "I hope you can keep up" He said smirking as much as a tiger could. He instantly broke into a dashing run, sprinting through the forest at top speed.

 

[Myla]

"I could keep up perfectly fine. If I remember correctly you were the one struggling to keep up." She started running with him easily keeping up with his speed and quite enjoying the run, but at the same time fears being caught. "I may not be that strong, but speed is one of my best traits."

 

[TwistedDreams]

"Impressive" He replied as they dashed through the forest. Suddenly a metal like net that pulsed with electricity shot past Ashtons face, splintering a tree next to him.


"Snatchers" He hissed to the girl as he forced his body to pick up more speed. He glanced back seeing atleast six men, all in long black coats holding metallic like batons, shooting the electrified metal nets at them. Aashton quickly dash to side, narrowly avoiding one of the nets. "Dont let them hit you" He growled to the girl. as leaped over a large bush.

 

[Myla]

Suri nods picking up more speed, "Don't worry I don't plan on it." She looks back, "We need to split up. By splitting up it will cause the snatchers to split up as well. It will be easier to lose three men each then us two staying together and losing six men." Suri ducks a second before getting hit with the net being lucky to barely miss it. She huffs seeing the the net.

 

[TwistedDreams]

Ashton nodded before dashing off to the right away from the girl, as she had said, three of the men dashed after him, they were abnormally fast for humans, constantly shooting metal nets at him. He ducked and weeved, sliding under branches and through bushes.

 

[Myla]

Suri goes at top speed pushing herself, she looks behind at the three men trying think of how to lose them. As she runs, she pick the darkest and grassiest areas to run through so that they could struggle to get her and buy herself more time.

 

[TwistedDreams]

Ashton continued dashing through the forest, wheeving left and right trying to lose the men, he glanced back in time to see the men split off, two on either side and one behind. He quickly dashed to right and with a huge leap flew towards one of the men, his jaws latching on to the mans face as he tore at it, it was quite gruesome. Suddenly he felt an intense shot of electirity shoot through him as the force of the metal net flung him off the man. Ashton lashed violently on the ground as the two remaining men drew closer, just as they reached him he managed to hook his paw under the net and fling in forward at one of the men before dashing off messily through the forest. He glanced back, but no one was chasing him, the remaining man that was not injured had quickly gone to the aid of the man with the mauled face. Ashton circled around, hoping to find the girl he had met before.

 

[Myla]

Suri looks back seeing that she managed to slow them down, but not for long. As Suri runs, she notices two of the men disappear and she growls knowing they're planning something. After a few minutes she manages to lose the last man and sighs in relief, but the relief was short lived as they reappear and this time to corner her. Suri is forced to a stop and takes up a fighting position and growls loudly.She runs and leaps at the first man attacking him leaving behind deep claw marks and bites over his body.

Ashton sprinted through the forest, trying to spot the girl he was with before, his hightened smell didnt help him much as all he could smell was rain mixed with metallic smell of blood. Soon he heard a piercing yell, instantly he dashed off in the direction of the noise and after only a few second he burst through a large bush, roaring as he toar at one of the men. He looked over and saw that the girl had already killed, or atleast badly injured one of the men.

 

[Myla]

Suri looks at the boy glad that he's there to help her, "Thank you." She leaps off the last man that was standing and growls showing her fangs. The man looks at her and throw a hidden knife he had right at her, but she moves away right at the nick of time and leaps onto the man mauling him like she did to the other. Suri looks up at the boy, "We need to get out the forest, like now! We don't know if there were only six."

 

[TwistedDreams]

Ashton grinned as he watched the girl maul the last man. "Which way should we go?" Ashton had no idea where they were as they had ran quite deep into the forest. "Im Ashton by the way" He said, remembering that he still didnt know the girls name.

 

[Myla]

Suri smiles back, "I'm Suri and I'm not sure, but I think our best bet is to run until we come across another. Once we reach the town, I think we should change into our human form to clean our selves up and find some clothes to wear because for now it's not safe to shift until we find a secure location to do so." She tries to clean off the blood off her fur using the rain and the wet grass.

Ashton nodded, going back to the town that he was at before probably wasnt a good idea as the snatchers probably knew that they were there and they will certainly send more snatchers afer them after they learn that five of their men had been killed. "Lead the way" He said, gesturing forward.

 

[Myla]

Suri nods starting to go into a slight run, "With one guy still alive we are going to have to be careful. They probably know what we look like in our cat form." She looks up at Ashton staying by his side enjoying his company and using him as a rain shield since he's bigger than her.

 

[TwistedDreams]

Ashton enjoyed the rain but it was also a bit of a disadvantage for them as it made it quite hard to smell or hear anyone coming. "Yeah, your probably right" Ashton replied to Suri as the two ran through the forest. "They probably know a lot about us" he added.

 

[Myla]

Suri nods running jumping over the branches, "Our best chance in my opinion is to shift as soon as possible. They may know our cat forms, but not our human forms. We have to be careful when we shift though because if they see what we look like human than we are as good as dead."

Ashton nodded as they continued to run through the forest. He was pretty sure that they had lost the snatchers, for now atleast.


It was nightfall before they reached the next town, a larger town, from the trees where they were it looked to be atleast twice the size of the last one. "You need to get some clothes" Ashton said looking out at the town, he already had clothes in his backpack.

 

[Myla]

Suri nods looking at the town, "Yes I do, but how am I suppose to get clothes being in my cat form? I can't exactly shift and walk through the town naked nor walk like this." She slows down to a stop next to him being pretty tired from the day and is more at ease now that they lost the snatchers even if it wasn't for good.

 

[TwistedDreams]

"I'll get them" Ashton said as he quickly moved back into the forest, behind a large tree before he shifted back into his his human form. He quickly put his clothes on which were quite weathered and worn as many shifters such as himself were homeless, constantly running from the authorities. "Wait here, I'll be back soon" he said as brushed hands down his worn greyish coat, quickly leaving the forest and walking towards the town.
