For the whole upcoming war between Hakon and Agnar, I just want to clarify (on the off chance anyone is confused) that Hakon holds two towns. His home settlement, Bersig (which is where he lives) and Hagevik (Inghard's old home.) There's some distance between the two, obviously enough that ruling over both is a simple enough prospect, but they are linked by river, not by roads.
Just so @northguy @John Raptorfist @DarknessSpirit know where they are lol.

As for the plan for the whole war arc, I was thinking that Aron brings news of the impending assault to Hakon. While he rallies his soldiers, Agnar and the army of Egersund approach Hagevik. The uprising goes as planned and they seize the town, but Hakon still has an army that needs to be defeated in order to secure their victory.

After that, now King Agnar and Earl Inghard march north, and fight the forces of Earl Hakon and Magnus. Thoughts, extra ideas, criticism? @JacobLoL

@The Elusive Shadow @Sharkiee @Haus Of Alaska

forgive me if i missed any other tags
Sounds good, i think Hakon should escape to rally his army in Bersig.

Hey guys, just got home. I'll try to make responses soon.

Also @JacobLoL , I assumed that Hakon's Earldom was at least a day of hard riding.. Could an entire reach that fast? :V

I dont know, was just an estimate, might get there later.

Also, Magnus is going to challenge the earl to fair combat, claiming he is the descendant of a old king from the area, using the knife Aron gave him. Before this, he's probably going to try to win the support of some of the local people/troops in the area in secrecy (I'm hoping this won't be very hard because I heard that the current earl is hated by many of his people). If he wins the fight, he will declare himself the rightful, independent earl of the town. He will back out of the war with Agnar (for now...hehehehehe) and try to settle the unstable earldom. That is my plan for Magnus. Let me know if you want anything changed.

Just saying, at some point i want Agnar and Magnus to have a badass fight.

@John Raptorfist that should be fine but he's mostly hated by the people of Hegevik cause he's a conqueror and he works them to the bone. Hagevik is a farmers town, and Bersig is not. So the people of Bersig know he's cold, but he gives them food so they still support him. If you wanted to make it work you could have Magnus play up that it was Hakons stupidity that caused Hagevik to revolt, thus costing the people precious food

The loss of a precious commodity is always ripe for rabble rousing. And I assume Magnus can be quite the Rabble rouser when he wants.

Though I was kind of hoping Inghard and Hakon could meet in combat. Hakon did kill his father

Sounds like a good idea. I'll change my post. Yeah, Inghard can meet Hakkon in combat. But I need to be able to get Magnus to be earl somehow.

I mean we can say that Hakon doesn't have any children, so Magnus could contend with the would be heirs of his extended family.
