Slightly edited my previous post cause I can't stand having conflicting posts (ocd -.-)


Anyway can you clarify a couple of details so I don't start making assumptions again? Are the 'others' mentioned in the scene Pale Rider, Scorpia, Iron Man, etc. or are they just fodder guards? How close did Matthew teleport them?
 
The other Terror Inc agents tend to be cannon fodder. That is I rarely care about them. But they do wear body armor and have military grade weaponry.


(Hydra agents are different. They serve the greater entity of Hydra. There are a lot more of them on the ship. And they handle the ship security. But they also have excellent gear.) So if you take any out and assume their roles ...


I would guess Matthew brought you within about 30 yards - close enough to listen in at best. He was afraid to get any closer. Too many for him to handle.


 
Whoops ... I guess I need to re-clarify ... The meeting was a private one - Capes only, you might say. The agents are guarding the entrances (as opposed to exits). They really aren't prepared to maintain security against teleportation. Muerte didn't want to have all the agents witnessing the crushing of a Faberge ... which is still a sickening thought. Muerte may very well be a mad megalomaniac.


 
Oh ... also, Iron Man is moving like he's been in a tough fight very recently. But he wears a suit of body armor about like Sean's ... and he's as big as Sean's brother ... 6'9".
 
I'm just trying to clarify all the important npcs in the scene cause you only mentioned Hellburner and "others". I didn't want to automatically jump to conclusions--in case the "others" aren't who I think they are(Pale Rider, Scorpia, etc.).They are...right? It would be awkward if Edwin mentions recognizing the others from Janice's description if Hellburner and Dr. Muerte are the only ones present in costume...


So...Matthew and Eddie ported into a private meeting...DESCRIPTION would be nice. Is it like a private office? Storage area? Engine room?(I don't actually think they're having a meeting in the engine room, but my point is I have no idea where they are....). Are Matthew and Edwin hiding behind anything while they listening to the conversation?


I do suspect Iron Man of being Sam(from what I read of the previous posts and because I've come to the realization that you don't mention names unless they're important), but Eddie has never met Sean's brother nor is he aware that Sam was at the cage fight. I don't want to give Eddie awesome random deduction skills.


The more details I get, the better. Otherwise, I'm left to making things up/writing scenes as I imagine them...which might conflict what you're imagining...

Yep, I use the occasional first name for thugs (Rafael and Garth). Full names tend to be more important. The idea is not to flood you with too many names to keep straight.


Yes, the group is part of Terror Inc (in costume - which is funny when you think about it, but maybe justifies the group's costumes). Thought I was clear about where it was. They are in a shipping hold, Lots of containers stacked up. Muerte would choose a location where the group can't be sniped on (ie from above), but I used such a view to give an idea how the "room" is formed - really just a large gap created by containers ... and a height of about 30 feet.

This isn't the whole group, but the key members. Muerte's armor looks like it will handle any man held weaponry. Scorpia is the only one with minimal armor.


I wasn't done with their conversation, but I did want to give you a chance to interject your character's thoughts.
 
Ah...when you mentioned guards at the entrance, I assumed they were in an enclosed room of some kind. Also since Erica's trapped in a room with a bed, I assumed they'd have a better area to meet than the shipping hold. As u can see, I have a tendency to make lots of assumptions. Thanks for the pictures though ^^


Edwin's gonna want to tail Hellburner as soon as the conversation's finished...if nothing else happens, of course =P. Can I go ahead and rp that they had found their disguises during one of Matthew's hops or should I assume that they haven't found time to do that yet?

Entrances ... sorry about that. Honestly I had doors pictured in my own mind too, but that doesn't fit with the ship. I would say more access points. And the guards are there to keep people out, not in. The access points should be slightly over the width of a container.


Disguises. Yes ... dang it, I meant to have Matthew clown around about that and find a uniform that is ill-fitting. He REALLY hates the uniforms.... LOL, below is a picture of Professor Muerte along with a couple Terror Inc agents. You can just imagine how hard it is to manage a temporary disguise. (I was just really tired and run down. My cough has been making it hard to get good sleep.)

LOL ... FYI, if you don't get Hellburner soon, you'll be in competition with Erik for him. Of course, Erik might just leave him to you. Serves him right for being such an idiot.


Not sure how the meeting will go, but if Hellburner mouths off too much Muerte will slap him silly. He tolerates Hellburner mainly for the man's talents. But he has others who can replace him and they have better restraint.


 
Oh .. sorry ... Terror Inc is Professor Muerte's squad. There's also an Armor Inc, a Deathstroke, and CRIME.

Edwin's gonna enjoy watching Hellburner get slapped around...if that happens of course >=D. He already kinda figures that Hellburner's not too bright from the conversation so far.


Lol. They've still got time to get costumes, if you want to rp Matthew's silliness. I had two options:


1. They're already wearing their disguises.


2. Edwin tells Matthew to quickly knock some nobodies out(0f his choice) and steal their uniform while Edwin continues to keep an eye on the conversation. Matthew's teleporting ability + strength makes things easy.
 
Hey guys, just checking in. I'm still recovering from whatever hit me Saturday, but things seem to be on the up and up. I have a metric ton on my plate this week though including projects, tests, essays and more. I'm honestly not sure what time I will have to get writing done, as much as I enjoy it. I know for certain I won't be able to get up a post tonight, but I might be able to tomorrow afternoon sometime. My concern is that I don't want to hold up the roleplay just because I have a lot on my plate for the next week, as things should clear up by April 14th/15th. If you just want to bunny the character or move past the plot points, that works fine for me. I'll try and catch up and post when I can.

It could as easily be an hour or so after the fight ... or the next morning (by which time Matthew would need to get home). Erik isn't going to stay the whole time either. He has his own agenda which takes place off the ship. He lives in NYC.


This plot has a number of checks and balances. I even had fail safes built in, in case the rescue of Janice Rand went poorly. (Erik would be furious to learn about it. If you knew his character background, you'd understand.) He might go so far as to free her himself - and those who tried to free her. Hydra had her hidden from Erik for a reason.


As my last post with Iron Man, you guys now have it confirmed who he is ... and where he stands as far as his brother goes. What noone knew - including Sean - was that Samuel Reed had a wife and kid. Rescue them, and you might turn Iron Man against Hydra.


This is how Hydra works. They find the weakness of their operatives and exploit them. There are really too many plots for you guys to take them on all at once. You are going to need to pick and choose.

LOL, looking forward to it. LOL, Matthew figures that if kevin could give him a nice beating, Sean or Samuel might be just as capable. So 3 vs 2 is still a bit much.
 
I keep forgetting that Mattie only works at night >.<


How many hours until sunlight? That'll probably effect what Edwin chooses to do.


I already kinda have an idea in my head what Edwin's response would be(since I know my character so well=P), but posting will have to wait until after class. I also have an exam Thurs...physiological Ecology isn't really hard, but I'm pretty sure I still need to review.
 
Figure you got there around 2130 ... sunrise is at 0500. Probably no later than 2200 for Janice's meeting. Her place isn't that far from the docks. She left her place around 2100. An hour would be plenty.


 
bought Plague Inc: Evolved. So I've had an extra something to entertain me, plus 100+ hours in movies.

Umm, did Matthew literally just reached into the shadows and pull out the uniform...or did he pick up the uniform that had been partially hidden in the shadows?
 
Reached into the shadow. Sort of like his version of pulling a rabbit out of a hat.

LOL .. nice post. Matthew is going to have to ask what takes a priority - searching for Sean and Erica ... or tailing Scorpia, Iron Man and Hellburner. (The latter are leaving as a group - not splitting up.)
 
Well, kinda need to know if Matthew is going to search for them. Can't do both.

Miserable day. Spent all day hunting for an empty trailer. Our customers haven't been unloading the ones they have. Killed whole day driving in Chicago with heavy rain.
