While both of you are online - I hope - does everyone want to go to the meeting? If it weren't already about midnight and Matthew needing to find shelter around 0500 (sunrise) .. I'd suggest disguises for everyone. But it would probably take a bit too long - and would assume Eddie brought all his stuff.
 
I don't see what choice they have. Erica's logic is that if the Dark Knight hasn't been outed by this person and has revealed who he is, then the person must be at least somewhat trustworthy.
 
Enough to disguise everyone? On the move? Dark Knight isn't going to worry about a disguise. RS knows who he is. Jennifer probably knows. No point in wasting the time or materials.

Well, I did say Edwin is abnormally fast at putting on disguises, I'm sure he can whip something up for everyone...if they want...


He might carry sun-block for Mr. UV sensitive too =P

I still need to up date Erica's character sheet, but I'm about to head out for a bit. I'll look at getting that done later tonight and hopefully a post too.
 
That should do it. I may be doing a JP with Sharlene .. and getting everyone to the meeting. Going to take me awhile. Just wanted to know if everyone was going .. and if disguising.
 
Just to clarify...are they all going together?


I know Eddie, Sean, and Matthew r probably going to be in Sean's jeep, but what about the others?
 
yep .. I am going to have them drop their cars at DK's home ... and take a taxi.


Jennifer will ride with James. James designed some of DK's gear - and Sean's In particular the visors they wear. He also helped with the armor - though he never saw the actual armor made. Just explained the process. James is going to get a laugh when he sees both men.


Erica had a motorcycle. She could leave that at DK's as well.


Once the group sees DK out of armor, it makes more sense. He never lied to anyone.
 
Erica will ride motorcycle to DK's. Apparently I don't have to go anywhere so I'm going to be working on readjusting Erica to fit the martial artist.


 
Erica's CS should be updated for Martial Artist. I'm not a huge fan of the name though. If anyone has a better suggestion, please give let me know.

hmm, u could go with something Greek...seems to be a theme with all the others (Olympus, Arachne, Eidolon)

He seemed like an important NPC so I was wondering when you'd introduce him:)

Not exactly. He has no memories from before he was taken in by the monks at St Michael's ... except as nightmares.


Oh, regarding my thoughts about the group's limits. I am thinking along the lines of Marvel characters like Black Widow, Hawkeye, Captain America (minus the vibranium shield), and so on. I am going to think hard about characters like Falcon and Iron Man. Those last two are rater too comic bookish. The first two are very human. I wish I could think of a good magician type ... Mysterio? Yeah he's a villain, but the closest I can think of.


 
I actually forgot to have Matthew do one more trick when he was healing.
 
I guess he falls under Meta human then xD . Super hearing, nocturnal, UV-sensitive skin, and now blood healing. Actually if I had to guess, I'd guess it'd be something similar to spiderman's radioactive exposure...except with bats.


Just so you know blood can't actually heal wounds when ingested. Their main function is to carry O2. The idea of blood healing derived from the fact that platelets can aggregate to produce and crosslink fibrin and close wounds.


The only possible way to heal wounds with blood is to inject active platelets at the site of the wound and hope that coagulation starts(sci-fi explantion. I don't think this has ever been done before, but I could be wrong). However, ingesting blood just takes it through the digestive tract and into your stomach. Some creatures do use blood for nutrients, but they can't heal wounds by ingesting blood. That's why vampires fall under more magical aspect than sci fi.
 
Yep .. Matthew is probably going to be the worst of the metahuman sorts. I am still debating another, whether I will use him as a metahuman, or just let him die. That's one of the villains.


I am also debating a whole team of villains with a mystical origin. Again ... not sure I even want to introduce them. I may completely rewrite them, doing a very heavy nerfing in the process. Mainly I plan to nerf all the metahumans to where they can be dealt with by normal mortal means - maybe tough, but killable.


 
The important thing is that it has to be fun, or there is no point.
 
Oh no, wasn't talking about Matthew, but a villain known as Hellburner. He's the guy who burned Nico.
 
I'll try and get a post in right now.


 
I figured I'd point out the fact that we went from "Finding Nico's Killer" to "Fighting Against Global Terrorist Organization That Could Totally Kill Us" really fast.
