The Vampire and her inheritance (Alaross)

[Maykiri]

"No. I'm just gonna show you something." She moved behind the door and then offered him an invitation. "Now act like a guest." She closed the door, waiting.

 

[Alaross]

He seems surprised, but complies and takes the invitation. After a short while, he knocks on the door.

 

[Maykiri]

Kasey opened the door, standing in the doorway, to prevent the people from coming in. She offered a smile. "Hello, welcome to the Trustane Estate. May I help you?"

 

[Alaross]

"Good morning. I'm here for the ball." He takes the envelope out and hands it to her. He seems like he's having fun with this.

 

[Maykiri]

She took the envelope, pulling the invitation from it, glancing it over before nodding. She stepped away, letting him in. "May I take your coat?"

 

[Alaross]

"Yes, thank you." He takes off his suit jacket, leaving his dress shirt and holding it out to her.

 

[Maykiri]

She took it, moving into the closet and putting it up. She then set the invitation on a decoration table next to closet. She turned to him, gesturing to what she did, saying 'Hey, look what I did this is how it's done.' She went back and grabbed his suit jacket, handing it him. "Please follow me to the ballroom."

 

[Alaross]

He looks away again to memorize her steps, then puts his jacket back on. "Please lead the way."

 

[Maykiri]

Kasey smiled and started walking, closing the door behind him. She hummed softly, opening the door and gesturing inside. "Please enjoy your stay."

 

[Alaross]

He nods to her, smiling. "Thank you very much." He steps inside the ballroom, stifling a laugh.

 

[Maykiri]

"Something funny, Alex?" Kasey stood there, leaning against the doorframe, eyebrows raised.

 

[Alaross]

"Just that I'm supposed to be your butler, but you're pretending to be mine." He turns around to face her, still smiling.

 

[Maykiri]

She rose an eyebrow. "I'm simply trying to show you how to do this particular event. Though usually all the events end up like this. I sent invitations and no one is allowed in without one." She shrugged lightly, turning and walking away.

 

[Alaross]

"No, I know. It's just funny. Oh, earlier, you mentioned having to take care of any problems. What do you think some of those problems might be?"

 

[Maykiri]

Kasey looked back at him. "Hmm. Disturbance. Missing.. Just regular problem stuff at events." She shrugged lightly, smiling lightly.

 

[Alaross]

He nods. "Alright, I can deal with that. Thank you for taking the time to teach me, mistress." He bows.

 

[Maykiri]

Kasey nodded, smiling lightly. "Good, good. I left the invitation on the table for you to look over."

 

[Alaross]

"I'll take q few minutes before the ball starts to look over. Now if you'll excuse me, I'd like to go back to my room to go over what I need to."


((Think we can start the party now?))

 

[Maykiri]

Kasey had changed into a more full gown, still hiding the fact that she wore no shoes. She was in the ballroom, with her family, them having arrived earlier. She was laughing as the door was knocked on.


A couple stood at the door, waiting. The man held the invitation in his hand, ready to hand over.

 

[Alaross]

Alex quickly walks over to the door, excited to actually start working. He opens it slightly and steps into the space. "Good evening, sir and madam, and welcome to the Trustane Estate. How may I help you?"

 

[Maykiri]

The couple look over and smile. The man hands the invitation out. "We're here for the event."

 

[Alaross]

Alex takes the invitation and looks it over to see if it matches the one from earlier.

 

[Maykiri]

The couple waits, the invitation indeed matching.


((After this couple we'll get to the party part.))

 

[Alaross]

He steps aside, pocketing the invitation. "Welcome once again to Trustane Estate. May I take your coats?"

 

[Maykiri]

The man gives him his outer coat and the woman hands over a coat, but keeps a wrap.
