The Vampire and her inheritance (Alaross)

Sasha dropped some carrots into a pot, looking to him. "I'm a little busy. I do have to cook for an entire ball tonight." She rose an eyebrow, nodding. "Please leave."

((I don't mind skipping to the party))

"Oh, ok. Well...thanks anyway. I'll see you around."

((If there's no other coworkers for Alex, I wouldn't mind having him chat with Kasey a bit more))

((Sure. Kasey is in the gardens))

Kasey was on her knees, rummaging through the dirt, probably planting some seeds since this area had none in it.

Kasey looked up, blowing hair from her face. "Hmm? Oh no no. I'm fine. Learn the layout, yet?" She went back to digging around.

"A bit, yes. I have a pretty good memory, so it wasn't that hard. I get the feeling Sasha doesn't really like me though..."

Kasey laughed lightly. "Don't take it personally. She doesn't like anyone, but myself.. and maybe one member of her staff. Did you need something, Alex?" She glanced to him before reaching over at his feet and grabbing a small sack of seeds.

"Um, no, I don't really need anything. I just was wondering where I could find some of my other coworkers? ...and you're absolutely sure you don't need help?"

Kasey shook her head again. "Oh no no. It's fine. Don't dirty your uniform." She looked up at him. "They are probably getting everything ready for the ball. It'll be easier to talk tomorrow.. if you last that long."

He smiles nervously. "Well, I hope I do. This place looks like fun to be in, and I'd love to work for you."

"We'll see, Alex, we'll see." Kasey stood, dusting her hands together. She looked at him, tilting her head. "Do you have any experience as a butler?"

"Not especially, no. I just applied because I saw the application was looking for one, and I thought I could do it. We'll have to see if I'm any good."

Kasey rose an eyebrow. "Indeed we will." She waved him after her, starting to walk back into the house.

Kasey hummed lightly, glancing back at him. "Well. Go inside. We're gonna practice when a guest enters." She waited in front of the door.

Kasey knocked on the door, looking around the door, rubbing a smudge off a pillar, waiting.

He opens the door and bows to her. "Welcome to the (insert Kasey's last name) mansion. How may I be of service to you?"

Kasey looked over at him, giving a smile. "Oh hello, yes. I'm here for the ball thing." She pauses, holding up a hand. "Good greeting, except it's Trustane Estate, not mansion. And. No one is allowed in without an invitation, which I will show you later." She waved her hand, nodding, having him continue.

"Oh, right. Trustane estate, invitation. Right." He looks off to the side, putting those facts into memory. "Now then, miss. May I see your invitation?"

Kasey blinked. "Oh yes! My apologies." She fishes into her fake purse and pulls out a fake invitation, offering it. She puts her hand up again. "Though I am a woman, it will most likely be the men talking and giving the invitation. There will be a few woman alone and a few men alone." She waved her hand again.

He nods. "Mostly couples, but not always. Got it." He takes the invitation from her and opens the door. "Please come in, madam."

Kasey looked at him, stepping inside. She smiles lightly, hands clasped. She held nodded and stepped away. "Now. Outside, let me show you something." She gestured to him.
