Jenny looked at the rest of the group "anybody hungry?" She asked
Joey: *Looking to see Jenny* Hey there... Who's asking about being hungry? We're kinda getting hungry. But can't leave... this battle's too interesting.
Cherry: We're kinda getting a bit famished.

Joanna: It's been a very long day. Food would be soo good about now. *Feeling her stomach getting a little queasy*

"Will anyone help me with setting up some tables?" Jenny asked as she turned back to her car
Yugi: *Stepping up to assist* We'll help.
Joey: *Walking over towards Jenny* We'll give a hand. Come on, yug. Let's give the young lady a hand.
Zod: *Calling out her Lucario* Lucario, Help out Jenny with the tables.
"Lucario!"
Rcticwolf
"Young?" Jenny chuckled "that's sweet Joey, but I'm older than you" she added with a smile before getting to her car and opening the trunk, which held more items then the trunk could possibly allow
Jenny and her Pokemon carried the cooking utensils as well as the ice chests with the ingrediantsLucario was at the side and close to the trunk... Inside the trunk, there was a whole Cluster of Tables and chairs...
Joey: Whoa. That's gotta be one stuffed up trunk.
Yugi: How can anyone just put that much in one trunk?
Joey: I don't know. But this car is clearly a super car. It can't be a normal car. Not possible.
It was then that they grabbed some of the tables and started carrying them over to where the crowd were.
Ridge looked and saw what was going on and he suddenly ran over to take hold of a table and make way with carrying them to the table. He had his Gurdurr lend a hand in carrying a couple tables too... It helped cut the process of unloading by nearly half or over that...

The Synchronoise hit with a less-than-expected effectiveness. The Shadowball retaliation hit. Super effective. So she does know how to match types. Espeon took thr blow, seemingly not too well. He would have to recover his health to stay into things. But Espeon had several advantages, notably speed. That had to be exploited.
"I appreciate what you're saying, Macie, I really do. But I'm not giving in yet."
Macie believed in what she was saying. Green could read that much about her. But reading your opponents is a critical part of battle. Speeding and detecting their moves. Combining two moves would take much too long. That would be enough time for Solus to dodge it.
"Solus, quick, use your Agility, then Detect your opponents combo move!" she shouted. Green focused on thr Gothita, watching it attempt to crush two wildly different brands of attacks into one. In that moment, Solus was able to see where it was planning to hit, and dodged it with ease.
Solus was still hurt, but the Rest move was Gothita's undoing. Now it was time to turn it around on the Gothita. This whole battle Solus had been raising it's abilities to new heights, and now the Gothtia was stopping to rest it's health. It'd be stuck in it's tracks for at least two moves. Unless...
"You should've stayed on your offensive. Now that Gothita is asleep, I can keep in trapped! Solus, use Dream Eater, followed by Yawn!"
The Dream Eater will heal Solus back to health while hurting the Gothita. Then Solus's Yawn will keep the Gothita asleep right when it was supposed to wake up from it's Rest! It's stuck fast asleep!
There's no way that that Pokemon should have been able to wake up from it's own rest that long. Before Espeon, a much faster Pokemon, could even make a move. It must have had a Chesto Berry hidden about it. If so, the maybe Macie was more clever than she thought.
That or that Gothita had some ability unforseen even amongst pseudo-legendary Pokemon. The Chesto Berry theory was the only one that made a modicum of sense.
Espeon's Calm Mind earlier in battle had allowed it to take the hit, just as offguard from this unexpected attack. Espeon was flinched, taking the next Psychic attack.
It was then that the Gothita started to evolve. Were this fight more tooth-and-nail, then it would be a perfect time to attack. Instead Green grabbed a Pokeball from her belt.
"Come back, Solus."
Green recalled her Pokemon back into it's ball and put it into it's pocket.
"I would say that that is enough. Congratulations on your Gothorita."
It was just as the final attacks were to hit. Were to make contact and do damage... Gothita had then glowed with a blinding star studded light and with a pulse of psychic vibrations... Gothita evolved into Gothorita. It was then in it's second stage and when it grew... It stood in attention.
"Gothorita!"

Macie: *Walking over to pick up Gothorita* Gothorita, You're amazing. I am so pleased to see that you're growing up. You battled with alot of heart. *Smiles*...
Leslie: *Calling it* Solus has been withdrawn from battle. The winner by default is Gothorita!
The crowd cheers for Macie's pokemon... But also gave a standing ovation for a very dedicated effort to Macie's adviser.
Macie: *Walking over to Mrs. Taylor* I am very happy to know that you're with a strong team. Your pokemon was really amazing back there. It was even syncing with your heart. I should tell you... that if the Pharaoh was here... and saw this... he'd be impressed as well. *Chuckles* I hope that this settles the idea of how much skill we both have.
Jessie: *To Macie* Your pokemon are doing their best because you're the best, Macie. Your Adviser is also pretty good. She's got style. S-T-Y-L-E.
Katie: So... What do we suggest on doing now? First thing first... A feast. Jenny's cooking up a real banquet for everyone.

(What are the odds)
Well, her boss was happy. When you look at it, that's a good first day of work. It was a bit bittersweet, but seeing Macie so happy with her newly evolved Pokemon brought a smirk to Green's face.
"Thanks. Truth be told, Solus fights better in double battles with Luna. They don't like to be seperated. Thank you, though, and to your friends as well. I bet in time that we'll get to meet the rest of our teams. But now I feel for how you are as a battler."
Green removed a Pokeball and caressed it in her hand. Mel was inside, and she missed her Dragonair's confort.
Green offered a smile. "A feast sounds lovely. Where would it be held?"
While the battle between Macie and Green was wrapping up Issac was walking out of the gym, having challenged it while all the events swilling around the beginning idol where taking place. “That was easy, mainly due to us have three team members that could take care of rock and ground types easily.” Issac rejoiced as a girl with dark purple hair he had never seen before walked in front of him. “Uh, who are you?” He asked as the strange girl took a breath and pointed at the sky. “That’s not important right now, I’m just here to ask you to look up.” She stated without any emotion in her voice as Issac looked up to see a giant ball of fire headed straight for him at intense speeds. “Oh just my day!” He exclaimed as he tried getting out of the way but was swallowed up by a pillar of fire as Shade’s pokeball was knocked away from him and was left lying on the ground. The unusual girl having vanished into thin air.

Green listened to Macie intently as she talked of itinerary and music.
"Certainly, but I'd need to know more to make plans, namely these interactions with Team Magma. I can work between tour schedules and gym challenges in my sleep, but I need to know more about what's goiing on with Magma."
So far Macie had been cagey about the terrorist group, but damned if Green was about to go on an adventure without knowing if she would be assaulted and kidnapped at any moment. She'd have to sleep with her Pokemon at night if she wanted to be safe, at any rate.
"So are we eating ouy here in the courtyard, or in the hotel?" Green inquired on the topic of food.
Team Spectrum? She hadn't heard od them before. Again, yet another thing to add to her own homework.
"And what are Team Spectrum's goals?" Green blurted out.
She could tell that Macie was not interested in talking about these gangs, but a criminal connectionw would tend to pique most people's interests.
"The gym challenge should br interesting," Green reaponded. "Let's eat then."
Green went to sit at the bench. She was alreqdy plottinf on how to thwart the gym leader. Although the gym challenge tended to be difficult, her years of achooling had equipped her to take down a gym leader in a way that few others knew.
She almost felt bad for gym leaders. They have to keep up a reputation by defeating trainers but were perpetually at a disadvantage; everyone knew about their Pokemon teams, but they rarely had any foresight into their opponents.
Macie had an advantage with her water types. And Green knew that ahe had an edge as well; Athena may be able to sweep his whole team, if not Levi and Mel. Few had the advantages of a mighy dragon on their side. Still, there was one more piece needed to ensure total victory: Gyaradosite.
She was smug in already defeating the gym leader in her own mind, but she wasn't being paid to win; she was beinf paid for Macie to win. Macie seemed pretty stubborn in her choice of team. Green would have no choice but to rely on real-time tactics.
"Thank you," she said as Macie cleared her a seat. "As your advisor I suggest that you comparmentalize: juat take it one thing at a time. The gym and concert will be there. You have a team of people to help you take each thing with stride. So right now your job is to eat and have fun.
