The Torn Banner

Let's just hope you don't lose it. HEH HEH HEH
So what would be the range of population we should all have? What is Holman like geophraphically/do we determine that ourselves? What is the background of the land of Holman itself? Would Holman be considered a continent or an island? Are there other continents/islands off the map, and, if so, will they ever play a role in the RP?

Question overload, shutting dowm.
But now I'm curious, as my people kinda need pastures and flat lands to thrive (I think).

The maximum that will be permitted will be a total of 1 million per realm. To allow for diversity and creativity, participators will get to choose the geography - within reason (in lore, it would be magical influences that affected the land). Holman - in the shortest of explanations - is a land that has been severely affected by magic, industry, immigration and conflict. Most people tend to be isolationists, reserving themselves in their own realms. Holman is an island nation. Holman is part of the continent of Arumal (though not connected to the continent's mainland), and there may potentially be an event where foreign invaders will be introduced.

No one expects the Spanish Inquisition.

1 million, wow, so will we get to decide what kind of people we are (like, for example, if we were a republic, or a nomadic people, or a Rouge nation, ect.)

In this universe, the term magic is given to an area of science that is not completely understood. The power of magic varies upon the wielder. Rather than just learning from a text book, a person is instead born with magical capabilities.

Also, imagine Vagu and Pulchri as the Dwarves and Elves of this universe.

Can these magical abilities be cultivated from birth and even be bred? Are they more pronounced in the Vagu or Pulchri in comparison to humans? Can magical properties be given to objects?

Can I have somewhere here, or wherever closest to it?

The educational fields of magic are referred to as the Arcane Arts, and a multitude of universities dedicate time to furthering the knowledge of magic. It is mostly rare in Humans and Vagu, but quite common within the Pulchri populace. Only a wielder of magic can bestow magical properties upon objects, if requirements are met.

So can these species interbreed? Are there other species/subspecies or are you waiting or us to determine that?

Pat Pat

These species can interbreed, although the Pulchri are known to campaign against it. I thought it would have been best to let all you lot determine your own unique species - within reason, of course.
