It would be unless you were born within something different. Or if you were kinda split from the rest in a form where seeing something else removed made your kind unacceptable.

Meh whatever would a drone become a queen if they had no hive

They could.... though I don't know why a guy would want to become a queen due to the fact his survivability rate would plummet.

Because normal drones don't have s gender they can molt into queens if they don't have one around

I know. Though he probably won't since he's more along a feral area rather than colonized... for the moment that is.

If it is colonized there would be no room if it is feral his instincts should tell him to molt

It's a different breed. I understand where you're coming from with the whole molting thing but he kinda stays between the Queen mother and Winged mother's hives.

so your saying a normal egg from a normal hive has produced a completely abnormal drone because why not?

Yeah, yeah. It's a solitary bird though so maybe it's nature carried over until the xeno gets in contact with others... *Shrugs*'


I plan to have it join a hive after a bit though it seems as though the Queen Mother finds mutations to be mistakes. The king is a bit hostile, and I didn't want to just join my own.

they are a race that relies on mutations the mistake is that the winged queen was apparently never planned and did not take her proper role in the hive
