Realistic or Modern The Thieving Raven (Closed)

Night stood, ready to pounce, and let out a deafening roar at the girls tone and glare . Leon stared the girl in her eyes and put a hand on Nights head to keep him from pouncing. " Watch yourself," Leon said cheerfully but with dead cold eyes " My partner and I don't like your volume, tone, or the fact you are trespassing. Now why are you here, I hope you have a good reason for me not to let him go."

Leon never took his eyes off the girl, he was as ready to react as Night. To get this far either his guard was lax or she was good, both were cause for alarm at the moment. " I am guessing you already patted her down and checked her stuff Rain," Leon said flatly "You would not have been so careless as to not have done that before letting her up, right?" Leon could feel the tension in Night's body as he stood ready. Leon had Night trained in how to deal with armed intruders, since he protected the house when he left on missions. His training had prepared him to react at the very action of pulling a weapon so if this girl reached for one, it would be the last thing she did. Leon hoped it would not come to that.

Val huffed. "No she wouldn't and she did." She confirmed, ready to take both of them on if she needed to. Heck, maybe her years of self defense and cop training against her will would pay off. "As for why I am here, I was in my art class and some bimbo next to me dumped his coffee all over my artwork project that is due tomorrow! I needed inspiration and I find high places are the best to do it. You're house was the tallest thing close to my house so I went here." She explained. "I have no weapon nor do I wish to rob you so if you would just let this little Heats go, we can all be on our merry way and forget this ever happened."

Back in the Situation Room, Bittlesworth was smiling. His fingers quickly riffed through the various blueprints and plans. His eyes admired the masterpiece in front of him. The plan was good, but missing minor details. Bittlesworth would deal with that. As always. But it would be a damn good start. He began to jot down immediate solutions to the most concerning details left out. Little things like funding, equipment, and contingency plans. Minor details.

Out of the corner of his eye he noticed a small, silent red light blinking on the control panel of the main console. An intruder had made it past the fence. Bittlesworth wasn't worried. Frat house pledges jumped the fence all of the time in the hopes of impression the upperclassmen, and were always caught within seconds. They never made it to the house.

No. The grounds light was blue. The red light symbolized.....

They had made it to the house.

Bittlesworth rushed to the console, flipping multiple switches and typing with the speed of a supercomputer. All around the house, metal barriers slammed into floors and walls, putting the entire place on lock-down. On the screen, a map of the property sprang to life with little dots that indicated the positions of important members of the household. Namely Leon, Rainy, and himself. In an emergency like this, Leon's safety was his top priority.

And Leon and Rainy were on top of the roof.

Joy.

Bittlesworth reached into a nearby drawer, and pulled out the only guarantee of getting Leon back in. A bullet-proof vest, and a Winchester 30.6.

Then for the roof he made.

"Alright then I will take your word," Leon said with a smile " On to other matters, you trespass for stupid reasons and they will get you in trouble like they have now. You have three options waiting for you the first is I let the cops get called, then lawyers get involved, and my better lawyers take most of your money and leave you in jail. The second is you do something stupid like run or attack which will end with you fighting a tiger that is trained to kill trained soldiers and, Night killing you."" The last might be my favorite option," Leon said as he jumped down to the level Valorie was at. He walked up to her and looked her over and ended with him running his hand through her hair and looking deeply into her eyes.

"Perfect, you will work just fine ," Leon said " The last option is you give me your body for the night. The other girl I had invited doesn't seem to be able to make it and I have already gotten myself worked up for the night. So what's your choice, will you keep me entertained tonight.

Valorie blushed an intense color of red. "I am not sure I want to, but if you call the cops, I swear to got my dad will come find me and kill me for being out here, and breaking state law. As for the fighting, I am not sure I want to fight such a majestic beast. As for the entertaining, my father, the police chief, has a curfew at 12 and I will have to be back or he will kill me and ground me for weeks." She said, quite flustered.

Rainy sighed as she heard the security go off. "Bittlesworth is overreacting, really." She shook her head at Leon. "You're such a flirt, Leon. You make it sound as if you mean to make a bad parody of 'Pretty Woman'." She giggled to herself. Rainy lightly rubbed her fingers together, calling Night over so she could pet behind his ears. The big cat purred, rubbing his big head against my stomach. I smiled, looking up to Leon and nodding. "Mind if I take this one to go tell that crazy old man that it's just a harmless little daddy's girl?" I kissed nights head, scratching under his chin. "And maybe raid the kitchen for some tuna, huh?" I giggle as Night falls to the ground rolling over to expose his soft tummy that I proceed to scratch.

Then it hit her...'Police Chief?'

Val shifted her eyes to the girl and then back to Leon. She took a step back from Leon and looked at him cautiously. "May I ask who you are." she said coldly, looking at him. "I would really like to know who I am fighting or entertaining or killing for tipping my dad about sneaking out of the house." She said coldly.

Leon felt her temperature rise through his hand. He had chose the worst wording that he could think of just to get this reaction out of her. "Yea this is what I want to paint today," Leon thought to himself. As she rattled off about how she didn't know what to do Leon just kept looking into her eyes with a smile. He had found something that interested him and he was not going to let it go. As Leon held her Night had made his way closer to the two of them still suspicious of Valorie. "You have already broken one law today," Leon whispered in her ear " What's one more, you know you want to." As Leon pulled away from the girl he added " and if it puts your mind at ease I will deal with your dad tomorrow. How does that sound, I rarely desire anything as much as you tonight, you are truly special."

Leon could have actually told her why he wanted her to stay but he was having too much fun with it. His over the top joy was hidden behind a lustful mask that he had learned to create from years of training so none of his feelings showed. Rainy called Night over and started to pet him. Leon glared and motioned for Night to return with his eyes which he quickly did. "Night is not a cat," Leon stated coldly " Don't break his training by calling him while he is at alert. You are lacking in conflict analysis, I will have Bittlesworth put you through extra lessons in your free time to fix that. Also, yes go stop Bittlesworth before he shows up with his vest and a rocket launcher. We will have a talk later."

After scolding Rainy he turned back to Valorie. "I'm sorry you had to see such an uncivilized display, but I must make sure everything stays inline I can't let anymore mistakes happen," Leon said remembering Amber. " You don't know who I am, that's weird I'm famous," Leon questioned" Well whatever, I am Leonard Maxwell although most people call me Leon."

Val felt her throat tighten as he leaned in close, her face heating even more at the extreme closeness. She blushed. "If all you want is to paint me, I assume that it's fine." She managed to stay. When she got home, she was probably going to get yelled at. She shivered, looking at him for a second with narrowed eyes. She was not sure weather to trust him.

And when he said his name, she was starting to get seriously frightened. "You mean the guy my dad has been tracing for years lives a few blocks away!" She exclaimed. "I am sooo dead." She muttered. "My dad is going to kill me." She said, her voice steadily growing higher as her muscles began to quake.

"Good," Leon said happily as he turned away and started walking back to his roof. " I need to put some clothes on so I will meet you inside ask Bittlesworth if you need anything," Leon said as he scaled the wall " Also I never said I was going to paint you, just that I wanted you body." With that Leon made his way to his room. Night had not eased up even after he jumped back onto the roof. He just crouched at the edge of the roof and hid himself in the darkness and glared at Valorie waiting for her to go inside or run.

As soon as Leon made his way to his room he said "At ease," at a barely audible volume. Moments after Night returned to room and laid down by Leon. Leon opened one of the stair step rocks and reviled a store of clothes. He decided to wear his baggy martial arts pants and just stay shirtless since it was a nice night. After he got dressed he kneed down in front of Night. "You know better than to break alert," Leon stated " Even if a friend calls you. We must make sure that we are ready for anything, do you understand." Night nodded and after Leon wrapped him in a hug and petted him " That's my brother," Leon said grinning " Now lets go grab some food, it's been a long day."

Rainy scoffed. "He still needs love and tuna," She said, then continued to glare down this cop's daughter. "I don't like this," she whispered to herself. As soon as they where out of sight, Rainy flipped back down through her window, closing it as she stood in her room. She sprinted to the situation room, sliding down the railing of the stairs gracefully. As she arrived at the room, she almost ran straight into Bittlesworth.

"Oh! Sorry, Bittlesworth, didn't mean to run into you like that, but we have a serious issue that I'm sure you're slightly aware of, but it seems that this intruder ism ore then just some kid trespassing on the property." Rainy sighed, looking worriedly up at the old butler. "This chick is a police chief's daughter, and she's alone with Leon and Night in his room right now. I don't trust this, Bittlesworth. I'm getting that bad feeling in my stomach again...." The last time she had had this feeling was their last big job, and that ended horribly. This time it was worse, and she couldn't explain it. "I literally hurt, Bittles, and it got worse as soon as I saw her. We can't let her compromise us"

Val placed her head in her hands, groaning loudly. He soon disappeared up the wall, telling her a few more things that made her face burn brighter, almost as bright as a star. She groaned again, raising her head. The girl (Probably his side kick) glared at her for a while before leaving. That just left the tiger. She watched it for a while, it's eyes cold and not as they where when he was being pet. She smiled and jotted down a very rough and quick sketch of the beast before it left the roof. She smiled, finally having her inspiration. She could leave, but she really did not want this guy on her trail. She sighed, groaning allowed. "What did I get into?" She asked herself.

Reluctantly, she scaled down the roof and found an open window. She sighed and landed swiftly, standing up strait and dusting off her clothes. Sighing, she looked around. "Now where the heck am I supposed to go" She said, looking around.

Bittlesworth stumbled back as something collided with him. He only barely caught Rainy's apology as he considered the wording for an inevitable scolding. He swore he had to do this almost daily. Something would have to be done about this girl.

Still she had a solid point. He too had a bad feeling about this whole fiasco. Flipping a switch in his shoe, the security began to retract itself. "I agree." He said as he turned smartly on his heel. Without waiting for Rain, he trekked back to the Situation room to deposit his firearm. Once it was back in its case, he changed suits. Something formal, with a bowtie. He reorganized the plans back into something resembling a pile before turning once again to the halls.

Soon enough he turned a corner to find himself face to face with the new development. This daughter of his master's greatest enemy didn't seem much more than a teenager. And a nervous one at that. Bittlesworth would not be fooled. While many considered his "itchy security finger" to come from a tendency to overreact, it in fact came from solemn duty. he coughed into his glove to clear his throat.

"You must be the roof girl." He quickly looked her up and down. No, this won't do, he thought with a tut.

"You have been invited to dinner. Follow me, and a maid will provide you with more... appropriate dress."

He didn't even bother to see if she was following him.

Val was lost in her own thoughts of how to find her way when a cough pulled her out of her daze. She blinked a few times, her gaze coming in contact with a man in a suit. "Ah, uhh...." She said, but before she could say a word, her voice was silenced by his. He promptly looked her up and down, causing a red blush to creep onto her face. Soon he said something, frankly quite insulting. Was her style really that bad? She looked at her clothes then raised an eyebrow at him. Apparently, jeans and a t-shirt don't fly in this house. She sighed and followed reluctantly, wondering how much trouble she would be in by the end of the night.

Leon strolled through the house half naked with Night right behind. He was singing "Staying Alive" as he made his way to the kitchen which drew the attention of the workers. After their time with Leon they had learned to expect this kind of thing and some of them even started singing along to themselves. "So you ready for dinner," Leon said to Night as they walked out the back door on the first floor. As they exited they were greeted by the sight of a large airstrip with held three f-16 Nighthawks and one SR-71 Blackbird. "Guess who is going to get some use this weekend," Leon said as he walked past the planes towards a large fenced in field "We are going to Italy."

Inside the fenced area was a large field with cows, deer, lambs, and other animals. Leon looked out to see if he could find something that might be good to eat today. As he searched Night had already taken off into the field and disappeared into the tall grasses. After a few minutes, the sounds of running animals were replaced with the cry of a dying animal. Moments after that, Night returned with a deer between his teeth. "A deer this time, nice," Leon said with a grin " You could have waited for me though." Night released the deer and Leon picked it up and tossed it over his shoulders. The deer weighed around two hundred pounds so carrying it was not that bad, the only problem was the blood that was running down his skin and soaking his pants. "We might have wanted to take a bath after this," Leon stated " Whatever, we can clean off in the sink or something."

By the time Leon and Night made it back into the house the deer had basically bled dry, all over Leon. He got some disturbed looks from the people around him. As he made his way to the kitchen he saw Bittlesworth walking with Valorie. "Hey Bittles, nice suit," Leon said " Also we are having deer today, if you didn't guess already, I will have it done soon." After that Leon walked with the deer towards the kitchen blood dripping as he walked. When he made it to the kitchen Leon hung up the deer and let it bleed out what little was left inside. While that happened Leon walked over to a large sink that was used for cleaning dishes. He ran some water, put some soap in, took off his bloody pants and underwear and threw them in the water. "Alright while we wait lets get clean again," Leon declared as he grabbed the spray hose that was attached to the sink. As he sprayed himself and Night with the high pressure water some of the kitchen staff walked in and stared at him with open mouths. "What are you waiting for start the prep work on the deer while I clean, we will be making grilled and sauteed Venison with a sherry mushroom sauce," Leon stated " Also you at the end, can you grab me towel or apron while I wait for my clothes to dry, or give me your underwear either works."

Valorie looked at the man, who walked in with his luxurious tiger and his... bloody pants. She stared at him up and down, a quizzical look appearing on her face. "What is it with him and being half naked?" She muttered to herself, looking at the ground, her face spreading into a wide blush. She mumbled something, glad him and his tiger went on his way soon. She sighed, rolling her head into her hands. 'I am so dead when this is over." She said, looking at her pair of convers.

"I doubt it."

Bittlesworth continued to lead the girl farther into the mansion, taking special care to avoid anything that might have eluded to the Raven. He still wasn't entirely sure if he was comfortable with the business of thievery, but he was nothing if not loyal. The Maxwells had given him everything. That meant loyalty.

Soon enough, he stopped in front of a rather plain room. He summoned one of the too many maids, and gave her his instructions. He turned on his heel, leaving their guest to be manhandled into proper dinner attire. He took a mental note to force Leon into something appropriate as well. Something with a bow tie and tailcoat, he thought.

One could never be to careful when treating with the enemy.

Val looked around, seeing a girl in a maid outfit appear. She felt a bead of sweat run down her face. "Just how rich is he?" She mumbled, looking at the petite girl. She would never be ok being someone like that, making her momentarily glad that she was in the middle class. But soon enough she was wrangled into a long gown that was deemed fit to meet someone that she had already seen in only a towel.

When the maid had finished with her work, she was unveiled to a large mirror, leaving Val quite stunned at her appearance. She normally avoided clothing like this, considering that it was constricting, but it seemed she had no choice. That butler of his would not have it any other way, and she dared not pick a fight with him. Sighing, she headed to the door, walking towards the dining room that the maid was leading her too.

Leon had cleaned himself and Night up and began to get to work. He carefully sliced the meat and prepared the sauces. After he got everything started one of his workers came in with a pair of underwear for him. He put them one with a swift motion and kept moving as if he had been wearing them the entire time. "What will we do for dessert,"Leon said as he stared into the fridge " Lets go with balaclava with turtle ice cream." He moved around the kitchen with deft hands, he fellow chiefs doing the same.

After about twenty minutes everything was basically done it only needed time. " I must take these clothes to dry outside and put some clothes on before Bittlesworth complains again," Leon said as he walked out of the kitchen " Thanks for you hard work." He made his way to his room and before walking in he left his wet clothes to dry on a line in the rose garden. As he made his way into his room he jumped up the rocks to his bed. "Night pick out something for me to wear," Leon said as he laid his head into his pillow "I think I got about ten minutes of shut eye before either Bittles barges in my room or Night gets me for dinner, not a second to waste." With that he clapped his hand to change his music to sound of the rain forest and went to sleep. After Night pulled out jeans and a suit jacket for Leon to wear he took up a position on the first rock and watched for any danger while Leon slept.

Though habit would have him kicking in Leon's door and forcing him into something more than just jeans and a jacket, once at gun point, Bittlesworth instead made the odd choice of making for Rainy's room first. As he walked, he tried to shake the feeling of impending doom that seemed to hang in the air above him. Not being successful, he pushed to the back of his mind.

A simple three knocks upon her door. "Miss Rain. Leon would like for you to join him and his guest for dinner. Please put on something appropriate and make for the dining hall. Venison seems to be on the menu tonight."

He didn't wait for an answer. Turning on his heel, he made the climb to Leon's room. This time he didn't even bother knocking. The door flung wide as he approached. Night gave a short growl as he stepped across the threshold. Bittlesworth returned it.

"Master Leon."

Leon woke up at the sound of his name being called. The first thing he did was look at his watch, it had been ten minutes, if Bittlesworth was anything it was punctual. "Yea I know, also stop growing at Night," Leon said with a yawn " You told rain to join us correct, I would like us to dine as a family for once." Leon walked over to the clothes Night had picked out for him. Leon gave a disapproving look to Night when he saw what he had picked. "Really a suit jacket Night, your as bad as Bittlesworth." Leon said as he put on the clothes" Your suppose to be on my side." Night ignored him and started scratch his claws against a tree at the front of his room.

"Well Bittles," Leon said as he finished buttoning his button down undershirt. "Lets go eat me and Night worked really hard on this," Leon said as he walked closer to Bittlesworth and out of the room down to the dinning hall Night close behind "So how did you like the picture in the room, I hope it was to your liking." He knew that someone had been in the situation room when he passed. If it was Bittlesworth he would have seen his newest painting and in turn his newest plan. Bittlesworth would always have something to say about it and would put the finishing touches on his rough draft. "So what do you think of it as a whole," Leon said eluding to the plan while still making it sound like he was talking about the painting, in case someone listened in as they walked " Also you can still play the saxophone correct, I will need a tango piece for my work after dinner."
