Shial was sound asleep in her bed.  She had a tendency to sleep in, really.  Stay up for the majority of the night, and then wake up late in the morning.  Fortunately, she permits herself to do this on days where the schedule lets her.  Unfortunately, she picked the wrong day to do this.

(From Ryan's PoV, for everyone to know)


I was also asleep, but woke up after like 2 minutes and dashed off to Shial's room to tell her to wake up, after entering her room I simply stared at her sleeping behind a trashcan, thinking Jumpscaring her would be a much more satisfying alternative to just waking her up.

Shial slowly woke up, groaning and stretching with her arms.  She looked over at saw...something.  She jumped back a little, though not with a spectacular reaction, and realized it was just Ryan.


"Oh hi," Shial greeted, her voice quiet due to just recently waking up.

"Hi." I simply greeted back, kind of disappointed that I was noticed so easily "Ssso, that graduation ceremony is happening ssoon, we have like, 3 minutess to get there on time." I pointed out "Ssso, Let's go!" I said running out and grabbing Shial by the arm before she really could react to what was going on

Shial was caught by surprise when Ryan grabbed her feathered arm.  She instinctively reached to grab something while she was being tugged along, which turned out to be her damaged broadsword.  Which is of little matter, the dark-colored Avian can grab her other weapon later.

I stopped sprinting at the entrance of the Ceremony "Birdladiesss first." I said smiling slightly, Instead of a broken broadsword I had a small dagger, as Florans preferred stabbing to alternate types of combat.

"Thank you," she said politely, entering the area.  It completely slipped Shial's mind that today was the Ceremony, and was rather grateful Ryan woke her up before she was late.

I simply stepped in afterwards, and was behind the curtains while the ceremony was going on

Shial simply followed Ryan.  She normally sticks with other people, more specifically her friends, or she wouldn't know what to do with herself.

After a little bit of the celebration, a small shudder happened, before a full-on earthquake emerged moments later with tentacles emerging out of the ground and walls and other stuff, The old lady there threw some matter manipulators at Me and Shail and told us to go to the escape pods, I simply nodded and ran off dragging Shial behind me again
