The Smiling Bowl (OOC Talk) [Chrysanthemum Petals in Rain]

Nope.

Welcome to crappy town. Population: Yoritomo.
It's hardly crappy. You gain a bonus when people try to flank you (so any generic bandits really, plus tactical bushi). Keep in mind that Yoritomo 1 already negated any bonuses they would have gotten, so this is just gravy on top of that. And considering that these are supposed to be elite sailors...well, getting a bonus each round to any skill roll on a boat, which will almost certainly be at least +6 (Water 3)...that's another raise on an attack or a good shot at saving your boat from running aground in a storm.

So yeah, an Elite team of these guys swinging onto your kobune along with a few Moshi will make life rough for just about anyone else.

Not disputing that it's good when you're on a boat.

Though in a campaign where it's likely we'll be spending most of our time on land, I think it's a bit underwhelming.

So, I'm picking up calligraphy (cipher) in between mods. I'm not sure when this happens, but I can make behind the scenes rolls for it if that works best for GMs (if I succeed I imagine it will easier to post wall o' text on the forums?).

Also also, not sure how it actually works, but I'm sure if/when it comes to rolling stuff someone will point it out.

At this point I'll let you use it to recognize the cipher on his notes in his bag. and you can use it between the mods if you want to start deciphering things.

Maybe Shiori's assuming that's the reason your marriage to Agasha Mai fell through. :)
Amusingly, Brokeback Mountain in Rokugan isn't really a problem.

Homosexuality: Not a problem

Violence: Also not an issue

The two men marry and produce children as expected: not a problem

Ends in somewhat of a tragedy: Also not a problem.

Well, it's still shameful if it gets publicly exposed. But as long as nobody finds out, you're safe. (kinda)

Question. I've been really bad about keeping track of xp and all. I have the online character sheet and i also have one written out and after being out of the game for so long I got all mixed up. So, am I correct in my count of there having been 10 mods (2 of which I missed while i was gone) for a total of 60 xp? I want to make sure I have the correct amount showing on my hand written sheet, since i haven't been keeping up with this one very well.

There were 10 mods prior to last week's, so we've done 11 now. Don't forget to count the 1 extra xp for any mod summaries you wrote.

That's mostly true. It also depends on relative status and if anyone cares enough to use it. Random Bayushi Courtier accuses two War Hero Champions of homosexual acts after the war? That would be a bad idea any day of the week.

Jizo save you if it was a Matsu and an Utaku as the subjects.
