The Skyrim RP

UmbreonRogue

Just your average fangirl.
(OOC: I should straight up say to future watchers to this thread that this RP is for my friend BlueLink9001 and I. We'll be doing OOC chat with each other on Steam. For reference in regards to our characters, here's the Piratepad document: PiratePad: ro.TWkF$98eJ3z / Latest text of pad Q5u9tmdaol)

A dark feline figure dashed through a occupied cave, armor making loud clanking noises from the movements. She narrowly evaded a boulder trap set up for intruders like herself.

"Huh? Who's there?" The female Khajiit heard a male voice, presumably Argonian from the slight emphasis on the 's'.

Sneak up on the bandit? No, that's a foolish way to go about, considering her gear and terrible ability at stealth. Instead, she charged straight at him (which she now confirmed was Argonian upon seeing the person), and sliced at him with her greatsword. The frost damage slowed the adversary's movement, giving the female warrior the opportunity to kill the bandit while escaping with only a scar from the thief's dagger. No matter, her wound will heal in due time, but the fallen man won't be able to recover from death.

Sheathing her sword, she examined the immediate area. A chest was nearby, containing about a hundred septims and a few Potions of Minor Healing. She took them all, as the healing potions are good for healing wounds more quickly and therefore last longer in battle, and the money for obvious reasons. On a table were a few pieces of nightshade, a bowl of moon sugar, and skooma. The nightshade and moon sugar were taken as well for the sake of alchemy, but the skooma the khajiit threw on the ground in disgust, shattering the bottle holding the illegal contents. She moved onwards, ready to face more criminals.

Franz, meanwhile, was in a fight nearby the bandit Camp with some Dawnguard members, they were shouting saying something about "Vampire menace" and "Betraying the cause", he simply sighed and turned into a Vampire Lord. The new form made the members stand back in fear for a few seconds, implying they were new to the group. he simply charged up Vampiric Drain and fired at them, They were at low heath and tried crawling away. He turned back into his previous form and walked away as an act of mercy, something he didn't do often.

The khajiit pressed on, eventually coming upon a locked room. Might as well see what's in here.

She squatted down and inserted the lockpick into the lock. It wasn't something she does something, but at least it's useful for something other than breaking into homes. Though raiding this bandit-occupied cave may qualify as such, but fortunately the criminals probably have too high of a bounty in the holds that they'll get impaled by a sword before they could report such behavior to the guards.

Unlocking the door revealed a small room, probably for storage. The shelves were stocked with armor and sacks that were likely containing food. Right next to the door was a cupboard holding several tankards and plates, and by it a few septims were scattered around, which she promptly picked up. Against the wall opposite of the door was a locked chest, which the female attempted to lockpick. This proved more difficult to open, resulting in a few broken lockpicks, but it paid off as she found a few Potions of Plentiful Healing and several good pieces of armor that will sell well. She ignored the contents on the shelves. The food would be light enough carry but don't sell for much, and the armor would bring in good profit but it will wear her down. She'll simply return to it later.

Franz entered the Bandit camp, and looked around "Seems like I missed out on a good business opportunity" he mumbled before exploring to see if there was anything still worth any value in the area, he didn't seem to notice the other Khajiit in the camp at all, and changed form to use one of his abilities that allows him to sense all life nearby.

Meanwhile, the other Khajiit exited the room and headed deeper into the cave, gathering a few mushrooms along the way. A Dunmer and a Redguard were alerted immediately, the latter rushing towards the vigilante while the former stayed back, firing arrows from his bow. The Dunmer was a horrible archer, as he repeatedly missed. This left just her and the Redguard, swords clashing against one another. It took a bit of time, but one power attack was enough to leave the Redguard staggering.

She stepped towards the Dunmer, who, having run out of arrows, drew out his dagger. This didn't phase her one bit.

"Fus..."

It was at that moment the Dunmer knew. He should've fled instead.

"ROH DAH!"

Those three words threw the elf against the wall, and the khajiit cut him down before he could get up. As this was a tunnel, there was nothing of importance here, so she simply moved onwards.

Franz soon showed up still in his Vampiric form, He just stared at the Dark Elf and figured it had nothing good on it anyways, and just stared at the Khajiit "Good to see another Khajiit every once in awhile" he said simply reverting form back into his Khajiit form, he was going to let the Vampiric form rest for a bit and simply smiled "I'm Franz." He said simply

The khajiit jumped back and blinked upon seeing the other. Did she just hallucinate a winged abomination of a creature? She hates it when that happens.

"Sorry about that, you kind of took me by surprise. It isn't your fault though."

She sheathed her greatsword. "Anyways, I'm Morrin. What brings you down here? It's pretty dangerous in this cave. Not saying you couldn't fend for yourself, of course, I'm just asking."

Franz simply looked around "I'm searching for things to make some quick coin, and I figured looting a bandit camp would be the best way to do it. I'm also kind of hiding from some Dawnguard members because they kinda want me dead for being a Vampire Lord." Franz stated simply "Of course I could just kill them as a Vampire Lord, but that's just unprofessional."

So that wasn't a hallucination after all....

"Well, this cave is just about empty, but I think there are a few rooms ahead, and I left some stuff behind."

Morrin pointed a finger in the direction of the broken-into room.

"And I'll let you get the rest of the stuff as long as I get to take care of the rest of the bandits."

As she said all of this, there was something nagging at the back of her mind. Like a sense of deja vu. Of course, she could've just met Franz in passing in one of the cities, but how often do you meet another khajiit outside of the caravans?

"Let me deal with the bandits." Franz said simply entering unarmed, a Bandit pointed this out and laughed before getting suplexed into another bandit, they weren't laughing anymore and stood up, one was an orc, the others were a Wood Elf and a High Elf, the bandits started attacking Franz and Franz simply beat them down one by one, he was pretty low on health near the end of it and drank two potions of plentiful healing before looting the bodies "Done and done." He said smiling

Morrin just kind of stood there, stunned.

"Did you somehow craft steel into your claws?" She asked, examining the carnage.

"Nope, but these gloves add some punch along with the claws." Franz said smiling "Besides, we're Khajiit, we've always been good at hand-to-hand." he added "By the way, have we met before?" Franz asked suddenly "I feel we may have met before..." He stated

"Yeah, I've been getting that kind of deja vu feeling as well."

She tried to recollect memories of meeting the male khajiit. A fleeting glimpse? Maybe. She has never been good at remembering minor details.

"Have we ever met?"

Franz shrugged "Hell if I know, Oh by the way, you'll never see me at Markarth, like, ever. They kinda really hate me after escaping their prison for some Forswarn conspiracy when they literally just have the Forswarn there with free right to do whatever they want as the guards will just shrug it off unless you try figuring anything out" Franz stated "Seriously Markarth is one of the least well-run Cities in Skyrim, and I'm comparing it to Riften, a place full of thieves."

"Guess I'm not the only one here who dislikes Markarth. The place gives off some bad vibes, so I'm not surprised to hear that the Forswarn operate it."

She looked around. "We could keep talking, but I don't think a cave is the place to do it. Would you like to come to my home in Whiterun to discuss things over some mead?"

"Alright" Franz said smiling "I'm glad to finally meet another Khajiit around here, the only ones I've found have been either Assassins of the Dark Brotherhood with a contract to kill me or the Caravans near Whiterun." He stated "Seriously I have like five contracts in my pocket right now."

"Alright, we should be close to Whi-" Morrin stopped after somewhat registering what she just heard. "Wait, what did you just say?"

"I said I have 5 contracts for my death from some Assassins in the Dark Brotherhood, They're not contracts for other people." Franz stated "I mean, really, do I look like the assassin type to you?" He said smiling

"I suppose not." She glanced around the room and saw an entrance out. "There's a way out. Go ahead and grab as much as you can. Though I guess you can afford to be weighed down a bit since I'm fairly certain Whiterun is close by."

"Anyways, you said you were a vampire lord? How does that exactly work?"

"Same way as being a Werewolf works I guess, only instead of Silver we're weakened by daylight." Franz stated looting whatever "Oh also we can reanimate the dead and some of the more High ranking Vampire Lords can even summon Gargoyles." Franz stated smiling

"I imagine those abilities are handy in a pinch."

She began to walk around. "I'm gonna check the area out, so just shout out at me whenever you're ready."

"Yup, we also have Supernatural Reflexes which slows down time around us and makes us move faster" Franz said smiling "And alright, I'll be at the exit if you need me." He stated walking towards the exit of the cave

There was nothing of interest in the rooms where the bandits were eliminated by Franz. There were some mushrooms, including some she never saw before. She pocketed them to examine the effects of the unknown mushrooms in alchemy later.

Looking through a shelf in the last room revealed a few books. Morrin thumbed through them before putting them back. Nothing of interest with those, just some history of the empire. There was, however, a jade circlet with an emerald embedded in it. She decided to carry it with her in case Franz would want it.

She headed back to the exit. "Okay, I am ready to leave," Morrin said to the vampire khajiit.

"Alright, lets go then." Franz stated walking out the door, the Dawnguard from earlier came back with some reinforcements "Oh not you clowns again..." Franz muttered getting ready to fight them

"What!?" Morrin unsheathed her greatsword, preparing for combat. "Who are they?"

The adversaries wore armor and carried weapons, and their eyes seemed to be a orange-ish color. They appeared to be hostile as well.
