Atlas looked up at the girl with his ice like eyes, the normal deadpan stare inspecting the piece before taking it into his grasp feeling it's surface.


"Maybe.." He then pushed it back into her hands,


"Play with it, swing it around. Perhaps it'll activate when in motion." The teen suggested in his quiet tone.

Ruby clicked the odd device into place.


Perhaps clicked is to elegant a term, Ruby wrestled with the thing, Hitting it, getting angrier abd angrier until Atlas calmly reached over, turned it around and slid it into place.


"Oh."


Blushing Ruby gave her weapon a few slow swings with momentously boring results. Slowly she increased the power and speed of her swings until she heard a click and felt a soft thud.
