The Simulation [Inactive]

Atlas sighed pushing the left side of his trench coat back to reveal a long line of surgical tools lining his waist. And slipped the scapel into its specific pocket before letting go of his coat and allowing it to sway to a stop.

"We should leave, others may appear...We'll converse about what happened on the road." And with that he began walking East once more.

After the Evil FBI disappeared, Archer turned back to see a hologram on top of Fluffy's head. He quickly carried him and brought him over to Rakia.

"Look!" he said, pointing to the hologram on top of the kitten's head.

Fluffy

Under the care of Archer Shadow and Rakia May

Level 1

20 More EXP before leveling up

Yep. He was right. RPG.

Rakia followed, again keeping distance. She hated being unhappy with somebody, but she hated beingwrong too, and this was punishment. for whom, she didnt really know.

She frowned but pet the cat. "Fluffy.. when we get strong, weare going to beat up big mean Atlas." Okay. She really couldnt stay angry, butshe still wasnt happy.

"They looked likeplayers ive seen before.. But dressed funny and didnt seem all there."

Atlas heard Rakias comment and didn't slow as he talked,

"Go ahead, kill me when you can maybe I'll get out or stay broken in the glitch..." He mumbled, no longer in the mood. He wasn't trying to be mean to her, he didn't know her well enough to say things like that he thought. perhaps he shouldn't speak any longer.

Rakia stopped short. Eyes wide. "It was a joke.. i wouldn't actually.." she turned around and fled the other direction. If she was going to die there, she didnt want to die with a stranger that hates her. She thought the quiet thing was okay, but maybe it meant he barely tolerated her. And what if she does get killed.. would she even return?

Atlas heard her steps disappear into the other direction and cursed under his breath,

"You two, or one I don't care. Go after her, make sure she doesn't do anything stupid..." He mumbled taking a seat beside a tree.

Rakia heard Archer follow and frowned. "Hi. Why did you come? I made Atlas angry and i wish to travel alone... if this glitch does not go away."

Archer stiffened. "I made an oath when I was young." he said. "And plus, you're my friend, and I don't leave my friends."

He made Fluffy nod.

When Archer had left as well and Atlas was sure he was out of the others sight he removed his mask. Taking deep breaths, when Rakia left it became harder to breath. The deep scars which crossed his lips and tore into his skin seemed to sting all over again. Is this why father wouldn't allow me to interact with others, because they in some ways cause you to lose sight of your plans. He thought, the wind blowing against his pink lips.

"An oath..?" Rakia questioned. She took hold of his arm and pulled him to a tree. "Its not worth it.. im not gonna be here much longer anyways. Illcome back, but only because i want to be strong for once.. " she said before sighing and walking back.

That's what I wanted to be when I was young. Strong. thought Archer. "If you want..." he said, "I'll tell you about... my oath."

Archer leaned against the tree and took a deep breath.

FLASHBACK!

"Son, where's your mother?" asked Archer's father. "I dunno dad." he replied.

"Oh. Alright then." the father said, leaving the house for work. Archer heard something at the kitchen and got up from the sofa.

When he entered the kitchen, he saw a stranger holding a knife by his mother's neck. Archer stood there, frozen.

The stranger did the final blow on his Archer's mother and he jumped out of the window.

Archer ran to his mother, crying. "Mom? Mom?"

His mother's hand caressed his cheek. "A-Archer?" she asked. "Yes mom?"

"Promise me something, son..." she said. "Promise you what, mom?" He asked.

"Promise me... You'd protect people... don't fail them... be strong... for me..." she whispered.

"I promise mom..." replied Archer shakily. "Good... That's my boy..." and she let out her final breath.

FLASHBACK END!

"It happened so fast..." he murmured, taking deep breaths.

(Ooh... A part of Archer's past...) (I suck at making touchy scenes :| )

Rakia frowned deeply. "Im sorry.. i cant say i understand.. ive had people by my side my whole life. Had to sit through so many grief filled death predictions ive outlived ive stopped caring. Being strong is all that matters now.. right?" Rakia gives him a sad smile and catches back up to the others. She turned to atlas. "S'rry."

Archer put Fluffy on the top of his head. "Come on, Fluffy, let's follow Rakia." he said.

Archer and Fluffy walked towards the group.

Atlas was startled by the girls approach and clasped a hand over his mouth staring at the floor as he placed the surgical maks strings back around his ears. His heart was beating fast and he took a small breath before looking up at the girl,

"None of it was your fault, so there is no need to apologize. Now, shall we continue on our journey and forget about all of this?" By the end of his statement he was standing and brushing off the front of his coat.

When she realized he wasnt wearing a mask, she closed her eyes and turned away before seeing. "Sure." She said and walked ahead, serious now and deep inthought. she didnt want to get on anyones bad side.. and it seemed a game she got to escape dark problems only brought more.

Atlas smiled when he knew no one was looking, he had found a great batch of people hadn't he.

"Wonderful, now I estimated the amount of travel we have left and the overgrowned paths that we may cross and have concluded that we have about 12 more minutes of walking if it goes without interruption. So let's set forward once more while the suns in the sky." He began walking East, his coat swaying with each step.

(Alright going to bed. Night)

Archer petted Fluffy before catching up with the group. "Hey, wait up!" he called.

He slowed down next to Rakia. "Do you wanna take your turn in holding Fluffy?" he asked her, smiling slightly.

Rakia nodded energetically, taking hold of the soft virtual animal and petting it. She hates to be a downer. She really does. "Im gonna make you a ninja, fluffy." She spoke softly, seeming to purwith the animal, or maybe it just looked that way.

She was actually hungry, and a bit tired. She would never say so as she was still coming to terms with this anomoly herself. Does food here replenish, or is it possible to starve. Same with sleep. What good did it do?

Archer yawned. "I'm going to sleep on a rock if I have to." he said.

"Hey Rakia, do you think Fluffy would be able to throw ninja stars when he becomes a ninja?" he asked her.
