Hey, just checking in and letting y'all know that I should be back Monday afternoon or Tuesday. Starting Wednesday, I'll usually be available afternoons (CST) on MWF and probably evenings on TTH. That largely depends on how much time I spend playing Skyrim how much homework I have and what the rest of my schedule looks like.


When I get back again, I'll do a quick roll-call to see who all is still here, figure out where the characters are and what they're doing, and get a response up for Morgathos. Thank y'all for your patience! I really appreciate it... (:

There seem to be two plot points at the moment - finding the location of a fire rune that will be used in a death plot (Veryon wants a Redguard's fireproof journal, Kumiko and Tschira are supposed to be racing for it) and a potion needs to be stolen from a Windhelm citizen (Veryon wants that and has sent Maroluna to go get it).


Feel free to create your own plot point if you want. Most people are in Candlehearth Hall. Kumiko is running around like a moron outside the gates.

That would be good but I have some questions. I was planning my character to own his own trading caravan, Nothing too much. He is an adventurer but also likes to make a profit. One other thing, What is your rule on daedric artifacts?

And everyone needs an occupation. Caravanning is acceptable of course. As long as your character will take a side in the rebellion, as it is the main plotline. 


And Daedric artifacts are fine (my Kumi has a Ring of Namira) dependant on context. For example - the rule on armour is it has to match how long and how experienced the character is (A character aged 35 will have better gear because they're more experienced than a 20-year-old for the most part). So anything like the Ebony Mail has to match with that rule. What artifact were you thinking about? Knowing specifics might make it easier to sort out.

That's a cool back story.  You could easily use it to your advantage in the RP (especially because there are four Khajiit running around, it's practically a caravan in the gates).


The Black Star is fine to have. Feel free! I enjoy the Daedric aspect of the game too. I look forward to meeting your character.

Annnnd, I'm back! And actually on a computer with Wi-Fi! Granted, classes start in two days, but at least I'm not trying to peck on my phone. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for being patient with me and especially to Nat for filling in while I was gone.


Okay, so figuring out who all is still here...


Beta is still gone for the moment, but I think he will be back soon. Abdel has said she would be leaving the rp. I don't know yet if she plans to return at a later date, so I guess we can just say Ria has left for some emergency or has been arrested or something? That way it shouldn't be too hard to reintroduce her again if she decides to come back.


I notice a few new faces, so hello to everyone!


I've been looking through the posts as I've been able. So most of the characters are hunting people/items for Veyron at the moment, right? And Saor is talking to Ologor, and Dren is somewhere in the city (unspecified at the moment). I'm going to write a post as soon as I finish up here.

We recently accepted two people, but I think at least one RPer prior to that has left so... I'll fill in for @AlbaGuBrath and say go ahead and put up a CS if you'd like, someone will review it in due time. I'd just rather not keep an interested soul waiting for a response, know what I mean?


And besides, what's a rebellion without a big army?

Yeah, this sounds fine to me. If you want to review character sheets, that would be fine, though I can take care of it if you'd prefer not to.

Sounds good to me! That would help a lot since I will be having classes pretty soon, and I think our time zones are different enough to where chances are good that at least one of us is around.

Anyway, I did read your post and I'm working on a response, but I'm going to wait until one more person posts before I do.

I noticed that I was referring to some habits of Saor's that I forgot to include on her sheet, so I added that in at a section on the bottom to explain a bit more about what's going on with her. I didn't include everything, but I tried to hit a couple things that might be confusing and would be lengthy to explain IC.


I also noticed that the image I have there is HUGE (it didn't do that on my phone...) and I don't want it to be. Is there any way for me to make it smaller?

@SSJKirito9000 Hey there! I noticed that you introduced your character in Riften... That's not a bad place to start, but I think all of the other characters are in or around Windhelm, so you may want to figure out a way to get him there so that the other characters can actually interact with him. I'm not entirely certain where everyone is specifically, but I know Saorat and Ologor are at the smithy, and Kumi and Jekkel are in Candlehearth Hall. I think Veyron may be there too, but I'm not certain. I don't remember exactly where Cervantes and Maroluna are, I think they're either with Veyron or wandering the city somewhere. Cervantes and Maroluna are in Candlehearth Hall.


(Is that right? Y'all correct me if I'm wrong.)

@Dragonix975 Hey, just a couple things I thought I'd mention real quick.


First, I believe Abdel has left the RP, so Ria isn't really going to be playing a part anymore unless she decides to come back. If she were still here, you would need to discuss it with her and possibly the rest of the group before implying that her character was to be captured in some way. That isn't really a big thing, especially if it was presented as just a sort of premonition or hunch that could be avoided if she wanted, but it would still be polite to talk it over with her before stating what would happen to her character in the future.


Another thing is that it sounds like you're intending for Veyron to be communicating telepathically with one of the Khajiit (not sure if you mean Saor or Maroluna). If this is the case, I think I'll have to ask you to find some other way to communicate with them because you haven't already established that your character has that ability, and I just don't think it's very realistic in this case. Sure, fantasy as a genre can stretch a bit, but I think that's going a little far here, especially considering that your character already has some very unusual attributes, including prophetic visions and being associated with daedra. I think it's already a bit of a stretch, so I'm gonna have to say no to adding that ability.


Finally, I've noticed that you've been having Veyron in his visions a fair bit lately. Do you think they would be more impactful if used sparingly during specific, important moments? For example, maybe the night before some great battle or project, seeing one potential end result, or seeing the face of a stranger that one of the characters will meet in the next post. Of course, these would need to be discussed OOC so that everyone can have their say and come to an agreement about what's going to happen. It would also help us as readers to understand what you are intending for them to mean. There are still other characters in Candlehearth Hall, so there are other people for Veyron to interact with.
